Part 1: Jeremiah 33: 14-16
Thus says the Lord, "Behold, the days come, that I fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and Judah. At that time I will raise a righteous descendant of David. He will execute justice and righteousness in the land. At that time Judah will freed, and Jerusalem will live in safety. And with this name will be called:
The Lord our justice!
Thus saith the Lord.
Psalms: Psalm 25: 4-5ab.8-9.10
Thee, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
* Tell your streets to me, O Lord, show thy hallways me. Take me to walk in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me.
* God is good and true; He therefore show the way to those who are astray.
He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way unpretentious people.
* All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to those who adhered to the treaty and his warnings. God's intimate associate with the righteous in him, and his covenant he tell them.

On one occasion, Jesus blessings to His disciples, "It would appear the signs in the sun, the moon and stars, and on earth.
The nations of the earth shall fear and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will die of fright because of anxiety in connection with everything coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. At that time people will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near. Therefore, keep yourselves, lest your heart filled with debauchery and drunkenness and worldly interests, and not until the day of the Lord suddenly fall upon you
like a trap. Because it will overwrite all the inhabitants of this earth. Keep watch and pray always, that ye may gain the strength to escape all that will happen, and that you may stand before the Son of Man. "

Afterthought
Today is Sunday Advent I. The new liturgical year begins, and we begin the liturgical year is to wait for the coming of the Lord. Actually four weeks of Advent week has a different meaning. Advent Sunday I and II are directed to contemplation of waiting the arrival of Jesus at the end of time. Then reading the second reading this week is associated with the end of time, the coming of the Son of Man will come with power and will judge all people. Medium Advent Sunday readings readings III and IV are directed to the preparation of waiting the coming of the Lord Jesus first, when incarnate and was born as a human being.
Keywords for waiting is to just in case. That is what our Lord said in the Gospel today. In order for the coming day of the Lord is not surprising to us, let us just in case. We must just keep praying .. Looked here, praying not just for praise and plead with God about what we need meaningful Pray also for our protection against temptation and things that make us ready to welcome the Lord. Pray also is the most fitting way to gain strength for resilient power we as disciples of Christ's disciples.
Item reflection
We are already used to pray. But would not this be our prayer contains various request that we are healthy, we survived, we passed the exam, our fortune jackpot continues, our house does not leak, and so on. When we pray, whatever its content, whether whatever we ask, would have been really good as long as we point to our Lord. And the more diligently and regularly we pray, we will increasingly feel that the spiritual life we are strong, that we are resilient, that we are more peaceful. In the sense that we have just in case as requested by the Lord
Prayer
O Lord, to my assistance that I was not dissolved in worldly affairs, but always rely on thee in my entire life. Amen

Reading 1: Dan 7: 15-27
I, Daniel, moved by the vision that I've had, and I feel very agitated because of the vision he had seen. So I approached one of those standing there, and I asked for an explanation of all this. Then he said to me and tell its meaning, "These four great beasts tail that is
four kings who will arise from the earth. After that the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever. "Then I wanted to know the meaning of the fourth beast, which is different from other animals.
It was very scary animal, hoofed toothed iron and copper. The beast devoured and crushed its prey, and the rest trampled with his feet.
I also want to get an explanation of the existing ten horns on its head and about the other horn, the horn that had eyes and mouth as well as bragging; growing so patahlah previous three horns, and likely to be greater than all the existing horn.
I saw that horn waging war against the saints and defeating them, until the Ancient of Days arrived and judgment was given
the saints of the Most High. --- And there came time
saints it took office. ---
So then he said, "The fourth beast is the fourth kingdom
which will be on the earth, and that is different from all other kingdoms; he will devour the whole earth, trampling and crushing.
The ten horns are ten kings that arise from that kingdom.
Then they will turn up a king; he differs from the former kings and will subdue three kings. He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall persecute the saints of the Most High. He attempted to change times and laws: and they shall be given into the hand during one period and two times and half a time. Then the court will convene. Power will be taken from the king, he would be annihilated and destroyed forever. So the government, the power and the majesty of all the kingdoms under heaven will be given to the saints, the people of God Most High. Their reign is eternal reign, all powers shall serve and obey them.

At that time Jesus said to the disciples of His, "take heed to yourselves, lest your heart loaded by carousing and drunkenness and worldly interests, and not until the day of the Lord suddenly fall upon you like a trap. For it will overwrite all the inhabitants of the earth. Be on guard constantly, praying, so that you get the strength to escape all that will happen, and so that you stand before the Son of Man. "

Afterthought
Today's Gospel about Jesus rebuked the man whose life is filled with debauchery, drunken drinking and fettered by worldly interests. Such a situation would cripple human relationships right with God and the human relationship with each other. A sense of security by the abundance of food and beverage filling and intoxicating could make a man closed his heart for others who are suffering, hungry and poor. Jesus counseled his followers to remain loyal to his arrival with the attitude of a sensitive heart, which always keep vigil and pray continually.
We do not know when the Lord's return, but the Word of God today invites us to remain faithful in faith and believe that God is truly present amid us. God is always listening and paying attention to our prayers. God did not call us to shackled in orgies and drunkenness, but to bring the goodness of God through concrete actions every day, where there was a successful experience and failure, experience sad and happy, but we are not alone, because through the vigil continues, sensitive heart and faithful in prayer , we are given the strength and faith in the truth that He is present and acts in our midst this world. And in the end, God through His Son Jesus Christ who was sacrificed to die on the cross and rose gives a new hope in the Holy Spirit, call and collect us to get into the party Supper of the Lamb in His kingdom
Item reflection
Jesus gave counsel that we escape free from all pleasures of the world and we are invited to keep watch in prayer. This attitude will lead us away from debauchery and concerned with their own pleasure. The wise man also advises:
"Pray as if your life to stay one day, work hard as if you will live a thousand years" Ora et Labora said the Latins, praying and working is way worth it to wait for the Lord.
Prayer
Yes Lord, open our hearts to be always faithful to keep vigil and pray before You. Amen.

Reading 1: Dan 7: 2-14
I, Daniel, received a vision in the night. Looks four winds of heaven the great sea. Then take four great beasts of the sea, each different from the others. The first one looked like a lion and had eagles' wings.
I watched, its wings were pulled off and it was lifted from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, and he was given a human heart.
And there seems to be another beast, a second, resembling a bear.
He stood on one side, and three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. Thus said to him, 'Come on, eat lots of meat.' Then I saw another beast appears again,
looked like a leopard. There are four wings of a bird on its back. Moreover, the four-headed beast, and he was given power. Then I saw in the night visions, appears a fourth beast, terrifying and hair-raising, he was very strong. He had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed its prey, and trampled underfoot whatever was left. he is different from all the previous. after all he is ten horns. While I watched the horns, antlers grew among some other small, so three of the first horns
uprooted. At the horn that looked no eyes like human eyes and a mouth that boasted.
While I continue to see, thrones were set, and sat the Ancient of Days. His clothing was white as snow and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne of flames, wheels of fire blazing. A river of fire arising and flowing from his presence. Thousands of serving him,
and hundreds of thousands stood before Him. Then sit down the court and opened the Books. I keep watching because the little horn of the fourth beast say the words arrogant. I kept looking until the beast was killed. Carcass destroyed and thrown into the fire that burns. Also powers the animals had already been removed, and their lifespan is determined to time and a season. I continue to see the vision of the night, it seems like a Son of Man coming on the clouds along the sky. He is facing one who has aged him and ushered into his presence. Similar to the Son of Man is betrayed power, honor and power as king. And all nations, tribes and languages served Him. His eternal power and His kingdom will not perish.

"Behold the fig tree and all the trees. When you look at the trees sprout leaves, you know itself, that summer is near. Similarly, if you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. I tell you, this generation will not pass, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will not pass. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.
Afterthought
Jesus requested that we pay attention to the signs of the times, such as when people determine the arrival of summer. Signs to watch out for apparent in previous readings, Jerusalem was besieged and there are signs of a horrible nature. If that happens, a sign that the kingdom of God is near.
To read the signs of the times, some questions can be a guide. What is God's will for me? What is the point of this event and that, for the advancement of my life? Which steps should I take, to answer his will? Attempts to answer this question, growing sensitivity to the signs of God. Menbaca sign of the times, should be the attitude to life. That is the message today.
A mother suffered a family economic crisis. He fought with all his energy and uses a variety of opportunities to support their families. One thing that never he left is asking the fortune of God. One day, suddenly there is an acquaintance offered cooperation to manage the consumption of a meeting, on another day suddenly mother got a shipment of rice from neighbors. This story is often the unpleasant memories, until one day the mother was startled by the realization that this time God has to maintain it. Is not every financial crisis there are always family fortune that you could sustain a family?
God has helped him, through various events. Also the apparently coincidental. Mother belief in God grows and sustains life.
The attitude of reading signs of the times, make people organize their lives. He made plans to dedicate themselves and trying to deal with the events, while involving God. Because reading the signs of the times, my friend was able to make a group of students who began to pray together. Because reading the signs of the times, a mother to believe that God is always near him. Because reading the signs of the times, a bapakbertekad an assistant priest, who split the communion and visiting the terminally ill, capable of uniting his sufferings with the sufferings of Christ. Because reading the signs of the times, a student determined to study hard. Because reading the signs of the times, people are able to present themselves.
Item reflection
When we realize that the kingdom of God is near, we are certainly willing to change. Awareness of this change will lead us to be diligent to confession with confidence that God really forgive our sins and give us the strength to fight against sin and evil. The call of Jesus was addressed to everyone, because Jesus loves us His people. So let us come to Jesus through the Sacrament of Penance. Believe Jesus offers eternal life and salvation. He guarantee our lives today and in the future be in the kingdom of God.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, forgive us our sins and hantarlah we enter the kingdom of Thy Amen.

Reading 1: Dan 6: 12-28
On one occasion the employees of King Darius Daniel came into the room, and found Daniel praying and beg God. So they went to the king and the king asked, "Is not My Lord issued a decree that everyone within thirty days submit an application to one god or man other than the Lord, will be cast into the den of lions?" The king replied, "Yes! The case was certainly under the laws of the Medes and Persians, which can not be revoked." Then they said to the king, "Daniel is an exile of Judah, did not heed my lord, O king. He did not heed the ban on the lord spend, but three times a day he said his prayers." Very distressed to hear that the king, and he find a way to rescue Daniel. Even until sunset, he was still trying to rescue him. But the employees were hurried in to the king and said to him, "Know, O king, that according to the law of the Medes and Persians no prohibition or determination issued by the king can be changed." After that the king gave the order,
and Daniel, and cast into the den of lions. Speak king to Daniel, "God you worship diligently, he presumably will deliver thee!" Then they brought a stone and placed at the mouth of the cave.
King of rock branded it with his signet ring and with the signet ring of his superiors, so that in the case of Daniel held not change anything.
Then the king went to his palace and fasted overnight late-night. He did not come right comfort you, and he can not sleep. Early in the morning when dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions' den.
Once in the cave, he cried to Daniel with a wistful voice, "Daniel, servant of the living God, your God that you worship diligently,
Can They have him deliver thee from the lions? "Daniel answered," O king, may kekallah life! My God sent his angel to shut the mouths of lions. So I did not lay a hand on, because I was not guilty before my God. Similarly to my lord, O king, I am not guilty. "The king was very joy and gave the order to haul Daniel up from the den. Then the top the king's orders, arrest was the people who had accused Daniel, and cast into the lions' den, either their own or their wives and children. They did not even get to the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them,
and crushed their bones. Then king Darius sent a letter
to people of all nations, tribes and languages, which inhabit the whole earth, saying, "Growing-added was presumably well-being you! Herewith I give orders, that in all the kingdom that I have mastered one should fear and trembling against the God of Daniel, because he is the living God, eternal forever; His government will not perish and his power will never end. He let go and help, and held signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth. He is the release of Daniel from the grip of the lions . "Thus saith the Lord.

At that time Daniel said to King Nebuchadnezzar, "O king, lord saw a vision, which is a large statue! The statue is high, shining exceptional, standing upright in front of my master, and seemed to horrify.

When people are willing to give, even though it hurt, but do it with sincerity, there is no love in it.
In today's Gospel, Jesus praises the poor widow offerings. Although the widow only offered money two small copper coins, but he gave of its shortcomings, Behind the hidden offering great sacrifice, he offered money mean a lot to her, people others may give offerings are much bigger than himself. Nevertheless they give advantages. The offerings that do not interfere with their lives.
Item reflection
This poor widow offerings awaken us, often we claim to love God, Dare we present something precious to Him? In the midst of, would we give time to prayer and join in the ministry? Are we willing to dedicate the majority of our income to support the mission of the Church? Love does not stop with mere words. Like a tree, love becomes full when fruitful. Fruitful means sharing a blessing for others, especially the needy, the sick and indeed very beautiful.
Prayer
O Lord, teach us to prove our love Thee through genuine self offerings for the development of the kingdom of Your love in this world. Amen.

By waiting for His second, we look forward to when Jesus comes as the great King who judge the living and the dead, as well as completing the whole work of redemption.
Christ's Kingdom is not of this world, Christ as King is He who brings peace to mankind through His blood. The second reading clearly calls this, "He loves us, and He thanks his blood washed us from our sins. He has made us a kingdom, "Christ became King precisely through events humiliated on the cross. In the Gospel of John, Jesus was crucified instead of Jesus as King of meaningful recovery. He was enthroned as King precisely through His crucifixion.

At that time king Antiochus exploring the mountainous region of Persia. He heard the news that Elimais, a city in Persia, famous for its rich silver and gold. Anyway in the city there is a temple that is very rich,
because there is kept gold armaments, as well as armor and weapons left Alexander, son of Philip, king of Macedonia, the first to reign over the Greeks. So Antiochus went there and tried to take the city and looting. But he did not succeed because it means getting caught by the city's population. They provide resistance to the king, so he escaped from there and with regret going back to the city of Babylon.
Then someone came to the area to tell the king of Persia, that the armies were entering Judea already repulsed. Lysias especially the war with a strong army has been beaten back by the Jews. The Jews had grown strong because of weapons, troops and lots of swag they receive from the soldiers who had them beat. They have also dismantle the idol set up by the king on the altar in Jerusalem. They have fenced the temple with high walls as before. Similarly, Beth-Zur, one of the king. Hearing the news of the king was amazed and very distracted. We must have experienced difficulties in life, happens because of our own fault or is caused by others. It must be recognized that the prayer time is generally not a lot of people are again active, productive, invited seminars here and there, or it's working. In today's Gospel Jesus says very beautifully "Indeed the Kingdom of God already in the midst of you." The kingdom of God is Adadi among us, present in the various events of our lives. The kingdom of God is present when we let God as king in our lives daily day. When a father willing to forgive and accept the return of his son, who had embarrassed the family name with the evil, when a wife willing to accept the return of her husband who has an affair, that is where the kingdom of God is present, Unfortunately nowadays people often interpret the coming of the kingdom of God with signs Judgement is superb. It is supposed that the kingdom of God will come in a natural disaster or in an all-powerful supernatural signs incredible. To this Jesus has warned us, "Be careful ....
