Reading the Liturgy Saturday, November 14, 2015

Part 1: Wis 18: 14-16; 19: 6-9

Gospel: Luke 18: 1-8
On one occasion Jesus told a parable to his disciples to affirm, that they should always pray and not lose heart. He said, "In a city there was a judge who neither feared God and did not respect anyone. In that city there was a widow who always comes to the judge and said, 'Defend my rights against my opponent.' For a long time the judge refused. But he then said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God and did not respect anyone, yet because this widow trouble me, I will justify him, lest continually coming and finally attacked me. " Then Jesus said,
"Listen to the words of the judge who did wrong! Did not God would justify the choice of his, who day and night call upon him? And is he stalling before helping them? I tell you, 'He will immediately help them.' However, if the Son of Man comes, is there he find faith on earth? "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Afterthought
Let us count, to the day how long we earnestly pray. It must be recognized that the prayer time is generally not a lot of people are again active, productive, invited seminars here and there, or it's working. Of course for those who are already retired, elderly and pious, generally more prayer time. There are also those expressed pray that sometimes boring. We are tired of praying because the time was long, but it could be we are bored pray because we feel that our prayer is not granted by God. Then we broke down, even stopped to pray. At that time, we tired to pray.
But on this day God actually invites us to not lose to pray, but to pray faithfully as a widow in the Gospel. He prayed with confidence that God would provide what he asked for God knows what is needed. Therefore, as long as there were, continue to diligently ask without embarrassment, let alone bored. In addition, he also patiently waiting for the moment, where the Lord will give what is asked. Persistence and patience was the fruit of faith. For such a person, God promised not to stall stalling for granted what he needed.
Prayer is part of the faith because prayer is an expression of one's faith in their Lord. Without faith, it is impossible to pray and vice versa without the prayer of faith may not grow and bear fruit. Thus, every believer must have prayed. But the middle of the trip, the faithful should be prepared to experience boredom in prayer, when people feel that prayer did not affect anything in his life. And for people who are such, that the ultimate goal of prayer is not the will and desire of their own but the Lord's will that be the case as his happiness lies in God's will, not the will. Pray make us strong to suffer, pray make us ready to face the day of our death, we pray into the path of holiness, That lived by St. Teresa of Avila so striking perfection of life.

Prayer is the source of our life force, because it let us,
1. Adding hours of prayer.
2. Pray earnestly, do not let yourself sleepy and mind like picnics and fro.
3. Try us pray silently while air activity, while driving a vehicle and will precede, pray to be saved, when going to cross the river, pray to be saved, see beggars on the street When pray that beggars can eat today.

Prayer
O God, you taught us to act like the act of a widow in the Gospel You today, I hope we dare to come to you, and graciously our every request. Amen.
