First Reading Exodus 17: 3-7
Once, after the Israelites through the wilderness of Sin,
and camped at Rephidim, kehausanlah them there. Then the people murmured against Moses and said, "Why would you bring us up out of Egypt, to kill our children and our cattle with thirst?" Then-summon Moses cried to the Lord, he said, "What will I do with this people? They be almost ready to stone me!" Then the Lord spake unto Moses, "Walk on before the people, and bring along some people
from among the elders of Israel; Bring your rod also were wearing struck the Nile, and go. I will be standing there in front of you
on the rock in Horeb; pukulah rock it, and out of them will be out of water, so that the people may drink. "Moses did before the eyes of the elders of Israel. Then he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites had quarreled, and because they have tempt God by saying, "Is the Lord among us or not?"
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalm Ps 95: 1-2.6-7.8-9
On this day, if you hear the voice of God, do not be hard-hearted.
* Let us sing to the Lord, cheering on the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving song,
cheering for him with the singing of psalms. * Come, let us bow down, kneel before the Lord who made us. For he is our God, we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of His flock.
* On this day, if you hear his voice, Do not hard-hearted as at Meribah, as in the period of time being in the wilderness, when your fathers tried and tested me, though they saw my works.

Second Reading Rom 5: 1-2.5-8
Brothers, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through whom we also obtain entry into the grace of God. In love we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly at the time appointed by God. For one will hardly die for a righteous man, but perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that Christ died for us while we were still sinners.
Thus saith the Lord.

Introduction to the Gospel of John 4: 42.15
Lord, You are the savior world.
Give me the water of life, so I was not thirsty anymore.

Gospel reading John 4: 5-42
On one occasion Jesus went to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the land that formerly Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Jacob's well was there. Jesus, tired from the journey, because it was he sitting in the well. Today approximately twelve o'clock. Then came a Samaritan woman about to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me to drink!" For the disciples of Jesus had gone to buy food. So the Samaritan woman said to him, "Thou cuisine, a Jew, ask a drink with me, a Samaritan?" Understandably Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus replied, "If you knew the gift of God and who he is saying to you 'Give me a drink' undoubtedly you have asked Him, and He has given you living water."
The woman said to Him, "Lord, you have no bucket and the well is deep; where did you obtain the living water?
Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us this well and he himself had been drinking from it,
he and his children, and his livestock? "Jesus replied," Whoever drinks of this water will be thirsty again! But whoever drinks the water that I shall give him, he will not thirst for ever.
Instead the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring, which constantly springing up into everlasting life. "
The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, so I will not get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw." Jesus said to him, "Go, call your husband and come here." The woman said, "I do not have a husband." Jesus said to him,
"Exactly what you say, that you do not have a husband, for you've had five husbands, and who now is in you was not your husband. What you have said is true." The woman said to Jesus, "Lord, now evident to me, that you are a prophet.
Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say,
that Jerusalem is the place where people worship. "Jesus said to him,
"Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You worship what you do not know, but we worship what we know, because salvation comes from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, that the true worshiper will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks worshipers that way. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth. " The woman said, "I know that Messiah, who is called Christ, is coming; when it comes, He will tell everything to us."
Jesus said to him, "I am he, who was conversing with you!" At that time the disciples came to Jesus, and they wonder
that Jesus was speaking with a woman.
But nobody said, "What do you want? Or: What are you talking with her?"
Meanwhile the woman left her water jar and went into town and said to the people there, "Come, look! There's a man who told me everything I have done.
Could this be the Christ? "So they left the town and were coming to him. Meanwhile, Jesus invites the disciples, he said,
"Rabbi, eat!" But Jesus said to them, "In my last meal you do not know." Then the disciples said to one another, "Is there anyone who has brought something to him to eat?" Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me and completing his work. Did not you say, 'Four months more and then comes the harvest'?
But I tell you: Look around, and look at the fields are ripe for harvest. Now also harvester has received his reward, and he gathers fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper equally rejoice. Because in this case it is true the adage 'One man sows and another reaps'. I sent you to reap what you have not labored.
Other people tried, and you have entered into their labor. "
Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in Jesus
because the word of the woman, who testified, "He told me everything I have done." So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they asked Him, Jesus to stay with them, and Jesus also stayed there two days. And more and more people became believers because of the words of Jesus, and they said to the woman, "We believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him

Devotional.
Samaritan woman came to draw water at Jacob's well to be made unnerved by Jesus who was sitting there. His way Jesus opened the mysteries of the Kingdom of God to the Samaritan woman, and the woman finally see that secret, that He is present in front of his eyes is the messenger of Allah. Jesus assures her that his heart that opens has ushered him to realize that worship God must be in spirit and in truth.
Worship God must be in spirit because God is Spirit. It is used to do when we attend church. But it's enough that we worship only within the Church alone? Obviously not. Jesus made it clear that worship God must also in the truth because Jesus is the truth. And the real truth is that the alignments of Jesus to the poor when he lived with them. Jesus worship His Father not only in spirit, in prayer prayer - his, but also in his actions that actually show the truth. Thus, let us realize that worship the Father was not only in church, but also outside the Church, in a community that desperately need justice. We must make a commitment to live in balance between worship the Father in spirit and worship the Father in truth. Therefore pray and act fairly is a manifestation of faith that makes people right with God.

Prayer.
Father, guide our hearts by the Holy Spirit thy people - thy that as followers of Christ we are more balanced in life and our work. Amen.

God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship
Him in spirit and truth
