When the Lord God made the heavens and the earth, He formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed life into his nostrils. And man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east; and there he put the man whom he had formed. Then the LORD God to grow a tree from the earth, interesting and good for food; in the middle of the garden that he grow a tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Of all the animals on land

Allah said: Do you eat or you touch the fruit, or you'll die. "But the serpent said to the woman," You surely will not die! But God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God,
knowing good and evil. "When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and savory seems, after all, the tree was attractive because it gives understanding. So he took of its fruit, and eat, and gave also to her husband who was with -Same with her; and her husband ate it. then the eyes of both of them, and they knew that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 51: 3-4.5-6a.12-13.14.17
Have mercy on us, O Lord, for we are sinners.
* Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love, according to the magnitude of Your mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!
* For I am aware of my transgressions, my sin is always looming in front of me. Against you, you alone I sinned,
evil in thy sight I did.
* Create a clean heart in me, O God, and Renew steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me!
* Give me the joy of Your salvation, and establish the willing spirit within me. O Lord, open my lips, that my mouth to proclaim praises to You.

Second Reading Rom 5: 12-19
Brethren, sin entered into the world because of one person,
and for that sin, death also entered. And so death spread to all men, because all sinned. For until the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not imputed when there is no law. Yet from the time of Adam to the time of Moses death reigned also over those who did not sin in the same way as it has been created by Adam, who is a picture of him to come. But the gift of God is not like the transgression of Adam.
For if by the offense of one man that everyone has fallen into the power of death, so much great is the grace and the grace of God, the grace of everyone because of one man, Jesus Christ.
The grace of God is much bigger than one man's sin. For the judgment of the violations that have resulted in condemnation,
while the gift of grace for many breaches have resulted in justification. So, if by the sin of one man death reigned, it is true that occurs on those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness; they shall reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as by one offense all people receive condemnation, so also through one act of righteousness hath everyone justification for living. So as by one man's disobedience all were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one many be made righteous.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew 4: 4b
Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Gospel reading Matthew 4: 1-11
On one occasion Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness so tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, finally laparlah Jesus. Then the tempter came and said to him,
"If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."
But Jesus answered, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone,
but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. "Then the devil took Jesus to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple. Then the devil said to Him," If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written: regarding thou He will command His angels, and they will menatang thee on his hand, so that your feet do not stumble to the stone. "
Jesus said to him, "It is written: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God!" Then the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in all its glory. The devil said to Him, "All this I will give You, if You fall down and worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Get behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" Then the devil left Jesus, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
Posts words banner ever read is true: "Accidents are usually preceded by the infringement" It's a vehicle accident can be caused by a tire explode or ngantuknya the driver. But the feasibility of the tires and the condition of the driver is actually included road traffic regulations. In other words, disaster or calamity is usually preceded by a violation or disobedience to the rules of the game. Conversely safety or smoothness is also determined by obedience or order someone to rule.
Painting above is also suitable for contrasting the first reading and the Gospel today. Adam and Eve's disobedience brought disaster to mankind, namely sin and death. Instead Jesus' obedience to the Word of God to bring us salvation. That is what Paul described in the letter to the Romans in the second reading today. So just as by the disobedience of the one man were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man smua people become righteous "In the Gospel, Jesus resisted all the temptations and trials of the devil. And Jesus was always resisted that temptation through biblical argument, namely quote Scripture is the Word of God himself.
We must admit that we are vulnerable to the temptations and trials. We know that we must reject the temptation, but it's not easy. However we are aware that our obedience to the Word of God will lead us to victory over temptation temptation. Jesus, our Lord has led us to defeat the evil spirits the tempter. The most real way we live is aware of the temptation, pray a lot and sip the Word of God, and to overcome the temptation on the basis of God's grace from minute to minute, hour to hour, from day to day. One by one we overshoots, and see how beautiful the road we have traveled so far. With God we can afford.

Item Reflections
Temptation in the world is now hidden in a blanket pleasure, power and money. By adhering to the struggle of Jesus through fasting and repentance, we can see the trials that test our loyalty to God. We also have a lot of temptation but when relying too much on yourself, it is easier to master ourselves devil. So let us return to God, let us be in Jesus' power to defeat evil. Never give in to the devil because Jesus was more powerful. He saved us once and for all.

Prayer.
O God, teach us to be faithful to face the challenges, trials, and hardships we experienced every day. Amen.
