First reading Joel 2: 12-18
"Now," Tus saith the Lord, "turn ye unto me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping and mourning." The tear your heart and not your garments, turn to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness, and relenting from calamitous punishment. Who knows? Perhaps he will turn and repent, and leave a blessing a meal offering and a drink offering to the Lord your God. Blow the trumpet in Zion, Thou holy fasting, proclaim association highway; assemble this people, consecrate the assembly, gather people who are elderly, gather the children, even children who suckle; Let the bridegroom come out of his room and the bride from her bedroom. Let the priests, the Servants of the Lord, weep between the porch in front of the altar, and said, "Have pity, O Lord, Thy people,
and let not thine inheritance, Become a reproach, so that the nations insinuated to them. Why are people saying the nation among nations: Where is their God? "And the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity on his people.
Tus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 51: 3-4.5-6a.12-13.14.17
Have mercy on us, O God, because we are sinners.
* Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love, according to the magnitude of Your mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!
* For I am aware of my transgressions, my sin is always looming in front of me. Against you, you alone I sinned,
evil in thy sight I did.
* Create a clean heart in me, O God, and Renew Steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me!
* Give me the joy of Your salvation, and establish the willing spirit within me. O Lord, open my lips, that my mouth to proclaim praises to You.

Second Reading 2 Corinthians 5: 20-6: 2
Brothers, we are ambassadors for Christ; as though God were making his appeal through us. In the name of Christ we ask thee, Give yourselves be reconciled with God. Christ who knew no sin was made Him to be sin for us, so that in him we are justified by God. As a group of fellow workers, we advise you that you will not make vain the grace of God you have received. For God said, "At the time I was pleased, I will listen, and on the day I saved, I'll help you." My point is, when this is the accepted time; This is the day of salvation.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to Gospel Psalm 95: 8AB
On this day, if you hear the voice of God, do not vibrate the liver.

Gospel reading Matthew 6: 1-6.16-18
In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said to His disciples, "Be careful not to do your righteousness before people
to be seen. Because if so, you have no reward from your Father in heaven. So, when you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. I tell you: 'They've got his wages.' But when you give alms, let your left hand know what your right hand. Let charity was given secretly. Then your Father, who see the hidden will reward you.
And when you pray, do not pray like the hypocrites. They love to say their prayers standing up in the synagogues and on the corners highway, so that they may be seen. I tell you, 'They've got his wages.' But when you pray,
go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father, who see the hidden will reward you. When you fast,
do not look somber as the hypocrites. They disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you, 'They've got his wages..' But when you fast, oiled head and wash your face, so as not to be seen by others when you are fasting, but only to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father, who see the hidden will reward you. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Reflections grains.
Psalm response today goes like this: "Have mercy, O Lord, for we are sinners" Quote This psalm invites us to humbly plead with God to be merciful Father is pleased to bestow His grace and mercy to us. That means we as His people sorry for all the sins and mistakes we ever did. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of a period of repentance we as Catholics. Forty days we realize ourselves as "dust" of the world, namely, as a symbol of recognition of the weakness of our humanity. At the time of this conversion we prepare our hearts to celebrate the Passover of the Lord with the first of all to instill a sense of repentance in our hearts, respectively. So that this penitential period should bring us really really want to build a good relationship with God and our neighbors in the form of fasting, charity and prayer.
By fasting means that we lower our own souls before God and expressing our dependence upon Him. By charity we pay attention to our neighbors who are less fortunate, the poor, or who need our helping hand. And with prayer, we get closer to the God we believe in. Open your heart to His will and His will promote in our daily life. So let us ponder and do the Gospel message today, that attitude sanctimonious, hypocritical kept out of our lives, respectively. Conversely, for the attitude of our lives open to God's will and seek kindness to others, especially to those people who are always in need of help and attention.

Prayer,
My God is all-wise, we teach your people to give with joy and do not show off, do not want to be seen and praised others. Amen.

First reading Sir 35: 1-12
Fulfill the law of God is the same as the offering many sacrifices, and pay attention to all the commandments of God is the same as the sacrificial offering of salvation. Replying kindness
offer sacrifice together with grain and doles out equal to deliver a sacrifice of thanksgiving. Relayed by the Lord is to depart from evil, and refuse despotism is the same as a sin offering. Do not appear before the Lord empty-handed,
for they shall obey God. Sacrifice of the altar melemaki honest, and sweet to the presence of the Most High.
God is pleased with the sacrifice of people who are honest, and never forget.
Honor the Lord with generosity, and the first fruits in your hands do not kausedikitkan. Bring your gifts to the face cheerful,
and gladly sertakanlah a tenth part into the holy items. Give to the Most High in accordance with what is given you: that too must generously and according to your income. For God will avenge, and will reward you seven fold. Do not try to bribe God, for he will not accept!

will see the salvation of God!

Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew 11:25
Blessed art thou Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because the mystery of the kingdom Kaunyatakan to the simple.

Gospel reading Mark 10: 28-31
After Jesus said how hard the rich to enter the Kingdom of God,
Peter said to Jesus, "Look, we have left everything to follow you." Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, whoever left the house, brothers and sisters, mother or father, children or fields at this time also he will receive a hundred fold of mothers, brothers, sisters, mother,
children and fields, even with persecutions; and in the future he will receive eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
There was a young man who just graduated from college, the long-haired kid in jeans perforated holes. Yes understand young people, but as soon as he received the advanced school and become a teacher, he could change completely. Now looks neat, short hair, clean clothes. Status of work as a teacher changed his life that had been arbitrarily  to the appearance of a teacher who should set an example to his students. Such status or dignity of a person can change the behavior and lifestyle of the person.
St. Peter thinking about the same as the above. Now we all have to be disciples of disciples of Christ, now we're all God's people, the children of God. As the people of God of course we have to be worthy of the life of this new dignity. St. Peter said: Should you be holy in all your conduct, just as He who has called you is holy ..... Let ye holy, as God's holy presence. We have been redeemed by the holy God, then we must live up to the status of people who bought it, which is holy, to live well, not indulgence, In the language of the Gospel, let us dare to leave everything and follow Christ.

Item contemplation.
It is fine if there are people who dreams aspirations to become saints. Yes why not, but holiness should not be the purpose of our life, unity with God remains the goal. Being holy is the fruit of unity with God. That means, if we persist in doing good, do not get angry when made annoyance, forgive when he gets the treatment is not good, smile at your friends who have betrayed us, we're expressing dignity we are as children of God and disciples of disciples of Christ is good, it is should we have to do.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent and eternal, He shall strengthen our unity and cohesion among your people, Help us to mutually open, trusting and willing to accept our neighbor is in accordance with your will. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (MONDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Monday, February 27, 2017

First reading Sir 17: 24-29
For people who regret the Lord opened the way back. God comforts those who have lost courage. Turn to God and let go of your sins, pray in front of him and stop insulting.
Go back to the Most High and turn away from the wicked world, and be very loathe to abomination. Who on the dead praise the Most High as a substitute for the living? Who is dedicated it in there? Praise of the dead are gone, as from the dead at all. Whereas he who is alive and well, he praised God. Great is God's mercy and forgiveness for all who turn to Him!
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 32: 1-2.5.6.7
Rejoice in the Lord and shout for joy, O people honest.
* Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, and his sins are covered! Blessed are those who mistake was not counted the Lord, and not soulless cheater!
* Finally, I express my sins to You and not hide my iniquity; I said "I'll be with the Lord."
So you've forgiven my mistakes.
* Therefore let all the godly pray to Thee, while overwritten distress; despite the great flood happened, he will not be knocked.
* You are hiding me, O Lord! You look after the distress you protect me, so I escaped and cheered.

Introduction to the Gospel 2 Cor 8: 9
Jesus became poor although he was rich, so that you become rich thanks to his poverty.

Gospel reading Mark 10: 17-27
One day Jesus left and went on his way. Then came a run to get him, and he will bow before him, he asked, "Good teacher, what must I do
to inherit eternal life? "Jesus said to him," Why do you call me good? No one is good but God! You certainly know the commandments: Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, and do not defraud, honor your father and mother! "
The man said to Jesus, "Teacher, all these things have kuturuti since my youth." But Jesus looked at him and loves him,
and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go, sell what you have, and give to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, and follow me." Hearing the words of Jesus, the man became upset and went away sorrowful: for many are his property. Then he looked at the disciples around Him and said to them, "How difficult it
the person who bears enter into the Kingdom of God. "The disciples were stunned to hear these words. But Jesus connect again,
"My Children, how difficult it was to enter the kingdom of God.
It is easier for a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. "The disciples increasingly fidgety and said to one another," Who then can be saved? "Jesus looked at them and said," For human beings it not impossible, but not for God. For with God all things are possible! "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
If we compare compare lives of the rich and the lives of the poor, the rich are less secure than the poor, the rich man is always thinking of his property that is not lost, because fear is so great, he is a fence of his house with a row of security guards. Another case with the poor, they do not have anything other than one in their bodies so they do not worry about losing anything. The rich are too attached to his property will be very anxious to hear the statement Jesus made a statement today, Jesus does not intend to prohibit Here we have a treasure, but it reminds us not to get too attached to possessions and mendewa dewakan our property. If we are simple people but so love yourself and are not willing to sacrifice for others, we are also difficult to enter into the kingdom of heaven. To follow Jesus we are in demand to sacrifice whatever is on us, even our lives. We give our whole being to Him and we should no longer be ours but belongs to him.

Item contemplation.
What is my attitude toward Jesus' invitation: "Come with me"? The extent to which attachments to possessions, family, worldly pleasures and myself? What requirements often I give so they can follow Jesus?

Prayer.
Good God almighty and eternal, we are your people are grateful for your compassion is boundless, show us the "treasure" that should we have not voluntarily but Thy will. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SUNDAY FEBRUARY 26, 2017)

Reading the Liturgy of the Sunday, February 26, 2017

First Reading Isaiah 49: 14-15
But Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me."
Then the Lord spake, "Can a woman forget her baby,
so that he does not love the child of her womb? Even should she forget, I will not forget you. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 62: 2-3.6-7.8-9ab
Only the Lord is my calm.
* Only close to God I was quiet,
than Him salvation. He only rock and my salvationHe alone is my refuge, I will not waver.
* Only God alone I calm down, because of the sentries hope. He only rock and my salvation, He alone is my refuge, I will not waver.
* In God there is no salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, refuge is God. Trust in Him at all times, O people,  Pour out your heart before Him.

Second Reading 1 Corinthians 4: 1-5
Brothers, should one regard us as servants of Christ,
and administrators of the mysteries of God. Is required of stewards so is
that they obviously trustworthy. Little meaning to me whether I am judged by you either by any human court. In fact I do not judge myself. I am not aware of anything, but not because that I was justified. Who judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes. He will also illuminate the hidden things of darkness. He also will show what is planned in the liver. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to Gospel Heb 4:12
Word of God is living and powerful, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Gospel reading Matthew 6: 24-34
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said to the disciples of His, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You can not serve both God and mammon. Therefore I say to you: do not worry about your life, what you are about to eat or drink, and do not worry too will your body, what you are about to wear. is not life more important than food , and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds in the sky, which did not sow and reap, nor gather supplies into barns, yet are fed by your Father in heaven. are you not much more valuable than they? who And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothing?
Consider the lilies of the field grow; they neither toil nor spin. But I tell you, even Solomon in all its glory
not clothed like one of these. So if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire,
would he be even more to dress you, O ye of little faith?
So do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat?
What shall we drink? Or 'What shall we wear? All that sought the nations who do not know God. But your Father in heaven knows,
that ye have need of all that. Therefore seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow have worry about itself. Sufficient for a day a day of distress. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Life is a choice . Option requires to choose one of two things are contradictory and impossible choice it was on the middle of two different sides. Human shackled by fear of life on the day tomorrow. If tomorrow we still get sustenance to eat and drink? The answer is we do not know. Therefore, humans feel deep concern. Humans can no longer do the right life choices. Goodness rooted in God who always resides in their lives, while the choice of life for the world comes from mammon. We can not make the choice that has two masters. We can only choose one of two things the possibility of choosing God or mammon.
Goodness and beauty of human life can be found if we direct our lives to God, the goodness of God reflected in the generosity that gives to all creatures equally. Therefore, the special task we are today and so is "Seek first the Kingdom of God, then everything will be added." We seek not an option on worldly possessions, but heavenly treasure. Learn from the belief of Jesus' disciples and shared the Psalmist we exclaim, "How good God, He gives the best of your life"

Item contemplation.
In this day and age it seems no one is free from worry, worrying about the future, concerned about health, worry about not having money for food, worries about being able to pay the school fees of children, concerned about whether children are not involved in drug use drugs, promiscuity free, and khawatr others. Some of our concerns were unfounded and exaggerated so that we can not even get sick bed.
Should we worry? Jesus said, "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? "What with the worry of our lives will be better? No, even with the worry could be the work we do does not work well. People who are worried about not concentrating on what they are doing. What recipe to be people who do not worry? We have faith, trust, and surrender that God will fulfill His promises to us. Jesus said, "So if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, would he be even more to dress you, O ye of little faith? "It's obvious that a going concern because of lack of trust.
Does this mean we stay silent and let all happen? Of course not, God still requires human cooperation. In any determination of a life plan is, people should not rely solely on his prowess, so forget the role of God. Humans try and resolve the Lord. Motto that will help us to yield to His plan and dare to hold on His promise that He will fulfill His promise. Surrendering to make us sleep well and wake up healthy and fresh, so that the work and effort we will be smoother and lighter. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow have worry about itself. A day is enough for a day of distress.
"Life" that really was not built by a sense khawair, but by a belief in a God who understands our needs. Concerns do not add to the length of life, will only generate doubts. In fact, many people are more worried about many things, rather than learn to believe in God.
Do not worry, because God really cared for the search for the Kingdom of God first. So strive daily obligations, while believing that Heavenly Father knows what we need.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, we beg Thy people we have strong religious beliefs to keep the entire organization of life handed us unto thee, for thou art the Lord and our mediator, now and all time. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SATURDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Saturday, February 25, 2017

First reading Sir 17: 1-15
God created human beings on the ground, and there too it will be returned.
God endowed with a number of day and time period, and to have authority over everything on earth. It features a similar force with the power of God, and God made in His own image. Inside every living creature of God planted fear of humans, so humans dominate animals and poultry. Tongue, eyes and ears had formed, and the man was given his heart to think. God filled with the knowledge of a wise man, and show him what is good and what is evil. He included his own eyes in the human heart to declare him the majesty of God's work. Man must praise the holy name of God to proclaim his glorious works. God is still adding more knowledge to give people the law of life for an inheritance. Tied his eternal covenant with them, and all his laws proclaimed to them. Their eyes have seen the glory of the great God and His powerful voice has been heard of their ears. God said to them, "Stay away from all unrighteousness." And each was given his orders concerning his neighbor. Step human behavior always lies before the Lord, and not hidden to the eyes of Him.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 103: 13-14.15-16.17-18a
Long live the eternal mercy of the Lord upon the righteous to Him.
* As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear God. For he knows of what we are made, He is aware that we are dust.
* As for man, his days are like grass, as a flower of the field, so he is progressing. If winds through it, then they are gone,
and the place was no longer known.
* But Long live the eternal mercy of the Lord upon those who piety to Him; Long live the eternal as his kindness on their children and grandchildren, so long as they stick to His covenant.

Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew 11:25
Blessed art thou, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because the mystery of the kingdom Kaunyatakan to the simple.

Gospel reading Mark 10: 13-16
Once upon a time people brought little children to Jesus for him to touch them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Seeing that, Jesus was angry and said to them, "Let the little children come to me! Do not forbid them! For those of such is the kingdom of God. I tell you," Truly, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God
like a little child, he shall not enter into it. "
Then he hugged the children, laid hands on them and blessed them.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
There is a parish every Sunday filled with children so that amaze outsiders who visit the parish. In fact, every afternoon, always a lot of children gathered in the yard of the church or in the parish hall. Her lively atmosphere, festive and really encouraging. After some investigation it turned out the two priests who hold this parish loves children. They are happy and close to the children. They do not get angry when the church filled with children, despite its atmosphere becomes solemn. Even during the celebration of the Eucharist, the children allowed to come near the altar and sat around the altar. Both priests also love the children together in the hall, dipelataran church. Pastors sometimes come into play, come ride with children.
The second time we asked the priest why it was done, they responded. "Did not Jesus himself taught us to be close to the children? Jesus said: Let the children come to me, do not be deterred "Father it turned out want to try the spirit of Jesus himself near children. With its close proximity to the children, the priest wanted to bring the love of Jesus so that the children feel the love of God through their attention.
The children in this story can also be interpreted as the small people, the powerless, the poor and destitute, those who set aside by the surrounding community. The apostles made a special classification concerns that can and can not see Jesus.
In daily life we too often judge our brothers, that they do not deserve to see Jesus, we reject their presence and create clear boundaries with them. Jesus accept anyone who comes to Him, He hates the proud of heart, but his heart wide open wide for those who are helpless and unwilling to surrender to His will, because these are the kingdom of Heaven.
What about us today, whether we love the children, and do not hinder the children to come to Jesus and also against the small people, the powerless, the poor and destitute, those who set aside by the surrounding community.? Disclosure of the Lord Jesus should be an example for our openness to anyone without any criteria criteria.

Item contemplation.
Today we are invited to contemplate Jesus' attitude to children. Who are the children for Jesus? Jesus is a person who loves and understands the nature of the nature of children. For Jesus, the children have a good nature, honest and sincere. Therefore, do not be surprised when the students deter those who bring children to come to Him, Jesus was angry and rebuked them.
Through today's Gospel, Jesus emphasized the importance of a mature Christian has the honesty, sincerity and innocence heart like a child. In addition, Jesus also wants every parent not to waste the innocence and sincerity which is owned by the children. Without realizing it, many parents who hinder children from coming to Jesus by giving them the freedom to to be bound by "idols of modern times" such as watching television excessively, video games and the Internet throughout the day of the invited children to pray and to believe in Jesus. And even worse, there are parents who do not try hard to keep the children from the dangers of promiscuity, drugs, violence and pornographic films because they themselves are already attached to the idol.

Prayer.
Yes good God almighty, we teach your people to not discriminate distinguish our neighbors, and able to live with each other to help those in need. Amen.

IMPORTANCE OF PURITY IN THE FAMILY.

What is the importance of purity?
"Man can fully discover his true identity, only in giving him sincere." 1. Someone is always centered in yourself and never give himself to others, will not live happily. While someone who is willing to give themselves for others will discover the meaning of his life. Well, the sincere gift of self willed by God, it is giving charity. That is why we need to know and implement the virtue of chastity, because only by applying them, then we can truly be happy and someday be able to look at God in heaven. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Mt 5: 8).

1. What is purity?
God wants our purity, meaning that God wants us to be perfect, body and soul, like in the beginning when He created man who is extremely good. The question then is: Is when we look at our own bodies in front of the mirror, we can say, "Thank God, you created me so well?" Or the next, already enough that we pay attention and maintain the beauty of our spiritual side of keeping beauty physical?
Human beings were created as spiritual beings who have a body; prudent and self-determining. This is what makes the human being can know and love God, and finds the meaning of life by making love. The question is, what kind of love? The simple answer, but immeasurably in the meaning is: love like the love of Jesus; the love that involves the body and the soul, as stated Him on the cross. This is the purity of the love that God is teaching us.
So no wonder that the Catholic Church defines purity, thus:
a) Purity = wholeness sexuality physically and spiritually
Purity means wholeness joyous sexuality in private and then inner unity of man in physical and spiritual existence. Sexuality, in which the real, that human beings belonging to the bodily and biological, becomes personal and truly human when the personal is incorporated into the relationship between one person and another, in the delivery of reciprocal perfectly and is not limited by time, between a man and a perempuan.Dengan virtue of chastity therefore involves the integrity of the person and the self.
If we live up to the meaning of the unity of body and soul, then we can see that our body created by God for a divine purpose, and with this body we can glorify God.
b) Purity = restraint refers to the gentleness and faithfulness of God
Purity becomes important, because perfect love requires purity in how to present it. Well, a pure is one who can control himself, at the time of committing himself to others; so it can be a witness to others about God's faithfulness and gentleness of love.
c) Purity = affirmation and self-giving that is not colored by the love of self / selfish.
It is a pure gift of self that is not easily done, especially because humans tend to have a sense of self-love. Our love of neighbor in general can be tested with this question: What in relationships with others, my focus is to please yourself or to please others? Whether in relationships with other people I helped to live a holy / pure or even plunge? Pope John Paul II taught, "The men and women who air-relate to one another with a purity truly glorify God with their bodies." [3]

2. Basic purity
I. Loneliness Origin
At the beginning of the creation, Adam experienced loneliness in a world of God's creation; because he realized that he was not the same as other creation (cf.. Gen. 2:20).
II. unity of Origin
Paragraph Gen. 2:24 ".... and the two become one body "... is the basis of their unity will default. This unity overcome human loneliness; and unity between a man and woman were created in the image and likeness of God, is truly different from horsing. Awareness of this original unity provides a basis for a person's ability to give of herself to others and respect others, as "brothers and sisters in the unity of mankind"
III. nudity Origin
Nudity default is naked but without the experience of shame (Gen. 2:25), so if we understand the meaning of original nakedness, then we will see how the grace of the invisible God was delivered to human beings, both men and women. Holiness involving one's way of looking at God's creation is good as it is, is what enables people to express themselves through self-giving that tu

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (FRIDAY 24 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Friday, February 24, 2017

First reading Sir 6: 5-17
Said kind words got a lot of friends, and the hospitality propagated by soft sweet tongue. Hopefully a lot of people make peace with you,
but only one of a thousand just become advisers and counselors. If you want to get a friend, test him first, and do not immediately believe him. Because there are people who are friends only during favorable, but when you get into hot water, he did not survive. There was also a friend who turned into enemies, and an insult to thee by telling percekcokanmu with him.
There is another friend who participated in the banquet, but did not survive the day kemalanganmu. At the time he was one mind you prosper with thee, and get along with your household. But if you retreat he turned against thee, and hide themselves against you. Stay away from the enemy, and beware of the friend. A faithful friend is a strong protector; who discovered it, finding a treasure.
A faithful friend, no priceless, and no price is paid. A faithful friend like medicine of life; only the righteous will obtain it. The righteous maintain friendships with straight heart, because as he himself, so shall his friend.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 119: 12.16.18.27.34.35
Let me live according to the instructions thy commandments.
* Blessed art thou, O Lord; teach thy statutes to me.
* Provisions thy will be a source of joy, your word will never forget.
* Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
* Make me understand instructions thy precepts, that I reflect on the deeds wondrous.
* Give me understanding, and I will hold thy law; with all my heart I want to preserve it.
* Let me live according to the instructions of your commands, because I love it.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 17: 17ab
Your Word, O Lord, is the truth. Sanctify us in the truth.

Gospel reading Mark 10: 1-12
One day Jesus went into the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan. there are many people came together to him, and as usual he was teaching them. Then the Pharisees wanted to test Jesus.
They asked, "Can a husband to divorce his wife?" But Jesus answered them, "What is the command Moses to you?" They replied, "Moses permitted a man to divorce by making divorce papers." Then Jesus said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart Moses write commands for you. Because at the beginning of the world, God made them male and female; for the man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. The two then become one flesh. They are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God united, jangalah separate. "
Once they arrived at the house, the disciples asked anyway about it to Jesus. Then Jesus said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife
and marries another woman, he is living in adultery against his wife.
And if a wife divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
A promise which is pronounced "....... I pledged allegiance to you in profit and unfortunate, and I want to love and respect all my life ... So
I promise for the sake of God and these holy Gospels "An unspoken promise so sweet when two beings, men and women pledged their relationship as husband and wife in the Sacrament of Marriage. Then become husband and wife that carry a heavy task, namely to keep the promise that they say could last until death parted.
Through today's Gospel, we are faced with a fundamental principle in the sacrament of marriage, which is what God has joined together let no one separate. This principle is already there at the beginning of the world, when God created man, male and female. Therefore men also women will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they become one flesh. Through the sacrament of marriage, God wanted the union of husband and wife are each other happy union with one another. So bahagialah husband and wife who lived marriage to build mutually provide solid protection, staring at each other with each other as a person of value, each presenting friendliness and gentleness and mutual life into drugs.

Item contemplation.
If we examine the marital life of celebrities on television, maybe we'll be surprised and concerned at the same time. Why is it so easy divorce? Is divorce always be the best solution to solve problems arising in the family? Is not divorce will only create new problems especially for children? In situations where divorce becomes an easy way to solve the problem, then the Catholic families were invited to testify about the spirit of Love, Loyalty, Forgiveness. In this spirit the Catholic married couple maintain dignity and sanctity of the Sacrament of Marriage.

Prayer.
Yes benevolent God, help us thy people, to faithfully live the commitments which we have spoken in daily living. Either commitment to become husband and wife, became a monk nuns, or the commitment to be your true disciple. Amen.

Reading the Liturgy of Thursday, February 23, 2017
PW S. Polycarp, Bishop and Martyr

First reading Sir 5: 1-8
Do not rely on your wealth, and do not say, "It's enough for me."
Hearts and strength do not kauturuti to apply in accordance with your desires. Do not say, "Who's power over me?" My point is, God will punish you hard. Do not say, "Yes, I have sinned, but did happen to me because God's heart long." Do not think forgiveness is assured, so that you are storing sin after sin. Do not say, "Mercy of God is great. Dosaku that many have certainly forgiven him." Because compassion is no God but also fury was upon him, and his fury down upon the wicked. Do not procrastinate to repent to God, do not kautangguhkan from day to day. Because suddenly erupted wrath of God, and you perish at the time penalty.
Do not believe in wealth gained unjustly, because on a bad day would not be useful at all.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 1: 1-2.3.4.6
Blessed are those who rely on God.
* Blessed are those who do not walk in the counsel of the wicked, who does not stand in the way of sinners, and who does not sit in the set of scoffers;
but the favorite is the law of God, and meditate day and night.
* He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which produces fruit in its season, and never wither; what he doeth shall prosper.
* Not so the wicked are like chaff in the wind.
For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Introduction to the Gospel 1 Thessalonians 2:13
Embrace the Word of God, not as the word of men, but as the word of God.

Gospel reading Mark 9: 41-50
One day Jesus said to the disciples of His, "Whoever gave you drink water cup because you are a follower of Christ, he will not lose his reward. If anyone causes one of the little ones who believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it is better to lose with a hand terkudung enter into life, rather than with intact both hands fall into hell, into the unquenchable fire. And if foot offend thee, cut it is better to lose with legs crippled to enter into life, than having two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes and be thrown into hell, where their worm does not die carcasses and fire never goes out. Because everyone will be salted with fire. Salt is good! But if salt becomes tasteless, with what will you season it? Let you always have salt in yourselves and always live in peace one with another. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Quite often we are busy arguments about the criteria for a kind person. The result so NATO (No Acton Talk Only). What are you doing to bother with the definition? Restoring lost people to the right path, giving a sip of water to the thirsty and smile to each other is also an act of generosity, said Mahomet.
Jesus said: "Whoever gave you drink water cup because you are a follower of Christ, he will not lose his reward." It means the people to be friendly and willing to help disciple of Jesus' disciples who actively preach the gospel will receive his reward. They will have a place in the hearts pupils and students through the students they will be combined and be with Jesus in Heaven. the students will be a blessing for those people who behave well towards mereka.Namun Jesus also reminds students of the dangers of deception. they will be punished if the cause of the faithful weak, poorly educated and often underestimated, sin and abandon his faith / apostasy. They not only will be discharged into the sea, as is done by the Roman authorities against the rebels, but his neck will also be a great millstone fastened. Therefore, if the hand,
Foot and eye causes people to sin, cut and cukil only. For better enter into the kingdom of God eternal life with hands and feet butts blind eye rather than with hands, feet and eyes intact hell. The point of physical life is not worth more than eternal life. But it does not mean that Jesus wants people to make herself physically handicapped, because of physical disability alone does not guarantee people stop sinning,

Item contemplation.
Jesus demanded that people stop all the activities that make him innocent. He requested that his followers have the spirit of sacrifice, self-denial and to live in peace with each other. This is the meaning that has salt in her. Therefore, as followers of Christ we must dare to leave the habit or bad tempers are misleading themselves and others.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, and set them aside keep our dirty words and deeds we are misleading, so that we become a blessing for others. Amen.

Feast of the Throne S. Peter, the Apostle

First Reading 1 Peter 5: 1-4
Dear brothers and sisters, as friends elder and a witness of Christ's sufferings, which also will share in the glory that will be revealed later, I exhort the elders among you: Feed the flock of God which is in you, do not be forced, but voluntary in accordance with God's will, and not because they want to make a profit, but with devotion. Or do you act as if you want to rule over those entrusted to you, but be ye be an example to the flock. Then, when the Chief Shepherd comes, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 23: 1-3.4.5.6
Lord my Shepherd, I will not lack.
* God my shepherd, I will not lack. He laid me on the green pastures. He guides me beside quiet waters, and refresh me.
He guides me in paths straight, for the sake of his holy name.
* Even walking in the dark valley, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me. Stick your pasture, they comfort me.
* You provide the dish for me, in the presence of all mine enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
* Willingness and Thy mercy accompany me in my life. I will dwell in the house of the Lord of all time.

Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew 16:18
You are Peter, on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail.

Gospel reading Matthew 16: 13-19
On one occasion Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi. He asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man?" They replied, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." Then Jesus asked them, "But who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered,
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!" Jesus said to him,
"Blessed are you Simon son of Jonah, for not a man who declared it to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say unto you:
You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church,
and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. To you I will give the keys to the kingdom. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Today is the Feast of the Throne of St. Peter. We often hear about the Holy See. Various documents of the Church is always associated with the teachings of the Holy See. If there are new rules or norms of socialization in the liturgy for example, we always connect from the Holy See. Who is the Holy See? Holy See Pope pointed to the throne another term yes throne of St. Peter which we celebrate today. Takta celebration of the feast of St. Peter or the Holy See is not to glorify the position or positions of the Holy Father or Pope in Rome. This celebration is precisely the expression of gratitude to God for the gift of the Church that is one and holy, that should be spread throughout the world, united by the Holy Father whose symbol O Holy See.
Despite occupying the Throne, the connotation pointed position of the king, the Church remains understand sacred for Pope's throne, or the throne of the bishop in each diocese as a form of pastoral ministry that spirit depicted in the first reading today. The shepherds who sit on the throne of this service must serve voluntarily, devotion and dare to be an example to the flock. Being a role model is a very difficult thing because it dares to be the first-round, especially in the spirit of sacrifice, purity and service.

Reflections grains.
Let us be grateful for our shepherds, In particular we pray for the Holy Father entrusted with the task instead of St. Peter by the Lord Jesus entrusted the keys to the kingdom. Pope was the one who unites the whole Church in the world. We also need to pray for the bishops and priests. Church leaders are probably many weaknesses and perhaps we the people are often disappointed to them, but let us respect the "throne" or chairs ministry those who somehow remain chaste as given by the Lord Jesus to them.

Prayer.
Yes God is merciful, give power to the shepherds thy to remain faithful pastoral duties. amen

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (TUESDAY 21 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Tuesday, February 21, 2017
PF S. Peter Damian, bishop and Doctor of the Church

First reading Sir 2: 1-11
My son, if you want to serve the Lord, preparing to face temptation always have your answer. And be and brave. Do not be anxious at times unfortunate. Berpautlah to God, do not turn away from Him, that you may be upheld at the end of your life. Just accept whatever happens to you
and be patient in everything kehinaanmu change. Because gold is tested in the fire, but the man who loved the Lord tested in the arena of insults. Trust God then he moved on to ignore thee, Flatten your ways and hope in Him. You who fear the Lord wait patiently for His mercy and do not deviate, so you do not fall. You who fear the Lord, trust in Him, surely you will not lose the reward. You who fear the Lord, expect a good, eternal joy and mercy. Think of the force that has-been, and consider: God ever disappoint those who hope in him? Did God abandon those who diligently cautious? Did God ever ignores the people who call on him?
Indeed, God is loving and merciful. He forgives sins and saves in time of adversity.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 37: 3-4.18-19.27-28.39-40
Entrust your life to God, and he will act.
* Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and act faithfully; Delight thyself also in the Lord; He will fulfill the desire of your heart.
* The Lord knows the godly life, and their heritage will remain forever; they will not be ashamed when hit by grave,
and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
* Stay away from evil and do good, then you have a place to stay that is eternal; because God loves the truth, and not leave those whom he loved. Those who do evil will perish and the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
* The righteous will be saved by God; He is their refuge in times of trouble; God helps and rescues them from the hands of the wicked; God save them, because they take refuge in him.

Introduction to Gospel Gal 6:14
No one is proud of, in addition to the Lord's Cross. Hence the world crucified to me, and I to the world.

Gospel reading Mark 9: 30-37
One day Jesus and his disciples across the Galilee. He did not want anyone to know, because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, "The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him. But three days after being killed, he will rise." They do not understand the words, but reluctant to ask Jesus. Then Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum. Once inside the house
Jesus asked his disciples, "What are you perbincangkan had been on the road?"
But they were silent, for on the way they had been disputing
who was the greatest among them. Then he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, "If anyone wants to be first,
he shall be last of all and be the servant of all. "
Jesus then took a child into their midst. Then he hugged the boy and said to them, "Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, accepts me. And whoever receives me,
I'm actually not that they receive, but He who sent me. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
The debate about who seem to frequently occur in human life, a person who considers himself stronger, smarter, richer than the others. Because everyone feels superior to the other, then there is unfair competition, which even continued to brawl, civil war and others. It seems that rarely people fighting to be servants, but prefer to be a leading man who always served, who always want to be respected. No wonder that people prefer to attend ate of the social event. Mentality is certainly very contrary to the Gospel.
On this day Jesus very well teach us about this. We are told to be humble and be a waiter is ready to accept anyone whether a small, marginalized, the destitute, and those who are considered influential by the community. We raced the race to be servants to others, to help others who are helpless, to comfort those who are desperate. We must be prepared to accept they were very neglected by society. Premises in doing so, we're the largest among all there.
How does our attitude toward others who are suffering, who is excluded, who are considered the dregs of society? Are we ready only served others? Or we just ready to serve certain people? Or ready to serve anyone in need?

Item contemplation.
The temptation was also overshadowing the disciples thought Jesus' disciples. Who was the greatest among them two of twelve? Along the way they crowded gossip about it. When Jesus was asked about what is in question, they are silent. How sad heart of the Master. He has just revealed to His disciples about the risk of a struggle - his in proclaiming the Kingdom of God, the arrested, persecuted and brutally murdered, however, the students seem to be more interested in worldly temptations, who was the greatest among them.
Faced with such a situation, Jesus then gave this teaching: "If someone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and the servant of the all" The paradox is exacerbated by Jesus by showing a child who is often overlooked. "Whoever receives one child such as this in my name welcomes me. And whoever welcomes me, instead I were a welcome one, but him that sent me, "
The teaching of Jesus is quite contrary to the ambition and mentality of the disciples of Jesus who lack his reason, and therefore do not understand the purpose statement of Jesus. In the midst of today's modern world, we are still faced with the question of "who is the greatest" in life menggereja. This temptation can make us neglect the duty and our calling as disciples of Jesus. Should every time the temptation arises, we looked back at Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross as a servant.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, and teach us Your people become your waiter, waitress neighbor and take away from us the desire to be served, and mampukanlah us to be humble and have the spirit of service is like you that our acceptance before You. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (MONDAY 20 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Monday, February 20, 2017

First Reading Sir 1: 1-10
All wisdom comes from God and in Him there for - ever.
Who can count the sand at the beach, the water droplets of rain, or the days of the ages? Who can guess the high sky, the breadth of the earth, inside the ocean or it wisdom? Wisdom was created before everything,
and the understanding of the prudent since time immemorial. To whom is the base of wisdom been revealed, and who knew all his wits? The only wise, very thrilling, namely The rest upon His throne.
God alone who created wisdom. He sees it as well membilangnya. His creation He is filled with wisdom. Every creature accept a gift from God. He distributed them to those who love Him.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 93: 1ab.1c-2.5
The Lord is King, He is clothed splendor.
* The Lord is King, He is dressed splendor, and kekuatanlah his belt.
* Indeed, have tegaklah world, is no longer wobbly. Thy throne upright since time immemorial,
Thou art from everlasting.
* Regulation of thy very firm; your temple beauty of holiness, O Lord,
all the time!

Introduction to Gospel 2 Timothy 1: 10b
Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, has destroyed death, and illuminate life with the Gospel.

Gospel reading Mark 9: 14-29
One day Jesus and Peter, James and John, came down from the mountain,
then back to the other pupils. They saw a great multitude of the disciples, and scribes arguing with them.
When looking at Jesus, the crowds were amazed and ran to greet Him. Jesus then asked them, "What are you persoalkan with them?" Said one of the crowd, "Teacher, my son brought you possessed by a spirit that makes him mute. Whenever the spirit was attacked, my son slammed to the ground. Then foaming at the mouth, teeth grinds, and his body becomes rigid. I've asked to thy disciples,
so they cast it, but they could not. "Jesus said to them," O you unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me! "Then they brought him to Jesus. And when the spirit saw him,
immediately threw the boy into a convulsion, and the boy was thrown on the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth. Then Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he had this?" He replied, "From childhood!
Often the spirit him into the fire or into water to destroy him. Therefore, if you can do anything, help us and have mercy on us. "Jesus replied," You said, 'If you can?' Nothing is impossible for those who believe! "Immediately the boy's father shouted," I believe! Please, I do not believe this! "When Jesus saw that more people were gathering, Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, hard, saying," O you spirits that cause people to become mute and deaf, I command you, come out of this child , and never enter him again! "so the spirit was screaming and shook him with great. the boy looked like a dead man, so many people say," he is dead. "But Jesus took his hand and woke him, and he got itself. When Jesus was in the house, and his disciples alone with him,
ask them, "Why could not we cast it out?" Jesus answered,
"This kind can come out except by prayer."
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Afterthought
The disciples could not cast out demons in Jesus because of this kind can only be driven out by prayer. Jesus showed brtapa importance of prayer in our lives. True prayer containing the tremendous power to transform the impossible into possible. For that we can not rely on our own strength, but we have to include the Lord in any plans, expectations, decisions and actions in life. We invite God to take an active part in everything that we do. We do not need to know what decisions will be taken of the Lord, but at least we have the good will to always consult with him. This is an act of faith, let God take an active role in and through us, which in turn will change our lives gradually And this is actually the core / essence of prayer.
Prayer is a tangle of intimate relationship and stay with God, a relationship like two lovebirds who fell in love. There is no love, mutual trust, open, self-giving in full without reservation. Thus, the words, not the most important prayer formula, let alone used the word mantra, prayer Strength lies not in the formulation of the words he said, but at a depth of relationships, faith, hope and love of God himself.
The prophet Isaiah reminds us that enhance our prayer with God's Word. Word of God is like the rain and the snow come down from heaven and will not return to the sky again, but water the earth and make it fertile, and grow growing herbs, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater.
What about our prayer life? Of course we never experienced that answered prayer right there, or maybe there were not fulfilled. Stop for a moment, and try to find things what made our prayer be fulfilled or not fulfilled? Which as far as the depth of our relationship with God?

Item contemplation.
An understanding of the demons, sickness, calamity, disaster, or anything negative things that happen to a person developed in accordance with the progress of science. In Jesus' time the diseased epilepsy as we hear right on today's Gospel reading is regarded as demon possession. "Teacher, I brought my son to you, because he is possessed by a spirit dumb. Each time it strikes my spirits slammed to the ground. Foaming at the mouth, teeth berkeretakan, his body becomes rigid. I have been asked to the students, in order to cast it, but they did not succeed "
In the current era, this kind of disease will surely be treated medically .. But many facts in the equivalent mass, the prayer of the prayer. in the petition place shrine that people still pray to God to get involved in their grief. What is wrong if we as Christians beg in God in obtaining sustenance, rejecting evil, the disasters of diseases and disorders that are not expected. If you want to be called a runaway so-so, but run a positive.
Measures to rely on God as it is in the first reading, the action was called wisdom and the wisdom that comes from God. "All wisdom comes from God and dwells with Him forever. Only one wise, very thrilling one that dwells on His throne "

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, we teach your people to always be grateful and go into our hearts and guide our spirit to pray properly. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SUNDAY FEBRUARY 19, 2017)

Reading the Liturgy of February 19, 2017

First Reading Leviticus 19: 1-2.17-18
The Lord said to Moses, "Speak to all the congregation of Israel, and say to them: Be ye holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy.
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt rebuke thy neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself! I am the Lord. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 103: 1-2.3-4.8.10.12-13
God is merciful and compassionate.
* Praise the Lord, O my soul! Praise his holy name, all ye within me!
Praise the Lord, O my soul, forget not all his benefits will!
* He who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases! He who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion!
* The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He never treated us deserves our sins, or reward us deserves our fault.
* As far as the east is from the west, so our transgressions dumped him.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear God.

Second Reading 1 Corinthians 3: 16-23
Brethren, note earnestly, that ye are the temple of God,
and that God's Spirit dwells in you. If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple. Let no man deceive himself. If anyone among you who thinks he is wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he is really wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their craftiness."
And elsewhere written, "The Lord knows the wise designs.
Really, everything is in vain. "Therefore, let no one glory in men, for all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. everything was yours. But you belong to Christ,
and Christ is God's.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to the Gospel 1 Jn 2: 5
Who obeys the word of Christ, in him the love of God has been perfected.

Gospel reading Matthew 5: 38-48
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said to His disciples, "Ye have heard that there used to be an expression eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. But I tell you, 'Do not fight against those who do evil to you.
Conversely, if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the left cheek. If one wants to sue you and take your tunic, give your cloak as well.
When you are forced to deliver someone to go one mile, go with him twain. Give to a man what he wants, and do not reject people who want to borrow something from you. ' You have heard it said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, 'Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Because then you may be the children of your Father in heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil and for the good. Rain was lowered him to the righteous, and also for people who are not true. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Is not publicans also do so? And if you only greet your brothers only, if the excess of the actions of others?
Are not people who do not know God do that much? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Today Jesus teaches us to love your enemy. This teaching seems absurd, does not love always have a place in the relations between family members, between friends and between them we prefer?
Love makes us able to personally call out myself as father, mother, sister or friend. Conversely when love was replaced by hatred, it becomes an enemy of personal private. Therefore, we would ask, "How is it possible to attribute the" love "with" the enemy "? Are they not contradictory. But that does not mean they are not related to each other. For if because of love anyone can call himself beyond personal friend, it is not possible for you, the enemies turn into friends.
Through today's Gospel, Jesus was about to show us another dimension of love. Love is not just a condition or requirement to establish relationships with friends and the people we care about. But in love there is a power and a force capable of changing the people hostile, vengeful each other, hurt each other, persecute or betray be getting along back.
One way to love your enemy as we have heard in today's Gospel reading, by praying for them. Indeed, if just pray only that easy, but if the enemy do pray with all your heart, we will find great difficulty, because it means blessed pray to God for him. Praying enemy means ask blessings, mercy and the goodness of God for the person whose conduct is precisely not bless us.
After all pray for the enemy is not enough, for they actually love one's enemies need to demonstrate a clear stand in front of each other. That is why Jesus said that we need to greet, greet and smile. No matter whether it's an act of love will be rewarded with love or not, but the important thing is that we have tried to love that person.
How happy if we live with love, no hostility, so everywhere will find a friend. We try to be perfect, to be humble, to achieve the objectives of our life of Jesus Christ, the Perfection. With repent, renew themselves from day to day, we direct your life in perfection. Perfectly, our identity secitra / likeness of God, manifested.

Item contemplation.
Today we witnessed a lot of violence fueled by resentment of each other. People understand that violence should be rewarded violence, so that it can be a continuous source of problems. Many groups clashed at the expense of others. In the middle of a situation like that Jesus calls us to show compassion visible in forgiveness, acceptance and devotion to others. Compassion encourages us to do something does not first of all for its own sake, but for the good of others.
One sign for us that we are disciples of Christ is baptized. We already have a Christian name as a sign that we are disciples of Christ should also live according to the law of the New Testament.
The question is whether we really have come to realize the meaning of our Christian name? With the baptismal name is usually the name of the saint, we should live according to the law of the New Testament, which is generous and forgiving.

Prayer.
O Lord, help us thy people, to be perfect. Thus, we can image of Thee as you want in our creation. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SATURDAY 18 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Saturday, February 18, 2017
First Reading Heb 11: 1-7
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For it is by faith had given testimony to our ancestors. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that what we see has happened from what we can not see. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. By which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts, and through faith he still speaks, though he is dead. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death, and he was not found, because God took him. For before he was lifted, he obtained witness that he was pleasing to God. But without faith it is impossible to please God. Because anyone who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. By faith Noah, being warned - by God about things not yet seen - with fear, prepared an ark to save his family; by the which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Psalm Ps 145: 2-3.4-5.10-I1
Every day I will bless thee, and wanted to glorify thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is not unexpected. Forces for the sake of generation shall praise thy works, and will proclaim thy might.
Lively thy great glory and deeds wondrous will sing.

Gospel reading Mark 9: 2-13
One day Jesus was talking about how he will suffer. After that he took Peter, James and John, and together they went up to a high mountain. There, they were all alone. And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became very white flashing. Nobody in this world
capable bleaches such clothes. Then appeared to them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus. Then Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, how happy we are here.
Let us make three tents: one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah. "Peter said this, because do not know what to say, because they were terrified. Then a cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud came a voice," This is my beloved Son, listen to Him. "And suddenly, when looking around they no longer saw anyone but Jesus alone. At the time they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded,
so they do not they told anyone what they had seen, before the Son of Man rose from the dead.
They hold the message while questioning them
what is meant by "rising from the dead." Then they asked Jesus, "Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?" Jesus answered, "Elijah does indeed come first and restore all things. But how the Son of Man? How is it written that he should suffer many things and be despised? But I tell you, Elijah has come
and people treat him according to their will, in accordance with what is written about him. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Devotional.
Hebrew letter which was read at Mass today said that faith is of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith does make us capable of always hope because we believe that God will never leave us alone. But what is the meaning of faith as the evidence of things not seen? In the movie "Quo Vadis" early Christians demonstrated courage when facing death for their faith and serve the food of wild animals. It happened at the stadium Nero, as the spectacle of the people. Christians are already at the threshold of martyrdom does not become frightened, by contrast, they valiantly even sing songs of praise to God. Incredible scenery was stunning for many spectators. When the Christians prove that death bakanlah scary thing because they believe that God does exist and the source of their strength.
When a believer testifying to his faith, in fact he was testifying about his God. God is honored and is expressed through the human life of faith. (Latin: Gloria dei homo vivens).
In the Gospel told how Jesus was transfigured on the mountain. The disciples saw the glory of the divine with the prophet Elijah and Moses. No statement from heaven that Jesus is the Son of God's beloved. Peter felt a great happiness and wanted to stay on the mountain. But after the incident. Jesus invites the disciples to go down the mountain. The disciples came to testify about their faith diduniadan not stay on the mountain for a heavenly bliss. So we are also called to give the same testimony of Jesus is noble to assert his love to mankind by passion and death and resurrection testimony of faith that must be done amid the real world.
A boy has a male sheep. Once the sheep of his favorite play around and jump and down in joy in the undergrowth of brambles. Unexpectedly bush s favorite jatuhkedalam the thorn bush. Lamb's body was a little sore and bleeding. The boy cried and asked his father rose bush thorns cut down it, because it has hurt his beloved sheep, but his father sat him beside her, not too far from the bush. Then a little bird flew and perched above the thorny bush. And mempersonakan him with melodious chirp. Then the little bird to collect feathers duru ram caught in the thorn bush. Then fly while carrying her kesarangnya.
When Peter had an incredible experience, which made him feel happy, he wants to set up camp with Jesus so that they still feel happiness However, Jesus did not want His disciples if students live within the establishment, and much of the suffering of others. Jesus wanted them to leave immediately from Mount Tabor, and down to experience situations of suffering along with others. One of the message of Jesus from His decision was to go down the mountain are the students must be willing to suffer for others, as to which later alami.Yesus Jesus wanted his disciples to be like a sheep pet of a child in the story above, that the hair feathers nest for the little bird, though he must be willing to suffer wounds and bleeding, As followers of Christ we too have to be, namely suffering and always willing to sacrifice for others.

Prayer.
O Lord, teach us to share our happiness kepad others and suffered for our compatriots. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (FRIDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Friday, February 17 2017PF Seventh Holy Brothers, founder of the Order of Servants of Mary

First Reading Genesis 11: 1-9
As for the whole earth, one language and the same. So they went to the east and encountered flat ground in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. They said to one another, "Let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They had brick for stone, and tar for mortar.
Then they said, "Come, let us build us a city and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make a name, lest we be scattered all over the earth." Then there came the Lord to see the city and the tower which the sons of men, and He said: "They are one people with one language for everything. It's just the beginning of their business; from now on whatever they want, no that would not be possible. Let us go down and confuse their language, so that they no longer understand each other's language. " So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth, and from there the Lord scattered them all over the earth.

Psalm Ps 33: 10-11.12-13.14-15
God thwarted plans of the nations;
He negates the draft tribes; but God's plan remain forever, the design of his heart to all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, tribes, whom he chose to be his own!
God looked down from heaven, he sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he consider all the inhabitants of the earth. He is forming their hearts all, are paying attention to their work.

Gospel reading Mark 8: 34-9: 1
On one occasion Jesus called the crowd and his disciples,
and said to them, "If any man will come after me,
must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it;
but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's,
he will save his life. What good is a gain the whole world, but he lost his life. What can a man give in exchange for his life? If anyone is ashamed of me and of my words in the middle of this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him
when he comes in the glory of his Father, accompanied by the holy angels. "Jesus said to them again," I tell you; Indeed, among the people present here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
A man complained to our Lord endured the cross is too heavy. Then God brought him to pilot a cross shop. "Now, take the cross where you like" Then the man entered the store and put a crucifix on the wall. Inwardly he said, "Now the opportunity for me. This is the time that has been long awaited. If you must cross, then I would choose the cross that is lightweight and suitable for me "He was trying to cross the cross to find the perfect fit for him. There is a cross that was too long, so that dragged on the ground. There were too short so making him stumble. The others are too light so that the wind and something else too heavy, injuring his shoulder. He almost gave up and saw one cross leaning against the wall. He tried it, bringing her little berlajan and face God with a smile, saying, "This is the cross. This is what I have long been looking for "Then, with a smile of the Lord said to him" I am glad that you like the cross. That's the first cross that you bring in.
In today's Gospel Jesus tells his disciples to follow Him requisite requirements. One of the requirements to follow Him is willing to carry the cross - his. This requirement is not an option for the students, but rather a necessity. As followers of Christ, we also have an obligation to bear our cross, respectively. God gave the cross to us in accordance with our respective capabilities. Then there is no one who fails to follow Christ just as his cross was too heavy and beyond his ability.

Item contemplation.
Lust and desire of man that has the same characteristics, always wanted to add on, add on, alias greedy. Which already has a "bicycle" (bicycle pedal) want motorcycle. Then have a motorcycle, he wanted to have a car even though the former. Then have a used car, he wanted the new car, thanks gratitude sedan costly and so forth. Or who had ever go on an excursion to the south coast, ya want to the north coast. Once completed visited the north coast, he wanted to go to the west and east coasts. then out of the country, was around Southeast Asia, then to the countries of Asia, and even Europe and America, and so on.
Passions and desires of human beings who want added continuously it was already owned since the first human man first, as told in the first reading today. The story of the Tower of Babel is actually an expression of human tendencies that wish to acquire all and sundry, even if I have wanted to match God. Make a tower whose top will reach the heavens means that people want to emulate God's power. And that's a sin. That is the sin of pride and greed. So God to confuse human language, so that people strewn across the earth and willing to learn humility of having to learn any language of his neighbor.
Gospel proclaims salvation which is exactly opposite to the sins of pride and greed. Road safety is the path to follow Jesus that the conditions actually deny themselves, take up the cross, following Jesus is the willingness to dare to lose his life for Jesus. This is what the law of the Kingdom of God. If we want all to have, we will lose the life. However, if we are willing to let go and empty ourselves for Christ's sake, we actually get the true life abundant.

Prayer.
My God, mampukanlah us to be faithful to our cross each in following the trail and road - Mu. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (THURSDAY 16 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy of Thursday, February 16, 2017

First Reading Genesis 9: 1-13
Then God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.
Will be afraid and will shake you every beast of the earth and all the birds of the air, everything that moves on the earth, and all the fish in the sea; into tanganmulah everything was delivered. Every moving thing that lives shall be food. I have given it all to you as well as greenery. Only flesh with its life, namely his blood, you shall not eat. But the blood on you, the lives of you, I will demand an accounting from every beast I will require it and from each man I will require the life of man. Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in His own image. And you, be fruitful and multiply, so countless in number on the earth, yes, multiply on it. "God said to Noah and to his sons that together with him:" Behold, I establish my covenant with you and with descendants, and with every living creature that is with you: birds, cattle and wild animals of the earth which, together with you, all that came out of the ark, every beast of the earth. Then I will establish my covenant with you, that since no one be cut off by flood again, and there will be no flood to destroy the earth. "And God said:" This is the sign of the covenant that I will make between me and you and every living creature, that together with you, to all generations, for ever:
I put my bow in the cloud, so that it becomes a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

Psalm Ps 102: 16-18.19-21.29.22-23
God looked down from heaven to earth.
* The nations fear will be the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory, if you already build up Zion, and manifest themselves in thy glory; when you listen to the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
* Let this be written for another generation, and the nations that will be created later praise the Lord for He has looked down from his holy place, God looked down from heaven to earth,
to listen to the complaints of the prisoners, to release those who are determined to be dead.
* Children thy servants will live in safety, and their offspring will remain in your presence. so that the name of the Lord in Zion, and he praised in Jerusalem, when the nation gathered together
and the kingdoms assemble to worship God.

Gospel reading Mark 8: 27-33
One day Jesus and his disciples went to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his disciples, "Who do people say I am?" The disciples answered, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, others say: one of the prophets." Jesus asked them, "But do you think I am?" Then Peter answered, "You are the Messiah!" And he ordered them to hard, not to tell anyone about him.
He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things. He will be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and rise after three days. It is said this openly. Peter took Jesus aside and rebuked him. So turn Jesus and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, "Get behind me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
We must admit that we humans are eating everything. Try it, what we eat. Of the types of vegetables, various kinds of leaves late, various kinds of animals even cobra else, all we eat. Banyakdari we also enjoyed the fish, either freshwater fish, sea, or brackish. Moreover, eating sea food ,,,, ouch delish. More palatable way, already matched his diet, cooking miroso (very tasty), do not pay anymore, Well, that's heaven on earth.
The word of God to Noah in the first reading today confirms that all the moving and living should be our food, ie plants and all the animals. Of course, if the animal is still alive, then do not eat. Later it we were bitten by the animal. Allah said: "Only flesh with its life, namely his blood, you do not eat" In other words, even if the entire contents of nature, especially all kinds of plants and animals may be utilized for the life of us, we even know of procedures, ethical. That governance environments must we do in order to remain sustainable.
Nature is not seriously damaged our environment now? Many hunters and shooters bird damage bird populations in many protected areas. Waste plant waste dumped in the river so that people lacked clean water .The most people smoke is much more haphazard. Everywhere smoke, but not around a lot of children and people who do not smoke? What they should also bear the smoke unhealthy? Sensitivity of the environment preserving nature today feels really just more blunt.

Prayer
O Lord, make us leaders for ourselves, which is always submissive and obedient to your will in all things. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 15, 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Reading First Gen 8: 6-13.20-22
After forty days, Noah opened the window he had made in the ark. Then he sent out a raven; and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. Then Noah sent out a dove to see if the waters had receded from the earth. But the dove did not get a foothold legs and he returned back to get Noah into the ark, because of all the earth, there is still water; and Noah reached out and caught the bird and brought it into the ark. He waited seven more days and then sent out the dove from the ark; towards the evening the dove returned to get Noah, and carrying in its beak a fresh olive leaf. Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. Furthermore waited another seven days and then sent out the dove, but the bird was not returned to him. In the six hundred years, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the water was dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and look around; that the surface of the ground was dry.
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord; of every clean animal and of every clean bird took some tail, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. When the Lord smelt fragrant offering it, the Lord spake in his heart: "I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth, and I will not destroy again every living creature as I have done. While the earth still, will not cease sowing season and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night. "

Psalm Ps 116: 12-13.14-15.18-19
How will repay to the Lord all the good things upon me?
I will raise the cup of salvation, and will call on the name of the Lord, will pay my vows to the Lord in front of all his people.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. will pay my vows to the Lord before all his people, in the courts of the house of the Lord, in your midst, O Jerusalem! Hallelujah!

Gospel reading Mark 8: 22-26
One day Jesus and his disciples arrived at Bethsaida. Some people brought to him a blind man, and they begged him to touch him. Jesus then took the blind man and led him out of the village.
Then he spat in the eye of the blind, and put a hand on it. He asked, "Do you see anything?" The man looked up and said,
"I see people! I see them walking around, but it seems like trees walking." He then placed his hands on the man's eyes again. Then that person seriously look and has been healed, so that he could see everything clearly. And Jesus sent him home to his house and said, "Do not go into the village!"
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Everyone has pain, whether sick or unwell. Human healing process of the pain can also be slow or fast. Today's Gospel tells of Jesus healing the blind man at Bethsaida. How Jesus healed the blind man terkasan somewhat unique, where Jesus spat on his eyes and put his hand over it, and asked, "Do you see anything? "The blind man said," I see men, for I see them walking the street, but it seems like the trees "Then he again laid his hands on the man's eyes so he can see clearly. Why did not Jesus heal her just once? Why should two times when He has tremendous power. The answer is that Jesus wanted to teach us that everything requires a process. To achieve something that is expected, one must step over step by step.
In this life we often make mistakes or sins that make our fellow wounded hearts and keep us from God and others. But God will never abandon us, God wants to heal us from sin and guilt that we have done it. God does not directly heal the whole. God allowed us to come to Him, repented of sin and confess before him, through the Sacrament of Repentance. Repentance Sacrament because it could be seen as an initial stage for our return improve our relationships with God, others, and creation. Let us come to Jesus graces through the stages of healing intention, regret, and admit mistakes, so that we are freed and cured.

Prayer.
Oh God heal us from all kinds of diseases and the mistakes we have made and we've experienced in life. Amen.

Reading the Liturgy Tuesday, February 14, 2017
PW St. Cyril, monk, and Methodius, bishop

First Reading Genesis 6: 5-8; 7: 1-5.10
God saw that the wickedness of man on earth is getting big,
and the tendency of their hearts was only evil-eye. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth,
and it grieved him at his heart. Speak, Lord, "I will destroy man whom I created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, and the creeping things and birds of the air, for I regret that I have made them."
But Noah found favor with God. Then Speak, God told Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your household, for you have I seen righteous before Me in this generation. Of every clean beast thou shalt take seven pairs, male and female, but of beasts the unclean one, a male and a female; Also of the birds of the air seven pairs, male and female, so terpeliharalah living descendants of all the earth. for yet seven days I will send rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights. I will wipe from the face of the earth
all that exists, that Kujadikan it. "And Noah did all that God commanded him. After seven days the floodwaters engulfed the earth.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 29: 1a.2.3ac-4.3b.9b-10
God bless his people with peace.
* Convey to the Lord, O inhabitants of heaven, say to the Lord the glory of His name, bowed down to the Lord with the beauty of holiness!
* God's voice sounded over the water, God's voice boom over the water which was great. God's voice is powerful, the voice of the Lord full of splendor.
* The glorious God thunders, in his temple everyone shouted, "Hail!" God dwells above the flood, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 14:23
If a man love me, he will obey my word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him.

Gospel reading Mark 8: 14-21
One day the disciples forgot to take bread. Only a course that is in them in the boat. Then Jesus warned them, saying, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod." Then they are thinking, and one said to the other,
"It is because we have no bread." When Jesus knew what they were talking, he said, "Why are you discussing about no bread? Not jugakah you understand and know? Have degilkah your heart? You have eyes, do not you see? And You have ears, do you not hear? Already you forgotten the time I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you pick up? " They answered, "Twelve." "And when the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you pick up?" They answered, "Seven." And Jesus said to them, "Shall you not understand?"
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
I suggest to you, when shopping at the supermarket or supermarket should we bring a written list of groceries. We should avoid, shopping by spontaneity. See goods directly download, you see things interesting, direct download, there we are not thinking in advance, do I need this stuff or not. Yes because it is cheap and attractive download. This is a picture of a person who is easy to fall into the trial, the trial of temptation to buy things we do not necessarily need. Yes, if a lot of money probably does not matter, LHA if the money is limited, we are not able to trouble later on. Or if a lot of money, do not we do not have to spend the money? Do we not think that money is a lot of it is just the grace of God alone that we share with the needy? We can give the money to a scholarship kid who wants to school but can not afford? Or the money we give for donations to various parties that does need?
When people endure his trials, he will receive the crown of life. Temptation could certainly be all sorts of things and forms, temptation may be suffering and pain, but also various temptations to do evil or incorrect. A disciple of Christ invited to resilient, durable, resist the temptation and temptation.

Item contemplation.
In everyday life, people need food to obtain energy that can work well. Then it will be worrying if people do not have anything to eat, Concern was also experienced by the disciples of Jesus' disciples. The students worried about them when the boat in the middle of the journey they have only one piece of bread. It was not enough for them. But what his disciples are known by Jesus. Jesus tried to guide the students to recall the miracle of the multiplication of bread that has been done. Hope Jesus is hopefully their memories can eliminate the worry feeling.
In today's Gospel Jesus invites people to not worry about the state of life that is less, because Jesus knows what we need and He knows what is to be done him. Weakness of faith and doubt in God, often make we could not see all of it.
Today we are reminded not to worry less fortunate circumstances, but always have hope and faith in God's work. We need to dedicate our shortcomings to the Lord and submit to Him our worries. If we ever experienced affluent living conditions, abundant and it was exciting, the state also accept less, anxious and less fun. Essentially away the underlying anxiety of your heart and your trust exaggerated for God's mercy, God is not deaf life of His children.

Prayer.
Yes Lord, He shall strengthen our faith so that we are not too worried and shortcomings that we encounter in this life. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (MONDAY 13 FEBRUARY 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Monday, February 13, 2017

First Reading Genesis 4: 1-15.25
Adam knew Eve, his wife. So the woman conceived and bore Cain; and Eve said, "I've got a boy with the help of God." And she again bare his brother Abel. Abel became a shepherd of sheep, while Cain became a farmer.
After some time, then Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering to the Lord. Abel also offered sacrifices of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat. Then the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering the sacrifice. But Cain and his offering the sacrifice was ignored him. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Word of the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you angry and angry?
Cuisine not your countenance be lifted up, if you do well? But if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. Dosa it desires to have you, but you must master it. "
One day Cain said to Abel, his brother,
"Let us go out to the field." When they were in the field, suddenly Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. Word of the Lord said to Cain,
"Where is Abel your brother?" Cain replied, "I do not know! Am I my brother's keeper?" The word of God also, "What have you done this?
Brother's blood shouted to me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth
to receive your brother's blood from your hand.
When you till the ground, the land will not yield entirely to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth. "Cain Barkatalah to the Lord," My punishment is greater than it can bear. You banish me now from this land, and I will be hidden from your presence, a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth. Whoever finds me will kill me. "The Word of the Lord to him," Certainly not! Whoever kills Cain, he will be rewarded seven times over. "Then the Lord put a mark on Cain, lest he be killed by anyone who met him. Adam knew well his wife. Then the woman gave birth to a son. She named him Seth, for he said, "God has given me another child instead of Abel; because Cain killed him. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 50: 1.8.16bc-17.20-21
Sacrifice of thanksgiving to God as a sacrifice.
* Almighty, the Lord God, spake and summoned the earth, from east to west. Not because the sacrifice you Kuhukum, for burnt offerings always there before me.
* Do that to investigate my statutes, and mention my covenant with your mouth, but you are who hates reproof
and the exclusion of my word?
* You sit and speak ill of your brother, you malign your real brother. That's what you do! What I will not say anything? Do you think I am equal to you? I'm suing you and want to litigate with you.

Gospel reading Mark 8: 11-13
On one occasion the Pharisees came and began to argue with Jesus. To test him, seeking from him a sign from heaven. Sighing then Jesus in my heart and said, "Why does this generation look for a sign? I tell you, Indeed, to this generation never will be marked." Then he left them.
He climbed into the boat and went to the other side.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
First human presence of Jesus amid inevitable amid the elite of challenges and trials. Pharisees are those who often become bullies, once gus feel disturbed by the presence of Jesus. To them Jesus was a big question mark, whether he is God incarnate? Doubts hearts urge them to Jesus gave one sign. But for Jesus and believe in Him should not be indicated by signs, but it is enough to believe in his word and work. Jesus made it clear that he will not give an outward sign of God because He has presented generous as signs. Provide or fulfill everything that was asked by the Pharisees would be very easy to ridicule his presence.
In our everyday life, there are situations that make us act to be like the Pharisees. Illness and life laden with problems in turns encourages us to ask where is God. We ask God to keep us from disease and to address the issue of our lives resolved easily. But it often does not happen because the Lord acted according to what He wills. Today's Gospel tells us to have true faith will be everything that happens in our lives is the operation of the Divine. There are so many signs of God in our lives, but why we are asking for a bigger sign from the signs we have received it. Let us enlarge our faith with increasingly realize that our life is a sign of God pernyelenggaraan.

Prayer.
O Jesus, have mercy on us because often we also become like the Pharisees because our prayers are not answered. Amen.

Reading the Liturgy of the Sunday, February 12, 2017

First reading Sir 15: 15-20
Origin really want, you can keep the law, and apply setiapun can choose. Fire and water have been put God in front of you, to what can kaukehendaki kauulurkan hand. Life and death is in front of the man, what is selected will be given to him. Really great is the wisdom of God. He was strong in his power and see everything. God's eyes are upon the righteous to Him.
And all the work of man he knew. God does not send people became wicked, and did not give permission to anyone to sin.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 119: 1-2.4-5.17-18.33-34
Blessed are those who walk in the law of God.
* Blessed are those whose life is blameless, who walk in the law of God. Blessed are those who hold the warnings of his, who seek Him with all their heart.

* Hold up to me, O Lord, instructions thy statutes, I will hold it until the last moment. Give me understanding, and I will hold thy law; with all my heart I want to preserve it.

Second Reading 1 Corinthians 2: 6-10
Ladies and Gentlemen, we proclaim the wisdom among those who have matured, not the wisdom of this world, and not the wisdom of the rulers of this world, the rulers who will be eliminated, but the wisdom of God is hidden and secret, before creation of the world God has made available for our glory. None of the rulers of this world who knew him, because if only they knew, they did not crucify the Lord of glory. But as it is written, "What had not been seen by the eye, and was never heard by the ears, and that never arises in the human heart:
What God has prepared for those who love Him. "All that has been expressed to us by God blessing His Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even things that are hidden in God.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew 11:25
I am grateful to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because everything hast revealed them unto the simple.

Gospel reading Matthew 5: 17-37
In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus taught His disciples said to him,
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you, 'Really, until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle
will pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. '
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the commandments of the Torah even the smallest, and teaches it to others, he will be called least in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches all the commandments of the Torah, he shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven. So I tell you, unless your righteousness no more true than in the religious lives of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. You have heard that it was said to our ancestors: Thou shalt not kill; whoever murders will be punished. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be punished! Whoever says to his brother, 'Infidel!' he should be brought before the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, 'Jahil!' shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore,
if you bring your gift to the altar, and you are thinking of something that is in your brother against you, leave your gift before the altar, and go first to make peace with your brother, and then come back to bring your gift to that. Immediately reconciled with your opponent for you together with him on the way, so that the opponent not deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the maid, and you be thrown into prison. I tell you the truth, you will never get out of there,
until you have paid the last penny. You have heard it said, 'Do not commit adultery!' But I tell you: Whoever looks at a woman with desire, she has committed adultery in his heart. So, if your right eye causes you to sin,
tear it out and throw it away, because it is better to lose one thy members should perish, rather than the whole body be thrown into hell.
And if thy right hand offend thee, cut them off,
It is better to lose one thy members should perish, rather than whole body go into hell. It was said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, he must provide a certificate of divorce. But I tell you: 'Whoever divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, he made his wife commit adultery. And whoever marries a divorced woman, he commits adultery. Ye have heard that it was spoken to our ancestors, 'Do not swear falsely,
but fulfill your vows in front of God. ' But I tell you, 'Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, nor by the earth, because the earth is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
Similarly do not swear by your head, for you can not whiten or blacken a single hair. If yes, you shall say: Yes, if not, you shall say: No.
What is more than these cometh of evil. "
Such is the Word of God.

This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew:
In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus taught His disciples said to him, If your righteousness is not more true than in the religious lives of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. You have heard that it was said to our ancestors: Thou shalt not kill; whoever murders will be punished. But I tell you: 'Everyone who is angry with his brother shall be punished! 'You have heard it said,' Do not commit adultery! ' But I tell you: 'Whoever looks on a woman with desire, she has committed adultery in his heart.' You have heard that what was spoken to our ancestors,
'Do not swear falsely, but fulfill your vows in front of God.'
But I tell you, 'Do not swear at all!
If yes, you shall say: Yes, if not, you shall say: No. What is more than these cometh of evil. "

Devotional.
Word of God today is one of Jesus' Sermon on the hill that is about the business of sanctifying life (including marriage) radical with not commit adultery.
The teaching of Jesus that does not allow divorce, except for immorality (ay32), actually shows two fundamental things about life and marriage
First, that the marriage was in fact alive and sacred. Because it is not just any holy do divorce.
Second, that adultery is a sin. That is why Jesus asked that the solution had to be radical. That is, it should start from the heart and mind of a person.
We know that the heart and mind is the center of life. Therefore, Jesus insisted that his holy, holy lakunyapun behavior, if his mind toil, yet his actions well. Conversely, if heart and a dirty mind, so dirty anyway behavior. Because it's much more important to maintain the hearts and minds of the dirty things, rather than just prevent acts actions. Jesus emphasized that by highlighting the sexual sins that are often hidden, but undermined the moral person. Adultery occurs when a person is already thinking in the liver (ay28). When the heart is rotten, all members of the body will easily do bad deeds.
Jesus reveals that sin comes from the heart and mind, before it was revealed in action. For God, man can not be half-half fulfill his will .. Even to say, if there are members of the body are misleading, we should be beheaded. (Ay29). God wants our whole life is holy and righteous. Piety God wants not only looked outside, but that comes from the mind and the deepest depths of our hearts.
