Reading the Liturgy Tuesday, November 3, 2015

Part 1: Romans 12: 5-16a
Brothers, though many, are one body in Christ; but each of us are members of one another. Thus we have the gift that varies according to the grace given to us: If the gift is prophesying let us do so in accordance with our faith. If it is to serve, we should serve; if it is teaching, he must teach; if it is exhortation, he must exhort. Who dispenses something, let him do it with a sincere heart; who gave the leadership, let him do it diligently; who is showing mercy, let him do it with joy. Let love do not pretend! Stay away from evil and do good. Be ye love one another as brothers and precedes each other in salute. Never be diligence loose, let it be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. Rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation, and persevering in prayer! Help the shortage of saints and eager to always give you a ride! Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse! Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep! Be of the same mind in your life together; You must not think of cases that high, but the incline yourself to cases that simple. Do not be conceited!

Psalm: Ps 131: 1,2,3
Lord, protect me in thy peace

Gospel: Luke 14: 15-24
At that time Jesus was invited by a Pharisee, while the banquet took place, said one of the guests said to Jesus: "Blessed are those who will be treated in the kingdom of God." But Jesus said to him: "There was a made a great feast, and he invited many people. By the banquet began, he sent his servant to say to the invitation: Come, because everything is already prepared.
But they together apologized. The first said to him: I have bought a field, and I have to go see it; Please excuse me. Another said: 'I have bought five yoke of oxen and I am going out; Please excuse me. And another said: I have married a wife, and therefore I can not come. So the slave returned and convey all that to his master. Then the householder in anger said to his servant: Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring hither the poor and the disabled and the blind and the lame. Then the servant reported, 'Sir, what you are commanded had been carried out, but even so there are still places. Then the master said to the servant, Go out into the highways and country roads and urge people, who were there in, that my house may be filled. Afterthought
Why the motor we can walk well? Because the motorcycle parts to function properly. Why do our bodies healthy? Yes, because all our organs to function properly. Why mango tree in the garden we can thrive and produce abundant fruit? Yes, because all parts of the element in the mango tree is healthy and functioning properly. And so on, everything can only work and live well when all the elements or a part of something that can function properly fit properly.
Similarly, we as a community of the Church can live, grow and thrive best when every member of the Church community live and work in accordance with the duties and role or function properly. That is what St. Paul in the first reading today, the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans portray the church as one body in Christ. Each of us was given a different gift from God. When people work and serve in accordance with each gift, the life of the Church we are really good and beautiful. Who had the gift of prophecy, yes prophesy, who has the gift of teaching, yes Teach. Who has something to share that can be shared, so share it with sincere, and so on.

Items to contemplation.
