Reading the Liturgy Sunday, November 15, 2015
PDF ST. Albert the Great, Bishop and Doctor of the Church

Reading 1: Dan 12: 1-3
I, Daniel, heard the angel of the Lord said, "At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people. There will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation until that time; . But at that time thy people shall be delivered, ie, anyone who is found written in the book. And many of the people who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and horror that eternal. And people are wise will shine like the light of the horizon, and that has led many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalms: Psalm 16: 5.8.9-10.11
Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
* O Lord, Thou inheritance and my cup, You alone are confirming portion allotted to me. I always look to the Lord; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
* Therefore my heart is glad and rejoice my soul, and my body will dwell in hope; For you will not abandon me to the grave, and not let your Holy One to see corruption.
* You tell me the path of life; in your presence there is abundant joy, at thy right hand there are delights eternal.

Reading 2: Hebrews 10: 11-14.18
Brothers, every priest his service every day, and repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can not at all take away sins. But Christ only offered one sacrifice for sins, and then he sat down for ever on the right hand of God, he is now looking forward to the moment when His enemies will be made his footstool. Because by one sacrifice that only Christ has perfected for ever them that He sanctified. Now where there is forgiveness, is no longer any sacrifice for sin.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to Gospel  Luk 21:36
Keep watch and pray always, that ye may stand before the Son of Man.

Gospel: Mark 13: 24-32
Once, in his preaching about the end times, Jesus said to His disciples, "At the end of time, after severe tortures,
the sun will be darkened, and the moon do not shine; the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
At that time people will see the Son of man coming in the clouds
with power and great glory. And at that time anyway
He will send His angels out and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, ye know that summer is near.
Likewise, when you see these things happening, know that it is near, even at the doors. I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away until all these things occur. Heaven and earth will pass away,
but my words shall not pass away. But about that day or hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son was not!
Only the Father knows! "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Afterthought
We must have experienced difficulties in life, happens because of our own fault or is caused by others. In the face of severe adversity, those whose faith is weak will easily give up and escape from reality. But for those whose faith is strong, hardship is seen as a challenge to test the toughness of yourself. They are not desperate but struggled out of trouble on their own or ask for help from God and each other.
"Man comes from the ground and going back to the ground." Said the wise man. In this sense, man is very weak and powerless, fatigue, weakness, pain and death. However, humans become stronger thanks to the breath of God. God gives divine life to him, he became part of God's own life, that's a fact of human life.
When everyone realizes this state, he will not be bragging. Human life is finite, imperfect. But God is always calling to be holy and perfect as He is perfect. Holiness is calling everyone, it has been internalized by St. Teresa of Avila, his whole life devoted to God and neighbor.
Arrogance and selfishness at the root of sin. Living together into a bland not useful, it is like a royal household or the pitch broke broken (Mk 13: 24-29) evil spirits will control that house, all members of selfish and blame each other. Instead, humble attitude will make it easier to know themselves what they are,

Items to contemplation
Today's Gospel takes us to the understanding of the end times, when it's time we do not know, God asks us to keep just in case and be ready. Let us learn about ourselves by being humble, so that we become more holy life from day to day. Undoubtedly we will have a happy life with God in Heaven.

Prayer
O God, we believe that by sharing the burden of our lives but if you intervene, then the burden will be lighter. Teach us to always be humble and gentle as the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
