HOW DON'T FORGET TO GOD IN OUR DAILY

We all must strive every day so  do not 'forget' God. Because even though our mouths often say we love God, but in deeds, we often fail to make it happen ..

Here are simple tips that may be applicable,  which basically involves God in everything we do every day,  either at the same time happy or difficult:

  • Try on waking in the morning every day, starting with thanksgiving. Display the picture of Jesus on the bed near us, so that we wake up, we remember Jesus first,   we give thanks for the gift of 'live' today,  and  pray, "Lord, help me to better remember you today."
  • Prepare   a place to pray at home . Throw in situ Scripture, prayer book / meditation, the rosary and the cross of the Lord Jesus.
  • Provide  time specifically for prayer (morning and evening)  and reflect on the daily readings of the day, for example, the initial half hour a day, then to 1 hour or more. Look for the best time, do not take the time too late, so not tired and in a hurry.  Do a silent prayer, the prayer of Jesus, the rosary while contemplating the events of the life of Jesus (Joyful, Light, Sad, Noble), or a spontaneous prayer.
  • Take a piece of sentences / words of Scripture readings of the day, and repeat it in mind throughout the day. Like for example, we were impressed by the words, "produce good fruit" (Luke 6:43).  Pray continue, "Lord, help me so that I bear good fruit today."
  • If driving a car, attach the tape / CD spiritual, whether in the form of songs, or rosary, or if there is / lets  listen to Catholic radio broadcasts.
  • Discover God in the ordinary and routine, let us examine, what activities are most dominate us: For example, if we are working in the office, so get working table, thanksgiving.  If you are having difficulties in the job, say, "Lord, have mercy on me . "If the experience of praise and thanks," Lord, thank you, you are really magical. "
  • Discover God in the simple things that even the boring things, like when you're cleaning the house / wash dishes, sports / jogging, or waiting for something, pray the Hail Mary. Think of the people who need our prayers, and pray for them along with the Virgin Mary,  "Mother Mary, pray for .... (Name that would in praying) in the presence of Jesus. Hail Mary ... .dst "or pray the rosary.
  • Discover God when we do things we do not like or that requires sacrifice. Say to myself,  "... this I do for the sake of my love for Jesus ... this is nothing compared to the cross of Christ ... let Jesus, help me carry my cross this .... I hope this small cross later menghantarku / and ... .. (name of the person that I pray) to heaven ".
  • Discover God in the people we meet.  Starting from the husband / wife / parents / children who are closest to us (or for monks nuns, discover God in superior, or fellow monks / nuns). Start the day with a hello and give expression to their love.
  •  Find the God of the people who come to us / we meet on that day,  for example: foreign guests, friends who laments, people who ask for help, or even those who make us sad / upset. Remember that what we do to them, we do to Jesus.
  • Find out God in the world news of the day.  If you read the newspapers / TV news, see what happens in the world around us, give thanks for all the good news, and ask God's help if there is a disaster. Pray for those who suffer, the country's leaders and Church leaders.
  • Remember to always pray to give thanks before and after meals.
  •  If we want to be disciplined,  install alarms at certain hours to remind that at that time you need a short prayer,  eg every 12 noon / 3 pm. Once it is used, then the alarm was not needed anymore. This brief prayers can be very simple, "Blessed are you, Lord", or  "God kasihinilah our"   Fit sticker / 'post-it' plain in certain places that we see most often.  At the moment we see it, give thanks toGod. If it is used, we do not require post-it again.
  • Try to follow the Mass, more than once a week. Prepare earnest hearts before attending Mass, and  at the time of consecration, ask again, "Lord, help me to remember and love you.
  • Take the time to fellowship with brothers / sisters in the faith, and  deepen your Catholic faith .
  • Check the inner bedtime. Offer to the Lord, all the good we have done that day.And ask forgiveness for our failure to do good that day. Take time to pause in God ..  If we find sin in the examination of conscience, we immediately confess our sins in the Sacrament of Penance, as far as possible on the next day, and  ask that God help us not to repeat the sin again.
  • Close the day with a smile,  "Jesus, I give thanks, praise you!"
  • Let us pray that the Lord give us the grace to always remember and love Him.Remembering the Lord is part of the 'prayer', and therefore the desire for prayer itself is a blessing, let us give thanks for this grace, and asked the Lord to enable us to respond to that grace.
