REFLECTION WEDNESDAY 29 MARCH 2017

Reading the Liturgy Wednesday, March 29, 2017

First Reading Isaiah 49: 8-15
Thus saith the Lord, "When I have a moment, I will answer thee, and on the day I was saved, I will help thee.
I have formed and made thee a covenant for mankind, to awaken the earth again and to distribute the inheritance desolate, to say to people who are confined to 'Come out!' and to those who are in the dark 'Tampillah!' Along the way they were as sheep not been lack of grass, and on all bare hills is also available grass for them. They will not be hungry or thirsty. The hot wind and sun shall not strike them, because compassion on them will lead them and will guide them to springs of water.
I will make all my mountains into roads and all highways in me shall Kuratakan. Look, there are people who come from far away, some from the north, from the west and some from the land of Sinim. Shout for joy, O heavens;
Shout, O earth, and rejoice with singing, O mountains! For God comforts his people and shows compassion to his people oppressed. But Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me,
and the Lord has forgotten me. "Can a woman forget her baby, so he did not love the child of her womb?
Although she forget, I will not forget you. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 145: 8-9.13c-14.17-18
The Lord is gracious and compassionate ,.
* The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and great his mercy. The Lord is good to all, and full of grace to all who serve him.
* The Lord is faithful in all his words and loving faithful in all his deeds. God is a crutch for everyone who fell
and enforcement for all who are bowed down.
* The Lord is just in all his ways and loving faithful in all his deeds. The Lord is close to everyone who call on him,
on every person who call upon Him in faithfulness.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 11: 25a.26
I am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord. Everyone who believes in me will live, even though he is dead.

Gospel reading John 5: 17-30
On one occasion, Jesus said to the Jews, "My Father worketh hitherto, and I work too." Because of this word,
Jews sought the more to kill Him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but also because he says
that God was his own Father, thereby making himself equal with God. So Jesus answered them, "I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, if he does not see the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise. For the Father loves the Son, and He shows His everything he does, even He will show Him greater works more than it works, so you may be surprised. for just as the Father raises the dead and turn it on,
Children as well as turn on anyone he wishes. Father does not judge anyone, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son,
does not honor the Father who sent him. I tell you:
Indeed, whoever hear my words and believe in him who sent me, he has eternal life and does not participate punished,
because he had moved out of death into life. I say unto you, Behold, the hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He has given the Son to have life in Himself. And the Father has given the Son the power to judge,
because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at it,
because a time is coming when all who are in the graves shall hear the voice of the Son, and those who have done good will come out
and rose to eternal life, but those who have done evil
will rise to be condemned. I can not do anything on my own. I judge according to what I hear, and my judgment is fair, because I do not indulge myself,
but the will of him who sent me. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
One day I visited and sent communion for a people, citizens of Maria Gunung Carmel Parish Sumenep, Madura .. She is a retired elementary school teacher and now he was old, the past, she is very busy with teaching and learning activities in schools and met with many students .. Now its activities a lot of silence and alone at home. She felt as if her life had no meaning anymore, no more hope, and just waiting to die.
In today's Gospel, Jesus presents, how God always works for the good of man. He healed a paralytic, ask to bring a mat and go off home. Apparently, it happened on the Sabbath (John 5; 8-9) Why did Jesus do something that is contrary to the Sabbath? He showed his right to work on the Sabbath. That is the will of His Father. Father to work every day, also on the Sabbath, Jesus also did the same.
As it turned out, not only that, Jesus also revealed the profound relationship between Himself with the Father. There are two main activity of God that gives life and judgmental, they are always recognized in the Jewish community, not even against the law and traditions Sabbath, Father Son gives life likewise. As the Father judge, that also carried the Son.
In particular for the evangelist John, judgment is happening now. It depends on one's attitude toward Jesus, for those who do listen to him, listen to the Father, whoever receives him, accepting the Father, He who believe in Jesus, believe in Him who sent Him. Whoever believes in the Son receives eternal life and not under sentence.
As a student we are invited to listen to Jesus and accept Him, By listening to Jesus and accept Him we express our faith. That is life and salvation. In concrete terms, that we express to do our work every day, with a good and faithful. give hope for those who do not have hope.
My dear people of God, let us cooperate with God to save the world, make life more alive.

Prayer.
O Lord, may we be able to makes our fellow, always willing to sacrifice their thoughts, feelings, our time and energy, Amin.

I am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord. Everyone who believes in me will live, even though he is dead.

REFLECTION TUESDAY 28 MARCH 2017

Reading the Liturgy Tuesday, March 28, 2017

First Reading Ezekiel 47: 1-9.12
Said the Prophet: An angel brought me to the temple, and I noticed that water out from under the threshold of the temple, and flows to the east; because the temple is also facing east; The water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. And the angel led me out through the north gate and brought me around the outside of the gate facing east. Indeed, the water was trickling from the south. And the angel went eastward with a measuring line in his hand. He measured a thousand,
and led me through the water; it was ankle deep. He measured a thousand, and led me once again into the water; now knee deep. Then he measured a thousand, and led me through time into the water;
now it is up to the waist. Again he measured a thousand cubits,
and now it has become a river of water where I can not walk any more, because the water had risen so people can swim; a river that can not be crossed again. Then the angel said to me,
"Do you see, son of man?" Then he brought me back to the bank of the river. On the way home, really, along the banks of the river were very many trees, on this side and on that side. The angel said to me, "This water flows toward the eastern region, and down to the Arabah, and empties into the Dead Sea,
then the sea water containing lots of salt that has lost its taste. Where the river goes, all the creatures that swarm in it will live. The fish will be very much, for wherever the water was up to, in situ seawater into freshwater, and where the river goes,
all who were there live. On both sides of the river grew miscellaneous fruit trees, whose leaves do not wither and fruit should never end. Each month there are more new fruit, because the trees get water from the sanctuary. Fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 46: 2-3.5-6.8-9
The Lord of hosts is with us, our fortress town is the God of Jacob.
* God is for us a refuge and strength, a helper in distress was evident. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains shake in the sea.
* City of God, the residence of the Sovereign, and filled by streams of a river. God is in it, the city can not be moved; God will help her in the morning.
* The Lord of hosts is with us, our fortress town is the God of Jacob.
Go on, look at the work of the Lord, who held the destruction of the earth.

Introduction to the Gospel Ps 51: 12a.14a
Create a clean heart in me, O God,  grant me the joy of Your salvation.

Gospel reading John 5: 1-16
On the feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda; five porches, and in the galleries lay a multitude of the sick, the blind, the lame and the lame, waiting for the moving of the water. Because any time an angel of the Lord fell into the water and shake it; History whoever goes into it after shaking the water, be healed, no matter what the ailment. Is there a thirty-eight years sick. When Jesus saw him lying there, and when he realized that he had been a long time in that state, he said to him, "Do you want to get well?" The sick man answered Him, "Lord, there is no one to put me into the pool, when the water is troubled, and while I myself toward the pond, another steps down before me." Jesus said to him,
"Rise, take up your mat and walk." And by the time the man was healed, and he picked up his bed and walk. But the day was the Sabbath. Therefore the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "Today is the Sabbath, and may not be for you to carry your mat."
But he answered them, "The man who healed me,
she who said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk. "
They asked him, "Who is the man who said to you:
Pick up your mat and walk '? "But the man who had been healed
do not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped into the middle of the crowd in that place. Then when you meet him in the temple, Jesus said to him, "You have healed; sin no more, lest anything worse happen." The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had healed him. And therefore the Jews persecuted Jesus, because he did these things on the Sabbath.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

afterthought
In today's Gospel Jesus healed a man who had 38 years of sick and lying near the foyer. When Jesus was passed around, he saw him and healed him. Then Jesus said to him, "You have healed; sin no more, lest anything worse happen." In Jesus' day understood illness as a result of sin. Therefore, just as Jesus reminds the sick man that does not sin .The it must abandon sin and renew his life.
Just as a sick person we heard from today's Gospel, we must have a passion for self-renewal. In the fourth week of this Lent, Jesus reminds us of the importance of the spirit of self renewal in daily living. Self-renewal is not directed first of all on the appearance of a new self-paced, but rather on the renewal of our inner .Hidup we need to be refurbished to make it more pleasing to God, because we live in this world full of struggle with dosa.Tidak we rarely falls on the same sin because of our negligence. Self-renewal meant that we were able to purify and detach ourselves from the bondage of sin and trends bond that could plunge us into the abyss of sin.
In this case, we can imitate the lives of the saints who have tasted the sanctity of life since they are struggling in this world .. For them, life is a continuous process of renewal of life before God. They struggled to beat the ego that often make them love themselves rather than God and neighbor. Therefore, they often do severe ascetic. The goal is that they are able to beat the craving lust of the flesh, so that they may present a pure heart to God in their daily lives.
Self-renewal must begin with a deep prayer, because in prayer we can be united with God. Only God has enabled us to renew ourselves. Updates ourselves makes us more permissive attitude toward sin. We should avoid sin. This will feel uncomfortable and difficult, but it will give fruit fruitfulness.

Prayer.
God, let thy word "Rise, take up your mat and walk." Making our faith firm as thy pupil pupil. Amen.

"You have healed; sin no more, lest anything worse happen."

REFLECTION MONDAY 27 MARCH 2017

Liturgical Readings Monday, March 27, 2017

First Reading Isaiah 65: 17-21
Thus saith God, "I create new heavens and a new earth! It's the first thing that will not be remembered, nor come into mind. Rejoice, and rejoice for ever
for what I created. For behold, I create Jerusalem full of cheers and exultation population. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people;
in it will never be heard again the voice of weeping and groaning sound was not. There will be no more babies who lives a few days or an old man who did not reach the age long. For someone who died a hundred years old will still be considered young, and who do not reach the age of a hundred will be considered cursed. They will build houses and dwell in them; They will plant vineyards
and eat their fruit.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 30: 2.4.5-6.11-12a.13b
I will praise you, O Lord, for thou hast lifted me up.
* I will praise you, Lord, for you lifted me up, and did not let my enemies rejoice over me. Lord, you lifted me out of Sheol, You turn me among those who go down to the pit.
* Sing unto the Lord, O ye who are loved by Him,
and give thanks to his holy name! For a moment His anger is but for life He was generous; sorrow during the night comes in the morning cheers.
* Hear, Lord, and have mercy on me! Lord, be my helper!
I mourner have you change into the dancing.
God, my God, forever I will praise thee.

Introduction to the Gospel Am 5:14
Seek good and not evil, that you may live;
thus God will be with you.

Gospel reading John 4: 43-54
On one occasion Jesus left Samaria and went to Galilee.
For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. When Jesus came to Galilee, the Galileans also welcomed him because they had seen everything that Jesus did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they too had gone to the feast. Then he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he made the water into wine. And at Capernaum there was a royal official, whose son was sick. When the employee was heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him, and asked Jesus to come and heal his son, who was about to die.
Jesus said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders,
you do not believe. "The royal official said to Him," Lord, come before my child dies. "Jesus told him," Go, your son is alive! "The man believed the word that Jesus said to him, and went away. When he was in the way his servants have come to him with the news that her daughter alive. He asked them what time the child began to recover, they replied, "Yesterday at one o'clock the fever left him." Then the father realized that at the time at which Jesus said to him "Your son will live." and he believed, he and all his family. and that is the second sign that Jesus did when he came from Judea to Galilee.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
When he heard that Jesus was in Cana, court officials went to see Jesus to ask for healing for his son. Jesus' reaction rather than following the employee to Capernaum, Jesus even told him to go home and said that her son recover. Very interesting, that the nobleman was immediately believed in the words of Jesus, the result is her son recover.
From the Gospel today, there is one thing that can be contemplated, that faith save her father. Jesus saw that the man was really loved him, so he was willing to travel so far to ask for healing. Therefore, Jesus give me the grace of healing.
The child recovered because the father receive the healing grace of faith. Air faith as a father was hard, because it is usually to heal a physician to come and touch the sick. While Jesus showed that he could do healing from a distance. Moreover journey from Cana to Jerusalem takes a long time. It can be said that on the way home that is dark, the court officials certainly keep faith outcome father's prayers answered.
Maybe we are not as lucky as the nobleman. We experienced that God did not seem to hear us, Why? There are many possible answers to what we often hear, one answer is because "God knows better what we need than we wanted" Or the other answer by the Gospel today, because we are "less confident" I'm sure, if eunuch did not believe in the words of Jesus, he certainly did not get a miracle. In disbelief, he may be questioning the workings of God unusual, unlike physicians who come in and treat the sick. But instead God only give short answers.
When praying we expect God's help, we tend to want to help him as we think. We want the process as we think or the results are as we expected. If so, this kind of faith is contrary to faith father, eunuchs. We do not surrender to God. Let's learn faith.
In our lives, healthy and sick, happy and hard, success and failure is closely related to faith and less or no faith. Air faith means surrendering completely to God so that the way of life and act in accordance with God's will. that is to say
spiritual life can not be separated from daily living. Pray and work like currency duplicity, distinguishable but inseparable. It is necessary to balance the spiritual life with prayer and work. Yesus Kristus is the resurrection and the life He brings eternal life since we are baptized and united with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The period of Lent is a good time for us to renew our faith in Him. We are invited to be more diligent and enterprising pray and work. We are also reminded to always come to him, listened to his words and pray to Him. What for ? So that sin, disease and hardship we are healed by Jesus.

Prayer.
Lord Jesus, thank you for the gift of our lives this, add our faith so that we live joyfully. Amen.

Hear, Lord, and have mercy on me! Lord, be my helper

Second reading Ephesians 5: 8-14
Brothers and sisters, you are indeed formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Because the fruit of goodness, justice and truth.
Test what pleases the Lord. Do not take part in the act of darkness that is not the fruit of anything, but on the contrary, it was stripped deeds. For just mention what they do in secret places have been embarrassing.
But everything that has been exposed by the light becomes visible, for all that appears is the light.
That is why it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, then Christ will shine on you."
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 8: 12b
I am the light of the world, the word of God. Whoever follows I have the light of life.

Gospel reading John 9: 1-41
Once, when he was walking along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but because the work of God might be displayed in him. We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day. There will come a night, where no one can work. As long as I'm in in the world, I am the light of the world. " After saying all that, Jesus spat on the ground,
His salivary and stirred it with soil, and put it on the blind man's eyes and told him, "Go wash in the pool of Siloam." Siloam means "Sent." Then the man went. He washed himself, then returned to his own literacy. Then the neighbors and those who previously knew him as a beggar, said, "Is not this always begging?" There is a saying, "Yes, he is!" Others said, "No, but he is similar to him."
The man himself said, "I am he." They said to him, "How do your eyes become literate?" He answered, "The man called Jesus made the mud, smeared it on my eyes and said to me:
Go to Siloam and wash. So I went, and after wash,
I can see. "Then they said to him," Where is He? "
He answered, "I do not know." They brought the man who had been blind to the Pharisees. The day when Jesus made the mud and opened the man's eyes was a Sabbath. Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He answered, "He is applying mortar lands on my eyes, and I washed, and now I can see." Then some of the Pharisees,
"This man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath."

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SATURDAY 25 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy of March 25, 2017
HR Annunciation

First Reading Isaiah 7: 10-14; 8: 10
God told King Ahaz, "Ask a sign of the Lord thy God, whether it was something from the world of the dead is at the bottom, who knows something of the highest point of the above." But Ahaz said, "I will not ask! I will not tempt the Lord!" Then said the prophet Isaiah, "All right! Listen, O house of David! Was not it enough you tiring of people, so you're exhausting my God also? Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a young woman with child and will give birth to a son male, and she will call his name Immanuel, which means God with us. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 40: 7-8a.8b-9:10:11
God, I'm coming to do Your will.
* Sacrifice and offering no want of, but you have opened my ears; burnt offerings and sacrifices demanded reparation thee not, then I say, "Look, Lord, here I come!"
* In the roll of the book it is written of me: "I'm glad to do thy will, O my God; thy law is within my heart."
* I preach justice in the middle of a large congregation, do not I restrained my lips clenched; You know, O Lord.
* Your justice is not hid in my heart, faithfulness and thy salvation manifest, love and Your truth is not I leave it, but I preached to a large congregation.

Second Reading Hebrews 10: 4-10
Brethren, could not have the blood of bulls or the goats
take away sins. Therefore when Christ entered into the world, he said,
"Sacrifice and offering you did not desire. Instead body you have prepared for me. To the burnt offerings and sin offerings thou not acceptable. Behold, I come to do thy will, O God." So at first he said, "You do not want sacrifices and offerings; you are not pleased with burnt offerings and sin offerings - though offered according to the law -."
And then he said, "Look, I have come to do thy will."
So first he has to enforce the second abolish. And because of his will we have been sanctified once for all time
the offering of the body of Jesus Christ.
Thus saith the Lord.
Introduction to the Gospel of John 1: 14ab
The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
and we have seen his glory.

Gospel reading Luke 1: 26-38
In the sixth month God sent the angel Gabriel to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David; The virgin's name was Mary.
When entering into the house of Mary, the angel said, "Hail, thou blessed, God is with you." Maria was surprised to hear the word, then asked in his heart, what is meant. The angel said to him,
"Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have come to the grace of God.
Look, you will conceive and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great
and will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of David, his ancestor. He will be king over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will never end. "Mary said to the angel," How shall this be, since I am a virgin? "The angel answered," The Holy Spirit will come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee;
Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.
And behold, Elizabeth,, he also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. Because for God nothing is impossible. "Then Mary said,
"I am the Lord's servant happened to me according to your word." Then the angel left him.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
The feast of the gospel is to be a light amid the human situation which lost hope of salvation for Adam's sin and a series of subsequent sin. Hope and safety have become blurred. It is the mystery of God's work, but this mystery, can not be separated from the human side and the struggle of Mary. Angel refers to Mary as a person who endowed and with God. God gave the gift and with Mary (Lk 1:28). This presupposes Maria has good personal qualities, as a daughter of Israel. It could be Mary live in obedience and maintain quality of life.
Humility of Mary made do not become arrogant personal, Although he was pleasing in God's sight, but he was not overbearing. Even Maria is precisely the fear of God, therefore angels asserts "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have come before God's grace. (V 30). Humility and our closeness to God, should not make us not fall into spiritual pride, is also not free us from the fear and confusion .. Therefore, it is clear that in any situation builds humility is an important basic properties.
Maria suffered misunderstanding he said, "how could this happen, since I am a virgin? (V 34). It is the question of faith we often face when human logic we feel, in contrast to the will of God.
Question even defensiveness often we do to resist the will of God. Maria does not follow purely the desire and will. He asked not for going against the will of God. It is a form of struggle and affirmation of the faith of Mary.
At the end of the struggle of faith, she surrendered to the will of God, "I am the servant of God, be with me according to according to Thy word is" (v 38), Maria dare to turn over all his will in the will of God, though not yet know what the dynamics of travel faith. Courage Maria in the form of surrendering to God's will be glad tidings of salvation.
Courage we surrender to God's will of course also brought salvation for ourselves and others.

Prayer.
My God, form the heart of my heart that resembles the Virgin Mary is able to accept the problem of life in faith, Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (FRIDAY MARCH 24, 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Friday, March 24, 2017

First Reading Hosea 14: 2-10
This is what the word of God, "Return, O Israel, the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your sins. Come bring words of regret, and repent to God. Cry out to Him: 'Forgive any errors, so we got a good, then we will present our recognition. Assyria can not save us; we do not want to ride a horse, and we will no longer say 'Yes, our God' to our handmade. Because You love orphans. ' Thus says the Lord: I will bring them from fraud, I will love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them. I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily, and cast forth his roots as poplar tree. The branches will grow;
splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon. They will go back and dwell in my shade; they will grow like wheat. They will blossom like a vine,
famous as the wine of Lebanon. Ephraim, what have bearing on my idols? I who answer and take care of you! I am like a verdant cypress, from me you got fruit. Who is wise? Let him understand these things;
who is wise, let him know it; For the ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in situ.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 81: 6c-8a.86b-9.10-11b.14.17
I am the Lord your God, listen to my voice.
* I heard a language I did not recognize, "I who have lifted the burden from your shoulders, and frees your hands from the basket yoke;
in distress you called out, then I deliver thee.
* I answer you by hiding behind the storm, I have been testing you close Meriba. Hear, O my people, I will give you a warning; O Israel, would you want to listen to me!
* Let no other gods among you, and thou shalt not worship a stranger. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt.
* If only my people listen to me! Had Israel living in my ways! My people will give to eat wheat,
and with honey from the rock I would satiates.

Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew 4:17
Repent, saith the Lord, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Gospel reading Mark 12: 28b-34
Once events came a scribe to Jesus and asked him, "Which is the first command?" Jesus replied, "The most important commandment is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
And the second commandment is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment more important than these. "
The scribe said to Jesus, "Teacher, exactly what You say, that he is one, and that there is no other god but Him.
Indeed, love Him with all your heart, with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself is far more important than all burnt offerings and offerings. "
Jesus saw how wisely the man answers. Then he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God!" And no one dare to ask him Jesus.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Love does not know in part, but it involves the whole self. A child was playing ball amid a field. He does not bother the heat of the sun. Forget to eat and drink. He seemed to be one with the ball. The same thing applies for a person who loves what he does: The painter who is drawing scenery as one with nature in front of him, farmers are tirelessly working in the fields, the nurse who was wholeheartedly serve the patient, a social worker who diligently serve the poor, they have loves his job with all your heart, with all your soul, and strength.
Jesus teaches us that God above all else. So love God must be with all of us. This means that we should praise the Lord even when we're working, we must pray to Him at every opportunity, we read His Word as if we are reading the newspaper, listening to His word as we are always listening to the radio or television. And to love God with all of us, flows the love of neighbor as we love ourselves. It means we will consider the interests of others, to feel the hurt of others and try to understand their dreams.

Item contemplation.
Jesus integrate himself into all the love, and He commanded His disciples to carry out the same. If we love God with all we are and all at once love others as we love ourselves then the kingdom of God is truly present in our midst.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, we give your people the ability to love You with all our heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (THURSDAY 23 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Thursday, March 23, 2017
PF S. Turibius of Mongrovejo, Bishop

First Reading Jeremiah 7: 23-28
Thus saith the Lord, "This is what I commanded them:
Listen to my voice, then I will be your God and you shall be my people, and follow the whole way that I command you,
lest you be happy! But they would not listen and do not want to pay attention, but they follow the designs
and hardness of their evil heart, and they show his back and not his face. Since fathers out of the land of Egypt until this time, I sent them my servants, the prophets,
day after day, constantly. But they would not listen to me and do not want to give attention; instead they harden his neck, did worse than their fathers. Even if you tell them all these things, they will not listen to your words, and even if you call out to them,
they will not answer you. Therefore, say to them:
This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God,
and who would not accept the teaching! Their sincerity is gone,
has disappeared from their mouths. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 95: 1-2.6-7.8-9
On this day, if you hear His voice, do not be hard-hearted.
* Let us sing to the Lord, cheering on the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, cheering for him with the singing of psalms.
* Come, let us bow down, kneel before the Lord who made us. For he is our God, we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of His flock.
* On this day, if you hear his voice, Do not hard-hearted as at Meribah, as in the period of time being in the wilderness, when your fathers tried and tested me, though they saw my works.

Introduction to the gospel of Joel 2: 12-13
Turn to Me with all your heart, saith the Lord,
for I am merciful and compassionate.

Gospel reading Luke 11: 14-23
On one occasion he was casting out a demon that was mute.
When the demon came out, the dumb can speak. The crowd was amazed. But some of them said, "He cast out demons by Beelzebub, the prince of demons." There is also asking for a sign from heaven to Jesus to test him. But Jesus knew their thoughts and said, "Every kingdom divided against itself will perish, and each household is divided against itself, would collapse. If Satan were divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand?
For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebub.
So, if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your followers throw your followers? Well, they will be your judges! But if I cast out demons by the power of God, then indeed the kingdom of God has come to you. When a strong man fully armed and keep his own house, his possessions it was safe. But if a stronger man attacks and conquers thereof, and it shall seize the weapons
which relied and divides up his plunder. Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me,
scatters. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Like most kids are invited to play. In fact, they generally expect to be elected as members of the team in that game. They feel sad to know that they themselves are not elected to the team. .But Elected a member of the team was not enough. The players should be able to play as a team, follow and listen to the captain of the team.
Some people Israel, though chosen by God, failed to follow God, captain. That is why God lamented: "This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God and did not accept the teaching (see Jer 7:23) They are too proud and selfish.
Through Baptism, God has included us in his set, "I chose you", He has selected us to be there beside him. He told us, "I will be your God and you shall be my people" (cf. Jer 7:23)
Life is not a game, but there are some aspects of the game that we can do as children of God. If we want to build a strong team. We need to work together, not exalting and self-serving. The only person worth adorable in our team is the captain himself, Jesus. As a captain, Jesus is a leader who should we believe and we listen. Above all it was okay if we realize that we have been chosen by God enter into his set. In unity with Jesus that we will win and not disintegrate in the face of the enemy. "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters" (Luke 11:23)

Item contemplation.
Do I believe in Jesus as my Lord? Do I still doubt the goodness and love of God Himself? Do I believe the presence and love of God through others, through family, friends, environment, employment, and this nature? May we increasingly believe.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, hopefully during this Lent we thy people increasingly believe that you accompany us always, through people, through family, friends, environment, employment, and nature. Amen.

"I will be your God and you shall be my people"

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (WEDNESDAY 22 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Wednesday, March 22, 2017

First Reading Deuteronomy 4: 1.5-9
In the wilderness side of the Jordan Moses said to his people,
"Men of Israel, hear the statutes and regulations that taught you to do, that ye may live and enter and occupy the land that was given to you by the Lord God of your fathers. Remember, I have taught statutes and regulations you, as commanded by God, My God,
that ye may do so in the country, will ye go to possess. Do it faithfully, because that would be wisdom and your mind in the eyes of the nations. As soon as they hear all these statutes will say: Indeed, this great nation is a people wise and prudent. Which causes great nation that has gods so close to him as the Lord our God whenever we call to him? Which nations and large that has statutes and judgments so righteous as all the laws, which I spread out before you today?
But beware and be careful, lest thou forget the things that are seen by your own eyes that, and so do all of it is gone from your memory for life. Declare all of it to your children and grandchildren granddaughter "
Such is the Word of God.

Psalm Ps 147: 12-13.15-16.19-20
Boast of the Lord, O Jerusalem!
* Boast of the Lord, O Jerusalem: praise thy God, O Zion! For he confirmed the crossbar gates, and blessed the children within you.
* He gave his orders to the earth; immediately ran to his word.
He giveth snow like wool and dissipating frost like ashes.
* He preached the word to Jacob, decrees and laws unto Israel. He did not do so to all nations, and His laws they do not know.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 6: 63b.68a
Your Word, O Lord, are spirit and life. You have the words of eternal life.

Gospel reading Matthew 5: 17-19
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said to His disciples, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law
or the Prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. Because I tell you: Indeed, until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the commandments of the Torah even the smallest,
and teaches it to others, he will occupy the places least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does and teaches all the commandments of the Torah, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Children who are teenagers are usually the most like protesting parents. They hobbies question all the customs and norms of society. Of course we understand, because of their age is the age for identity. After feeling safe with his family, children who begin to experience a new world of teenagers through schools and social which often differ dar habit at home. Later when they are larger and mature, they are usually more realistic and appreciate the customs and norms of living together.
In today's first reading, Moses told the people of Israel earnestly in order to keep the rules and regulations he had taught. For all that comes from God himself. Everyone Israel is obliged to pass on and tell all that to the children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren and grandchildren of their great-grandchildren. Even Jesus in the Gospels never want to abolish the law. Jesus came to fulfill the Torah precisely the legacy of faith of Moses. His life itself is the fulfillment of the whole of the Torah and the Bible itself.

Item contemplation.
Let us reflect on this point, whether we faithfully and diligently inform, teach and set an example to the children and grandchildren of our grandchildren, our pupil pupils about all the habits and traditions of the holy Church? Many parents are too busy so ultimately the faith education of children displaced children

Prayer.
Yes God as love, give us your people, especially parents ability to faithfully and diligently teach and set an example for the children, all the customs and traditions of the Church. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (TUESDAY 21 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Tuesday, March 21, 2017

First Reading T.Dan 3: 25.34-43
When thrown into the furnace of fire, Azariah stood up and prayed; He opened his mouth in the midst of the fire, he said, "For the sake of thy name, O Lord, do we refuse me forever, and do not Kaubatalkan your covenant do not Kautarik back than us Your mercy, for the sake of Abraham lover thy sake Isaac thy servant, and for the sake of Israel, thy holy man, whom thou hast promised to multiply their offspring
be like the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore.
My God, we have become the number smallest among all nations,
and now we also are considered to be low throughout the earth because of our sins. Nowaday there is no leader, prophet or ruler, no burnt offering or the sacrifice, the sacrifice of grain or incense; there is also a place to dedicate the firstfruits unto thee and find compassion. But hopefully, we received well, because the soul is shattered and spirits were low, as if we brought sacrificed sheep and oxen and thousands of lambs fattened. Thus we should sacrifice before thee this day entirely pleasing to You.
For no dikecewakanlah those who believe in you. Now we follow thee with all your soul and with piety Thee,
and thy face we were looking for. Let us Kaupermalukan, but we perlakukankanlah according to thy mercy, and according to the size of your mercy. Deliver us in accordance with the miraculous deeds, and let it be known the glory of thy name, O Lord. "
Such is the Word of God.

Psalm Ps 25: 4b-5b.6.7c.8-9
Remember all the grace and mercy, O Lord.
* Tell your walks to me, O Lord, shew thy hallways me. Bring me walk in your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me.
* Remember all the grace and mercy, O Lord, for they had been there since immemorial. Remember all the grace and mercy, O Lord, because of your goodness, O Lord.
* God is good and true; He therefore show the way to those who are astray. He guides the humble in accordance with the law and teach his way to the people who unpretentious.

Introduction to the gospel of Joel 2: 12-13
Turn to Me with all your heart, saith the Lord, for I am merciful and compassionate.

Gospel reading Matthew 18: 21-35
On one occasion, Peter came to Jesus and said, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "No!
I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. For the kingdom of heaven is like a king
to be held reckoning with his servants.
When he began to make that calculation, a debtor dihadapkanlah him ten thousand talents. But as he was unable to repay its debt, the master ordered that he be sold, with his wife, children and all his possessions to pay the debt. Then the servant fell down to worship him, saying: Be patient first, all my debt will kulunaskan. Then the king was moved with compassion will be the slave, so he released him and eliminate debt. But when the servant was out, he met another servant who owed him a hundred denarii. It captures and strangling his friend, saying: Pay what you owe! Then bowed his friend and begged him: Be patient first, it will kulunaskan my debt. But he refused and handed it to his friend in prison until the debt is paid away everything. Seeing that his friends to another very sad and convey everything that had happened to their master. So the king had summoned the first servant and said to him:
O servants of evil! All your debt has been eliminated by me because you begged me. Should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I have loved you? Then his master angry
and handed him over to the torturers until he paid the entire debt. Thus my Father in heaven will do to you if each of you does not forgive your brother
with all your heart. "
Such is the Word of God.

Devotional.
In every culture on earth there are at least three words that always taught from an early age: thank you, please and sorry. Nevertheless, it is not easy to also run it as an adult. The hardest word to say is sorry and the hardest thing to do is to forgive. It is not easy to apologize let alone forgive others.
Proverb states, "to err is human, but forgive is divine", err and sin is human nature, but to forgive is divine nature. Father God in Jesus Christ has revealed forgiveness as good news and news of liberation. That's the way to blaze a new path, breaking the chain of revenge and violence. Jesus not only taught but implement them in the teaching and example of his life. Even when the end when dying, spoken are words of forgiveness, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." He told Peter to forgive 70x7, this means forgiveness without limit because 'God is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in mercy "
Through baptism, we all have been called and appointed to be the children of God and get the gift of divine life. One measure of self-assess the extent to which we have become the Son of God and the divine life has gotten into us is the ability to forgive. Increasing our ability to forgive, that also increase the quality of life of the Divine within us.

Item contemplation
God's perfect love manifested in His mercy is infinite. How many times have we recite the Our Father. Hopefully every time praying, we are also seriously invoke the grace to grow in God's mercy and enabled to forgive.

Prayer.
Father is merciful, grant us thy people the ability to improve our forgiveness to others. Amen.

Thus my Father in heaven will
do unto you, if ye do not forgive each brother
with all your heart.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (MONDAY 20 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Monday, March 20, 2017
HR S. Joseph, Husband S.P. Maria

First Reading 2Sa 7: 4-5a.12-14a.16
On the night of the word of God to Nathan, "Go and tell my servant David: Thus saith the Lord: When your days are fulfilled, and you've got a break along your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, own son, and I will strengthen his kingdom. he will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his Father, and he shall be my son. Your family and your kingdom will be solid for ever before me , will be sturdy throne forever. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 89: 2-3.4-5.27.29
Grandchildren will be sustainable forever.
* I will sing the mercy of the Lord for ever, thy faithfulness want said hereditary. Because thy lovingkindness is built for eternity; Your faithfulness up like the sky.
* You say, "Have I tied covenant with my chosen, I have sworn to David my servant: I will enforce your descendants forever, and build a hereditary throne."
* He will say to me, 'You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. I will maintain my loyal love for him and my covenant with him will I hold firm. "

Second Reading Romans 4: 13:16 to 18:22
Brothers, not because of the law of Abraham and his descendants are promised that they will have the world, but for the truth on the basis of faith. Truth is by faith that is mere grace. So the promise to Abraham that apply to all offspring,
not only to those who are of the law, but also for those who have the faith of Abraham. Because in the presence of the God of Abraham is the father of us all, as it is written, "Thou hast I will make the father of many nations." That Abraham believed God,
the God who raised the dead, and that to his word
create that does not exist. For though there is no basis for hope, Abraham nonetheless hope and believe that he will be the father of many nations, because God has said to him, "So shall thy seed multiply." And it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to Gospel Psalm 84: 5
Blessed are those who dwell in Your house, who praise you endlessly.

Gospel reading Matthew 1: 16.18-21.24a
According to the genealogy of Jesus Christ, Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary,
who gave birth to Jesus who is called Christ. Before Christ was born,
Mary, his mother, was engaged to Joseph. before they lived as husband and wife. Because Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was intended to divorce her quietly. But when Joseph to give effect to it,
angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child in the womb is from the Holy Spirit. Mary will give birth to a boy, and you will name him Jesus, because he will save His people from their sins. " After waking from sleep, Joseph did what the angel of the Lord
to her.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
There are people who try to lure others to apply as people to be pitied. Looking for funds while pulling the sympathy and compassion of others. There are also people did whatever they wanted another person with the intent to get something. For example, a small child promised a gift if you want to help their parents. The children also helps parents are not sincere, just to get the prize, sincerity has not grown.
St. Yusup an example of a righteous man. He was a humble, hardworking and did not talk much, he did everything wisely, based on prayer in silence. That is, whatever he does with a sincere heart, with no strings attached. Spirit to weigh and ponder before taking the decision to become the basis for any action. Moreover, if the decision concerns the good of many.
Our religious life is often done simply for the sake of obligation and does not involve the heart. We do not like St. Joseph sincere in doing something. We still have a sense of self-interest, want to get something. We pray to God in earnest because there are strings attached, are in need of this or that. But when it does not need anything, prayer often do random origin or minimally. Pray has not done sincerely, as a personal relationship with God. Menggereja life was done merely to meet obligations as Catholics.

Item contemplation.
We need to reflect on our lives for this. What we've really done something with a sincere heart, whether as a husband, wife, children, community members, or members of the Parish Pastoral Council? Or do we do something out of necessity and there is meaning behind all these actions? St.Yusup has been exemplary in terms of sincerity. Perhaps this time we do it all with forced. However, over time, hopefully attitude forced into doing something that could turn out to be a sincere attitude, which was done with the whole heart.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, we beg Thy people teach us to pray like St. Yusup, who prayed in silence and with a sincere heart .. Amen.

Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SUNDAY 19 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Sunday, March 19, 2017
Sunday of Lent III

First Reading Exodus 17: 3-7
Once, after the Israelites through the wilderness of Sin,
and camped at Rephidim, kehausanlah them there. Then the people murmured against Moses and said, "Why would you bring us up out of Egypt, to kill our children and our cattle with thirst?" Then-summon Moses cried to the Lord, he said, "What will I do with this people? They be almost ready to stone me!" Then the Lord spake unto Moses, "Walk on before the people, and bring along some people
from among the elders of Israel; Bring your rod also were wearing struck the Nile, and go. I will be standing there in front of you
on the rock in Horeb; pukulah rock it, and out of them will be out of water, so that the people may drink. "Moses did before the eyes of the elders of Israel. Then he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites had quarreled, and because they have tempt God by saying, "Is the Lord among us or not?"
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 95: 1-2.6-7.8-9
On this day, if you hear the voice of God, do not be hard-hearted.
* Let us sing to the Lord, cheering on the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving song,
cheering for him with the singing of psalms.

Second Reading Rom 5: 1-2.5-8
Brothers, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through whom we also obtain entry into the grace of God. In love we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly at the time appointed by God. For one will hardly die for a righteous man, but perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that Christ died for us while we were still sinners.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 4: 42.15
Lord, You are the savior world.
Give me the water of life, so I was not thirsty anymore.

Gospel reading John 4: 5-42
On one occasion Jesus went to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the land that formerly Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Jacob's well was there. Jesus, tired from the journey, because it was he sitting in the well. Today approximately twelve o'clock. Then came a Samaritan woman about to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me to drink!" For the disciples of Jesus had gone to buy food. So the Samaritan woman said to him, "Thou cuisine, a Jew, ask a drink with me, a Samaritan?" Understandably Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus replied, "If you knew the gift of God and who he is saying to you 'Give me a drink' undoubtedly you have asked Him, and He has given you living water."
The woman said to Him, "Lord, you have no bucket and the well is deep; where did you obtain the living water?
Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us this well and he himself had been drinking from it,
he and his children, and his livestock? "Jesus replied," Whoever drinks of this water will be thirsty again! But whoever drinks the water that I shall give him, he will not thirst for ever.
Instead the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring, which constantly springing up into everlasting life. "
The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, so I will not get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw." Jesus said to him, "Go, call your husband and come here." The woman said, "I do not have a husband." Jesus said to him,
"Exactly what you say, that you do not have a husband, for you've had five husbands, and who now is in you was not your husband. What you have said is true." The woman said to Jesus, "Lord, now evident to me, that you are a prophet.
Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say,
that Jerusalem is the place where people worship. "Jesus said to him,
"Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You worship what you do not know, but we worship what we know, because salvation comes from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, that the true worshiper will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks worshipers that way. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth. " The woman said, "I know that Messiah, who is called Christ, is coming; when it comes, He will tell everything to us."
Jesus said to him, "I am he, who was conversing with you!" At that time the disciples came to Jesus, and they wonder
that Jesus was speaking with a woman.
But nobody said, "What do you want? Or: What are you talking with her?"
Meanwhile the woman left her water jar and went into town and said to the people there, "Come, look! There's a man who told me everything I have done.
Could this be the Christ? "So they left the town and were coming to him. Meanwhile, Jesus invites the disciples, he said,
"Rabbi, eat!" But Jesus said to them, "In my last meal you do not know." Then the disciples said to one another, "Is there anyone who has brought something to him to eat?" Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me and completing his work. Did not you say, 'Four months more and then comes the harvest'?
But I tell you: Look around, and look at the fields are ripe for harvest. Now also harvester has received his reward, and he gathers fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper equally rejoice. Because in this case it is true the adage 'One man sows and another reaps'. I sent you to reap what you have not labored.
Other people tried, and you have entered into their labor. "
Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in Jesus
because the word of the woman, who testified, "He told me everything I have done." So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they asked Him, Jesus to stay with them, and Jesus also stayed there two days. And more and more people became believers because of the words of Jesus, and they said to the woman, "We believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him

Devotional.
Samaritan woman came to draw water at Jacob's well to be made unnerved by Jesus who was sitting there. His way Jesus opened the mysteries of the Kingdom of God to the Samaritan woman, and the woman finally see that secret, that He is present in front of his eyes is the messenger of Allah. Jesus assures her that his heart that opens has ushered him to realize that worship God must be in spirit and in truth.
Worship God must be in spirit because God is Spirit. It is used to do when we attend church. But it's enough that we worship only within the Church alone? Obviously not. Jesus made it clear that worship God must also in the truth because Jesus is the truth. And the real truth is that the alignments of Jesus to the poor when he lived with them. Jesus worship His Father not only in spirit, in prayer prayer - his, but also in his actions that actually show the truth. Thus, let us realize that worship the Father was not only in church, but also outside the Church, in a community that desperately need justice. We must make a commitment to live in balance between worship the Father in spirit and worship the Father in truth. Therefore pray and act fairly is a manifestation of faith that makes people right with God.

Prayer.
Father, guide our hearts by the Holy Spirit thy people - thy that as followers of Christ we are more balanced in life and our work. Amen.

God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship
Him in spirit and truth

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SATURDAY 18 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Saturday, March 18, 2017
PF S. Cyril of Jerusalem, Bishop and Doctor of the Church

First Reading Mi 7: 14-15.18-20
The Prophet said, "O Lord, with thy staff pasture your people,
the flock of your inheritance. They are remote, inhabit the jungle in the middle of an orchard. Let them graze in Bashan and Gilead as in days of yore. Hold up to us the actions of magical, like when you came out of Egypt. Is there another God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
carried out by the remains of his inheritance? Which is not angry forever but delight in the faithfulness? May He love us back, eliminate our mistakes and cast all our sins into the deep-sea bluff. That You would show your loyal to Jacob and Your love to Abraham, as you promised with an oath to our ancestors since time immemorial!
Such is the Word of God.

Psalm Ps 103: 1-2.3-4.9-10.11-12
The Lord is merciful and gracious.
* Praise the Lord, O my soul! Praise his holy name, all ye within me! Praise the Lord, O my soul, forget not all his benefits will!
* He who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases! He who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion!
* Not continuous His anger, and not forever She grudge.
He never treated us deserves our sins, or reward us deserves our fault.
* As high as the heavens from the earth, so great is God's mercy on those who fear Him! As far as the east is from the west, so our transgressions dumped him.

Introduction to the Gospel of Luke 15:18
I will arise and go to my father and say to him,
"Father, I have sinned against heaven and against Father."

Gospel reading Luke 15: 1-3.11-32
The publicans and sinners used to come to him to hear him. Then murmured the Pharisees and scribes, saying, "This man welcomes sinners and ate with them." Then Jesus told this parable to them, "A has two boys, said the youngest to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of our possessions
which is my right. ' Then he divided his property
among them. A few days later the younger son gathered all he had and went into a far country. There he squandered his wealth with a wild lifestyle. He spent his possessions, a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in.
So he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country. He sent him into his fields to pigs. Then he wanted to fill his belly
with the bean pods the pigs ate, but no one gave it to him. Then he came to himself, he said: 'How many hired men my father abundant food, but I'm here to starve to death. I will arise and go to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against Father; I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of thy hired servants. ' Then he got up and went to his father.
When he was away, his father saw him, and his heart was moved with compassion. The father ran to meet him and embraced and kissed him. The boy said to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against Father, I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But the father said to his servants, 'Hurry bring hither the best robe, and put the him; , put a ring on his finger, and shoes on his feet. And take the fattened calf, slaughter him, and let us eat and rejoice. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. So they began making merry. But the eldest son was in the field.
When he got home and close to the house, he heard the sound of flutes and singing dances. Then he called one of the servants and asked him what the meaning of it all. The slave replied, 'Your brother has come,
and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he got the child back safely. ' So angry was the eldest child and he did not enter. Then his father came out and talked with him. But he answered his father, he said, 'For many years I serve the Father,
and I've never disobey the Father, but the Father gave me has never been any young goat to rejoice with my friends. But just coming Father's children who have squandered the wealth of the Father along with prostitutes, the Father that killed the fatted calf for him. '
Her father said to him, 'Son, thou art ever with me, and all mine is yours. We should celebrate and rejoice, because your brother was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. "
Such is the Word of God.

Devotional.
Andre, inmates LP Lowokwaru, Malang East Java was happy because soon she will breathe free air after languishing for five years for drug charges. During in prison, he truly realized and regretted the damage himself and defamed the family and destroy others. Once out of prison, he intended to be converted, and become a good person.
However, after he was released from prison, family, neighborhood and church and community was not willing to accept. It makes him sad and depressed. He wants a new life but the family and society does not give him a chance to renew itself.
People often stigmatize or ugly stamp on someone made a mistake or sin, for so he is considered a sinner who should be shunned. But those that have repented and returned to the beaten path. It makes people think, there is no point to repent and live well because people do not accept it nonetheless. This situation is causing people back to committing the same crime.
Did God also always remember the sins of man, and not willing to accept the sinner back to Him. Tidak.Dalam today's Gospel, God precisely described as a Father who longs forward rebellious son returned home to his house. He is a personal being forgiving, who does not remember remember his sins and errors. He was willing to accept his sinful.
For God, what has happened is past. The important thing people want to start a new life with him. Awareness of the mercy of God to overcome sin and human error is what should move us to come to God. Humbly we pray for mercy and forgiveness of God through the Sacrament of Penance.

Item contemplation.
No matter how great is our sin, if we want to really acknowledge, repent and ask forgiveness of Allah, then He will forgive our sin and receive us back as his children

Prayer.
Yes God is merciful, grant us thy people's consciousness more frequently to confession. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (THURSDAY 16 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Thursday, March 16, 2017

First Reading Jer 17: 5-10
Thus saith the Lord, "Cursed are those who trust humans,
who rely on their strength, and whose hearts have turned away from God! He is like a bush fleeced in the wilderness, he will never experience the coming days either; he will live on arid land in the desert, in a barren uninhabited. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord! He is like a tree planted by the waters, that sends out its roots by the river, and shall not see when the heat comes; he is like a tree whose leaves are still green, that does not worry in a dry year, and that does not cease to bear fruit. How cunning heart, more cunning than anything! Hearts are hardened: who can know it? I, God, that hearts and minds, to reward each person deserves results of his actions. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 1: 1-2.3.4.6
Blessed are those who put their trust in God.
* Blessed are those who do not walk in the counsel of the wicked, who does not stand in the way of sinners, and who does not sit in the set of scoffers; but the favorite is the law of God, and meditate day and night.
* He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which produces fruit in its season, and never wither; what he doeth shall prosper.
* Not so the wicked are like chaff in the wind. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Introduction to the Gospel of Luke 8:15
Blessed are those, who, having heard the word of the Lord, keep it in good heart, and bear fruit in perseverance.

Gospel reading Luke 16: 19-31
On one occasion, Jesus said to His disciples, "A rich man
who always dressed in a purple robe and fine fabrics, and every day he rejoiced in luxury. And a beggar named Lazarus, his body covered with wounds. He was lying near the door of the rich man, and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. In fact, the dogs came and licked his wounds.
Then the poor man died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. While suffer in Hades, he looked up and from a distance saw Abraham with Lazarus in his lap. Then he shouted, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame! " But Abraham said, "Son, remember! You have received good things during your lifetime, and likewise Lazarus evil things. Now he is comforted and you are in agony.
Aside from all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you or those who want to come from there to us can not be crossed! "
The man said, 'If so, I ask you Father, that you would send him to my father's house, because they have five brothers, so he warned them earnestly, that they later do not enter into a place of suffering.' But Abraham said,
'There is on them to Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. ' The man replied, 'No, Father Abraham!
But if there is someone from the dead to them,
they will repent. ' Abraham said to him, 'If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
The rich and the poor as Lazarus always around us and become a part of daily living. Very easy to find a contrast contrasted life around us, a group of people have the luxury home in a residential or cluster with a range of views to the mountains, beaches, beautiful parks and knickknacks ornaments plants that expensive. While under bridges, under overpasses and corner of the city, too crowded slums or squatter homes are no less real headache for managers of cleanliness of the city or government officials to "throw". Poverty and abundance around us as the reality of life. How are we going to be, so that we have a heart for the poor Lazarus Lazarus and the rich man has the heart to share with all the abundance of treasures are there?
"The love of Christ overwhelms us" (2 Cor 5:14), the Holy Father Benedict XVI wrote in the Apostolic Letter "Porto Fidei" article 7. The love Christ that fills our hearts and encouraging us to evangelize. Today, as well as first, Christ sends us into the hallway corridor this world to preach the gospel to the nations on earth. In the current era was considered the need for a stronger commitment of the Church for a new evangelization, so that people rediscover the joy of believing and the enthusiasm for communicating the faith. To people with simple and daily living to meet the basic needs of people with difficulty eating and drinking, we became friends and lend assistance, and possible ways to survive in the hard work. To those who can afford a holiday abroad and never think again about the daily basic needs, hopefully there is great eagerness to share love without waiting for proposals, shows the generosity of God's compassionate and become the Lord of all the world's treasures and content. Hopefully there is a realization that the wealth we have is God entrusted to us to manage with responsibility and accountability.

Item contemplation.
The poor man is very real pockets of the uterus from the mercy of God, because they were born out of compassion for us, and the impulse for compassion with them. The compassion of God can only be drawn down by a sense of compassion, which appears at the sight of the poor, and act immediately to give a helping hand to them ..
One form is a charity helping hand (Matt 6: 4). Alms, often called social action charity, is a form of social convincing repentance. Therefore, the poor can also be a social conversion womb, because of the man they compelled to give alms.

Prayer
Yes God is merciful, during this Lent we teach your people to better share to the Weak, Poor, Displaced and Disability (LMTD). amen

Blessed are those, who, having heard the word of the Lord,
keep it in good heart, and bear fruit in perseverance.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (WEDNESDAY 15 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Wednesday, March 15, 2017

First Reading Jer 18: 18-20
The opponents of the Prophet Jeremiah said, "Let us deal with Jeremiah, for the priest will not run out of teaching, wise men to give us advice, and prophets to declare God's word. Let us hit him with their own language and do not pay attention to every word!" "Look on me, O Lord,
and listen to voice my complaint! Be repaid kindness with evil? They have dug a pit to kill me! Remember how I stood before you, and pleading on their behalf, so that venting your anger on them.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 31: 5-6.14.15-16
Save me, O God, by your loyal love!
* You will get me out of the net that is placed against me, for you are my shelter. Into thy hands I give my life; So good as to free me, O God, the faithful God.
* For I hear many people whispering, haunting me from all directions; they are against me, they intend to take my life.
* But I, Thee O Lord, I believe, I said, "You are my God!" My future is in your hands, deliver me from the hand of my enemies and be free of those who come after me!

Introduction to the Gospel of John 8: 12b
I am the light of the world, the word of God, he who follow me will have the light of life.

Gospel reading Matthew 20: 17-28
As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples apart, and said to them, "Now we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they shall condemn him to death . They will hand him over to the Gentiles who do not know God,
that He mock-mock, scourged and crucified, but on the third day he will be raised. "Then the mother of Zebedee's sons and his sons to him, and kneeling before him to ask for something to Him. Jesus said," what do you want? "the boy's mother,
"Give orders, so that these my two sons may sit one day in your kingdom, one at your right and the other on thy left." Jesus answered, "You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup, should I drink?" And they said to Him, "We can." Jesus said to them, "Grail-Ku will indeed ye drink, but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give. It is for those for whom my Father has been prepared."
Hearing that, angry ten other disciples to the two brothers. But Jesus called them and said, "You know that the government of nations rule the people with an iron fist
and magistrates exercise authority over them.
It is not so among you! Whoever wants to be great among you, let him be your servant, and whoever wants to be foremost among you, let him be your servant. Just as the Son of Man: He came not to be served but to serve,
and to give his life a ransom for many. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Jeremiah annoyance and despair. He is prepared to deliver all the warning of God to the robbers, criminals and fraudsters country. He has given criticism and scathing rebuke to the country's leaders are only thinking about his own wallet. They should be willing to change, to repent and thanking him. But what happened to the man of God? He even despised, hated, would be silenced and killed. In his willingness, Jeremiah fled to God and ask God to show himself as God's Just One is majestic. That is rewarding the good and punishing evil.
Humans like Jeremiah, the Old Testament characters still have much to learn about a personal God. Then came Jesus, the New Testament figures. He was a man who inspired and moved by the Spirit and God's love. He was reprimanded, invited the Israelites to turn and repent. He spoke not as irritated or seek position but of love and compassion. But unfortunately, his fate was no better than humans Jeremiah. Apparently the witnesses and heralds of God's love should be ready combated world and cronies cronies. But the human person of Jesus different from Jeremiah. Jeremiah said, "O Allah retaliate and punish the sinners and dissidents Your Word", Jesus said, "Father, forgive them and let them know that we love them"
We often resemble humans Jeremiah. We've been doing good, has been advising people, but she refuses to repent, even angry at us, we like to let myself or even curse him. How great is the attitude of Jesus who is always willing to forgive and to love, even if sick imagined. To the disciples who had had to sacrifice for Jesus, he said: "Do not look for praise, advantage or status for yourselves but serve, give yourself for the happiness of others. And when it's over, you can look forward, rather than demand, the seat in Heaven. "

Item contemplation.
Are we humans are demanding that the Old Testament God Just One is majestic? That is rewarding the good and punishing evil. Or we've started to become a man of the New Testament? Who wants to love, to forgive completely and then said: "I am the handmaid of the Lord, may my life pleasing to Him.

Prayer.
Father, teach us Thy people to love, forgive and serve our neighbors in total. Amen.

Son of Man: He came not to be served,
but to serve,

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (TUESDAY 14 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Tuesday, March 14, 2017

First Reading Isaiah 1: 10.16-20
Hear the word of the Lord, ye leaders of Sodom! Pay attention to the teaching of our God, ye people of Gomorrah! "Wash Cleanse yourselves, put away the evil deeds out of my sight.
Stop doing evil, learn to do good. Seek justice, control the cruel; Defend the rights of orphans, widows strive case! Then come over here, and let us litigate! the word of God . Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the country. But if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. "Truly, the Lord Himself who said this.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 50: 8-9.16bc-17:21:23
People who are upright, will see the salvation of God.
* Not because the sacrifice you are punished, because there is always burnt offerings before Me! I need not take a bull from your house or goats from your sheepfolds.
* Do that to investigate my statutes, and mention my covenant with your mouth, but you hate admonition, and put aside my words?
* That you do, Do I will not say anything? Do you think I am a par with thee? I'm suing you and want to litigants with you.
* Who is offered as a sacrifice of thanksgiving, he glorified Me;
and who is upright, will witness the salvation of God. "

Introduction to the Gospel Yeh 18:31
Put away from you all the transgressions which you made against me, and renew the heart and spirit.

Gospel reading Matthew 23: 1-12
On one occasion Jesus said to the crowds and his disciples,
"The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So obey and do everything they tell you,
but do not ye after their works, for they taught, but did not. They tie up heavy loads in mind, and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves do not want to touch. All the work that they do for to be seen. They wore wide prayer rope and tassels long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the best seats in the synagogues; their greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called 'Rabbi. But you are not like to be called Rabbi;
have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. Anyone who is greatest among you,
let him be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and who humbles himself will be exalted. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
We often hear the advice: Repent, change your behavior, do not do evil again, do not sin again, and so on. However, we admit, fairy behavior change is not easy, it requires time and process.
The period of Lent is the time to repent, when the time to improve. Counsel of the prophet Isaiah Today was good: "Wash Cleanse yourselves, put away the deeds evil of my sight." Why did Isaiah say that? Because God can not be deceived. God looks at the heart, we can act as though good, but if our hearts are evil, God still knows. we act as though pure, clean, unblemished, fair, patient, but in fact we are still corrupt, unjust, anger, hatred, and enmity. love to God we do not realize the love of neighbor God does not want this.
We easily see the flaws and mistakes of others. However, it is easy to forgive the mistakes yourself. If we were doing wrong, we say, "Ah, it's small," normal "but when others do wrong, we remember to remember and sometimes we use it as a weapon against him.

Item contemplation.
Today God corrects us not hypocritical. Let us repent and follow his advice. "Stop doing evil, learn to do good." Let us confess our sins, because if we confess our sins, God does forgive our sins. His word, "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow"

Prayer.
Yes God is merciful, during this Lent we knocked your people to stop doing evil and learn to do good and have the awareness to confession. Amen.

People who are upright, will witness
the salvation of God.

Reading First Dan 9: 4b-10
Ah, Lord God almighty and powerful, which holds the Agreement and mercy towards those who love you and hold on to your commandments, we have sinned and wrong; we have done wickedly and have rebelled; we have strayed from thy commandments and regulations. We did not obey thy servants the prophets, who have spoken in your name to our kings, to our princes, to our fathers, and to all the people of the country. O Lord, You are righteous! We are humiliated this day, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and all Israel, those near and those far away in all the countries where you have driven them because of their apostasy applies to you.
My God, we, our kings, our princes, and our fathers greatly to shame, for we have sinned against you. In the Lord, our God, no compassion and forgiveness, though have rebelled against him, and did not listen to the voice of the Lord our God, who told us to live according to the law which has been given to us through the prophets, servants His ,
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 79: 8.9.11.13
God does not treat us according to your sins.
* Let us calculate the errors of our ancestors!
May the grace of Thy soon meet us, because we are already very weak.
* For the sake of Your glory, help us, Lord savior! Deliver us and forgive our sins because of Thy name!
* Let your presence to the complaints of the prisoners; according to the greatness of thy arm, let the lives of those who are determined to die.
* So we, your people, and the flock of thy pasture, will give thanks to you forever, and will proclaim the praises of thy hereditary.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 6: 64b.69b
Your Word, O Lord, are spirit and life. You have the words of eternal life.

Gospel reading Luke 6: 36-38
Jesus said to His disciples, "Be generous,
as your Father is merciful. Do not be judgmental,
then you shall not be judged. And do not punish,
then you shall not be condemned; forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.
Give, and you shall be given to you: A good measure and compacted,
were shaken and spilled to the outside will be poured into your lap. For the measure you use to measure, will be measured to you. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Said that believing in God is very easy and anyone can say it. But as a human being on pilgrimage and live alongside one another in this world, believe in God would be odd if the concrete application of faith is hollow. Jesus revealed the commands and prohibitions in today's Gospel, so that the wheel of life every day is run in accordance with what has been given - him. Generous as the Father and willing to give and forgive is the command of Jesus to us. Besides the commands, there is also a ban or a warning to us to be careful in the act that do not judge and do not punish.
Maybe we've run what Jesus said today. But we need to ponder again with a really, is it true that our actions, generous, willing to give, not to punish already resemble the Father in heaven? For God causes the sun to the righteous and the wicked. Every living being in this world and breathe the same air indefinitely. Thus, God's grace can not be equaled by humans. We also know how much openness of our hearts for helping, giving and consideration of others. Our patience was often challenged by a variety of live events. Differing views, attitudes of others are opposed to us or anyone else did not meet what we wanted. We ourselves also know how much patience not to punish and judge. So let us improve ourselves while they had the chance.

Prayer.
O Jesus, Bring up our faith so that we could resemble you in everything in our lives every day pilgrimage. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SUNDAY 12 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Sunday, March 12, 2017

First Reading Genesis 12: 1-4a
In the land of Haran God said to Abram, "Leave your land, from your relatives and your father's household and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and bless you and make your name famous;
and thou shalt be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you. And all the families of the earth shall receive a blessing for you. "So Abram departed in accordance with the word of God.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 33: 4-5.18-19.20.22
Your lovingkindness, O Lord, may accompany us, as we look forward to you.
* Word of God is true, everything he does with fidelity.
He was happy to justice and law; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
* Indeed, the eyes of the Lord are upon their piety, to those who hope in His mercy; He was about to release their souls from death and preserve their lives in times of famine.
* Our souls wait for the Lord. He helper and our shield. Your lovingkindness, O Lord, may accompany us, as we look forward to you.

Second Reading 2 Timothy 1: 8b-10
My dear, thanks to the power of God, accept your share of suffering for the gospel of Jesus!
It was he who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to the purpose and the grace of his own. All this was given to us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, and it is now being expressed by the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ. With His gospel of Christ has abolished death and brought life that can not perish.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew 17: 5c
From the bright cloud, a voice of the Father, "This is my beloved Son; listen to Him!"

Gospel reading Matthew 17: 1-9
On one occasion Jesus took Peter, James and John his brother,
and jointly led them up a high mountain. There, they were all alone. And he was transfigured before them;
His face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as the light shines. Then appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, how happy we are at this place. If you want, let make three tents,
one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah. "While he said that, suddenly there came a bright cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud came a voice that said," This is my beloved Son,
in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him! "Hearing that fell down his disciples, and they were terrified. Then Jesus came to them. He touched them, saying," Stand up, do not be afraid! "And when looked up, they saw a except Jesus alone. when they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, "Do you the story of the vision to anyone
before the Son of Man be raised from the dead. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
The story of the call of Abraham (Genesis 1: 1-4a) to ponder in a long series of smaller stories (Gen. 1-11) tells the long story of God's mercy without limit, when the first human jatuk in sin (Gen. 3: 1-14) God gives us a new promise (Gen. 3:15) Likewise, when Cain killed Abel. He gave assurance of salvation to Cain. (Gen 4:15) when people be mean again and punished by the flood (Genesis 6-8) It binds a new covenant with Noah (Gen. 9) And for the umpteenth time when man fell into sin (Gen. 11). He called Abraham to start the work of salvation, a new way (Genesis 12: 1-4a)
Abraham's call was the beginning of a long history, which will be revised in the fullness of time. When "God may be all in all" (1 Cor 15:28), or when it appears a new heaven and a new earth. "The new Jerusalem descend from Heaven (Wahju 21: 1-2) Thus affirmed the belief expressed by the psalmist" For the word of God is true, everything is done - his loyalty ....... earth is full of God's faithfulness , (Psalm 33.4).
The story of salvation history is long, from Genesis to Revelation - should be a source of hope for us who believe, in a long history that tells how God directs history towards the final victory, although we hear, see and experience, often seems contradictory. This belief could encourage the faithful to work hard proclaim the "justice and law" (Ps 13:15) Even if the business is not yet showing results, he will not be discouraged, because God Himself will finish the work of his ministry.

Item contemplation.
Sightings glory of the Lord on Mount Tabor experienced by three disciples of Jesus is an extraordinary event and delivered to us in the second week of Lent. What is the relation? Is not at this time we should contemplate the mystery of the cross of Christ to follow the path of his cross? So true. But news of these sightings should be communicated to us the days of Lent, because this story is a story that brings us to the reflection of faith. Actually what was experienced by these students away from our day to day life experiences, but we do not need to be disappointed if we were not given the gift of sight like that.
When Jesus was transfigured on Mount Tabor, God invites us to listen to Jesus who is the favorite son-Nya.Allah will that we live united with his Son in faith. Therefore, we should not hesitate to listen to Him, though He was rejected and crucified like a criminal. We also need to learn contemplate the mystery of the cross in the struggle for the fullness of life, the glory of the Son of God. The cross of suffering is a necessary process that we go through and we should not jump away. Jesus himself did not want to jump to glory. He dampen strong desire of the students to remain at Mount Tabor, but bring them down down to fight the world, so that Jesus taught us that the road to glory has to go through the cross of suffering, so that when the time comes, we can say: Lord, it is good we at this place

Prayer.
O Lord, may we always be faithful to the cross of suffering that we experience every day. Do not let us give up on the patient. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, (SATURDAY 11 MARCH 2017)

Reading the Liturgy Saturday, March 11, 2017

Reading First UL 26: 16-19
In the wilderness side of the Jordan Moses spoke to the people, "This day the Lord your God has commanded you to do the statutes and regulations do them faithfully,
with all your heart and all your soul. On this day you received a promise from God: He will be your God, and you will live according to His ways, and keep his statutes, commandments and ordinances, and obey him. And on this day, the Lord has received a promise from you that you will be his special people, as he promised thee, and that thou shalt keep all his commands. He will set you high above all the nations as he had promised, to be praised, celebrated and honored. Then you will be a holy people to the LORD your God, as he has promised. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 119: 1-2.4-5.7-8
Blessed are those who walk in the law of God.
* Blessed are those whose life is blameless, who walk in the law of God. Blessed is the person who holds the warnings of his, who seek Him with all their heart.
* You alone have delivered thy precepts, to be held in earnest. It would steady my life to hold on thy statutes!
* I will praise you with an honest heart, when I was studying law - the law - thy fair. I will hold on thy statutes,
Do not leave me entirely.

Introduction to the Gospel 2 Cor 6: 2b
Time is the accepted time. Today is the day of salvation.

Gospel reading Matthew 5: 43-48
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said to His disciples, "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Because then you may be the children of your Father in heaven. For He makes His sun rise
on the evil and the good person as well, the rain was lowered him to the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Is not publicans also do so? And if you only greet your brothers only, what lebihnya than the actions of others? Are not people who do not know God do that much? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Today Jesus teaches us to love your enemy. This teaching seems absurd, does not love always have a place in the relations between family members, between friends and between them we prefer?
Love makes us able to personally call out myself as father, mother, sister or friend. Conversely when love was replaced by hatred, that person becomes the enemy. Therefore, we would ask, "How is it possible to attribute the" love "with" the enemy "? Are they not contradictory. But that does not mean they are not related to each other. For if because of love anyone can call himself beyond personal friend, it is not possible for you, the enemies turn into friends.
Through today's Gospel, Jesus was about to show us another dimension of love. Love is not just a condition or requirement to establish relationships with friends and the people we care about. But in love there is a power and a force capable of changing the people hostile, vengeful each other, hurt each other, persecute or betray your good standing.
One way to love your enemy as we have heard in today's Gospel reading, by praying for them. Indeed, if just pray only that easy, but if the enemy do pray with all your heart, we will find great difficulty, because it means blessed pray to God for him. Praying enemy means ask blessings, mercy and the goodness of God for the person whose conduct is precisely not bless us.
After all pray for the enemy is not enough, for they actually love one's enemies need to demonstrate a clear stand in front of each other. That is why Jesus said that we need to greet, greet and smile. No matter whether it's an act of love will be rewarded with love or not, but the important thing is that we have tried to love that person.
How happy if we live with love, no hostility, so everywhere will find a friend. We try to be perfect, to be humble, to achieve the objectives of our life of Jesus Christ, the Perfection. With repent, renew themselves from day to day, we direct your life in perfection. Perfectly, our identity in God's likeness, materialized.

Item contemplation.
"It was his own father, so surely he dared ride" commented a spectator to a small child (6 years old) who bravely join a circus performer who runs his bike on a rope in a height of 50 meters. The trust of a child to his father deserves thumbs up. The father himself, of course, be cautious with that game. How could a father give up his woe in the game that pleases themselves.
The boy was certainly proud to play along with her parents. He felt proud of the skill possessed father. He, too proud can certainly imitate the greatness that belongs to his father he wanted to be proud of his father to do something like that carried his father is a future goals that exist in a child.
Today's Gospel reminds, that we are children of the Father in heaven, which of course, we must dare "perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect existence", "which makes the rising sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unjust "Pride ourselves as His children is not enough just in words, but it should be quite apparent in the attitude and actions of life.
If indeed we can love others without partiality? If indeed we can love your enemy and pray for those who persecute us? Yes, Jesus did not lie to us. And undeniably course, Jesus told us, but would not let us do everything by myself.
God is a loving Father. She will always be with his people. If the tax collectors can only love others, especially we who pride ourselves as sons and daughters of the Father in Heaven. But pride is not enough. We need to have the Father's heart. Said St. John Chrysostom "You can not call the God Father of all that is good, if you have a heart that is inhumane and cruel"
