PF S. Frances of Rome, the Nuns

First Reading T.Est 3: 10a.10c-12.17-19
In times of great danger strikes, Queen Esther also took refuge in God. He asked God, the God of Israel, saying, "My Lord, our King, thou art a single one. Help me alone this. To me there is no helper besides you, because the danger of death approached me. Since my childhood I have heard in the family my father, that thou, O Lord,
has chosen Israel from among all nations, and our ancestors have you pick from among all their ancestors, that they belong to thy eternal; and have you carried out for them what you promised. Remember, O Lord, and Thy manifest themselves so good in our time of trouble. Give me courage, King of gods and Lord of all power! Put words in my mouth savory against the lion, and edit his heart so into hate to those who fight against us, so that man and all that favors him die. But deliver us with thy hand, and help me that this alone, who has no one other than You, O Lord.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 138: 1-2a.2bc-3.7c-8
On the day I called, you will answer me, O Lord.
* I will praise thee with my whole heart, in the presence of the gods I will sing praises to thee. I will worship toward thy holy temple.
* I will praise thy name, because of your love and faithfulness thy
because Thou thy name and thy word above all things. On the day I called, you answered me yet, you add strength in my soul.
* Lord, your right hand will save me, you will solve everything for me! O Lord, your unfailing love eternal,
Do not forsake works of your hands!

Introduction to the Gospel Ps 51: 12a.14a
Create a clean heart in me, O God, grant me the joy of Your salvation.

Gospel reading Matthew 7: 7-12
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said to the disciples of his, "Ask, and you shall be given; seek, and ye shall receive; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, everyone who seeks will receive and everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. is there any one of you who gave the stone to his son, if he asked for bread, or give him a serpent if he asks for a fish? So if you are evil, know to give good gifts to your children, especially Father in heaven! He will give you a good
to those who ask Him. "Everything that you wish that people do to you, do the same to them. That is the law and the prophets.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Devotional.
At the moment we are experiencing calamity or disaster, we will be easy to ask: "Where are you, Lord?" There are people who lost homes, lost all his property, even his family members due to death. The man said, "For crying course, this alone could not and can not" In our hearts will ask, "Lord, why is this all happening?"
Very well distress experienced by Queen Esther in the first reading today. In the spirit of solidarity with his people, the Jews, who are facing the enemy. Queen Esther could only turn to the Lord: "O Lord, our King ...., help us ...... Me no helper but Thou" Jesus said in the Gospel: "He will give good gifts to those who ask Him. Our God the Father was very good and generous.
But is not it felt there was only darkness and obscurity when calamity or distress come upon us? Where God the Father is really good is that? The fact that bad it can not direct us to understand its meaning. But the hallmark of the Christian faith is hopeless, never lost faith and hope in the goodness of our God, Where is the bottom? Is essentially the experience of faith of the whole Church, our families, our communities, as said by Queen Esther: "Since my childhood I have heard in the family my father that thou, O Lord ....... has been carrying out for them what you promised" We know from history that God is good and always kind and caring to his people.

Item contemplation.
When our prayers are not met according to our expectations, then why is because we desire not the best wishes. For us as believers, the words St. Teresia Kanak Kanak Jesus this very subject: "If you do not grant my prayer, O Lord the more I love you."
This is presumably the meaning of faith in our prayers, God would justify our prayer is not perfect. He wants to deepen and strengthen the faith, hope and love. In a situation of life that we experience when we pray, He is present and will confer reassurance, although the ability to overcome our understanding.

Prayer.
Yes God is benevolent, we teach your people to be steadfast live life this difficult and also teach your people that do not forget the faith, hope and love. Amen.
