Reading the Liturgy 11 November 2015
PES. Martinus, Bishop
Reading 1: Wis 6: 2-11
O kings who ruled the crowd and boast because of your people, incline your ear. For the LORD has given you the power, and the Lord will be exalted origin rule. He will examine all your work and dive your plan. Because actually you just servants of His kingdom. So if you do not govern properly, nor keep the law, or not valid according to the will of God,
He will come to you with a powerful and fast. The court that will inevitably befall his officials. Indeed, the subordinates can be forgiven for mercy, but the mastery will severely tortured.
God Almighty will not back down to anyone, and the greatness of people ignored him. Both small and large made by him,
and maintained his all in the same way. But towards the mastery will take hard examination. So these words are upon you, princes. You should learn to be wise
and do not fall. For those who maintain that the holy scriptures
will be purified as well, and that in the event that the educated will have a defense.
So let desire and longing for words, then you will be educated.
Thus saith the Lord.
Psalms: Psalm 82: 3-4.6-7
Arise, O God, judge the earth.
* "Give justice to the weak and the orphan, Defend the rights of the poor and the needy! Rescue the weak and needy,
deliver them from the hand of the wicked. "
* I myself have said, "You are gods, all of you are children of the Most High. But ye shall die like men, and like a magnifying you would be dead."
Gospel: Luke 17: 11-19
On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing along the urban Samaria and Galilee. When he entered a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance and shouted, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" Jesus then looked at them and said, "Go, show yourself to the priest." And while on the way, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice, and fell at the feet of Jesus
and give thanks to Him. The man was a Samaritan. Then Jesus said, "Were not ten cleansed?
Where are the other nine that? Are there not among them
back to glorify God except this foreigner? "
Then he said to him, "Stand up and go, your faith has saved thee."
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.
Afterthought
Parents many times to teach young children to say "thank you" when you receive something, when the child receives bread from the hands and silent, parents will say, "Come on, say what?" Then the little boy said "Thanks "
If since our childhood we have been taught ber thank you, why now to say "thank you" just difficult. Ten lepers in today's Gospel being one example, how hard people are grateful and thank kash ber. Of the ten that only one returned and air thanks. One man alone was a Samaritan, meaning the so-called infidels, does not know God. Mungkinjuga not "air school", not educated, although once he actually ungrateful.
One person who knows thanks Samaritan was a byword for all of us. We are not infidels, we are believers. However, easy is our mouth to say thank you? Is not it easier to say aspersion aspersion or petition - the petition, which once granted also forget ber thank you? Attitudes or behaviors that must be trained, socialized and practiced, not just enough to know. When only a stop on the "know", so will stop in the brain alone. Lips and our mouths becomes difficult to say it. Let us find for this day, to whom we should ber thank you.
Items to contemplation
Jesus came into the world to liberate, helpful and happy man, therefore if one is coming to him, Jesus memimta only one condition alone or without asking Jesus to grant the request that person. Conditions are given very easily, because there is something more important than that, Jesus wants us to believe in Him. The attitude of faith in Jesus brings a major positive impact for the person and for the life together. Because, it means we accept Jesus as Lord and received the entire teachings.
Prayer
O God, teach us to express our gratitude by sharing the love of neighbor. Amen.

Reading the Liturgy 10 November 2015
PW S. Leo the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church
Reading 1: Wis 2: 23-3: 9
God has created man for immortality, and he made his own image of his essence. But because the demons envy death entered into the world,
and which belongs to the devil seek death. But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. In the view of the foolish they seemed to die, and their home was considered a disaster, and we are seen as a departure from destruction. But they are in peace. Even if they were tortured in the view of man,
but their hope is full of immortality. After being tortured for a while they received a great gift, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace they are by him, and received like a burnt offering. Then at the time of their retaliation will glow, and the like sparks run around in a field of hay.
They will judge the nation and govern all the people. And the Lord was pleased rule them forever. Those who have trusted in God will understand the truth, and faithful in love shall stay on him. For mercy and compassion become part of the chosen people of God.
Thus saith the Lord.
Psalm: Ps 34: 2-3.16-19
I will bless the Lord at all times.
* I will bless the Lord at all times; praise Him always be in my mouth. Because the Lord my soul boast; let the humble hear and rejoice.
* The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, ears unto their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil
to wipe out the memory of them from the earth. * When the righteous cry out, and the Lord listened; them from all their troubles he release. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Gospel: Luke 17: 7-10
Jesus said to the disciples, "Who among you who has a servant plowing or grazing him, will say to the servant when he returned from the field, 'Come immediately eat'? Did not otherwise she would say to the servant," Provide my food . Tie to serve me until I eat and drink! And after that you may eat and drink. ' Is there she is grateful to that servant because he did what was assigned to him? In the same way you guys.
If you have done everything that is assigned to you, let you say, 'We are useless servants; we just did what we had to do '. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.
Afterthought
Sometimes our hearts are always asking little appreciated, praised and respected, including from the Lord himself when we had completed his mission. Sometimes we become uncomfortable and unhappy if they are not recognized by others or praised. For example, after helping someone and that person does not say thank you, we sometimes irritated. When we became champions and others do not respect us, we feel hurt, obviously this is not true because we are only servants were told to do something by God himself.
We are servants of God and commissioned by Him to do the world ini.Apabila this task completed we should not be arrogant and asked to be served the Lord. We are expected to remain humble and hope: "I am a useless servant, I'm just doing what I should do"
Items to contemplation
We should have been happy that we can complete the mission of God and be thankful for it. We should not expect a reward or praise of God or anyone else. Moreover, all of the capabilities that enable us to do this, everything is a gift from God himself. The faithful should live as a servant before God Because God, man has been redeemed from sin and death, so that human beings belong to God. Thus the totality of human life should be directed to the will of God.
Prayer
Yes, God's work of redemption we are grateful for you, thanks to the blood of your Son we were supposed to be destroyed to get a life, Teach us to serve you with the rest of our lives. Amen.

Reading 2: 1 Cor 3: 9b-11.16-17
Brethren, ye are God's husbandry and building his. In accordance with the grace of God that was given to me, I as a competent builder have laid the foundation, and someone else is building on it. But let every man take heed how he builds on that basis. Because no one can lay any foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Thus saith the Lord.
Gospel: John 2: 13-22
When it is near the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
In his temple found merchants oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting there. Then Jesus made a whip of cords and drove them all out of the temple
with all the flocks and cattle; money changers scattered him to the ground, and their tables overturned him.
The merchants of doves He said, "Take these things away,
You shall not make my Father's house into a place to sell! "Then the disciples remembered Jesus that it was written," Zeal for your house will devour me. "But the Jews challenged Jesus, he said," What sign can you show us , that thou doest these things? "
Jesus answered them, "Tear down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." Then the Jews said to him: "Forty-six years to build this temple, and you can build it in three days?" But that meant the temple of His body is his own. After Jesus rose from the dead, then remembered by His disciples that it had been said to him. Then believe they will be scripture and the word that was spoken by Jesus.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

"But Elijah said to him," Do not be afraid, go home, make it look like you're saying, but make advance me a piece of cake smaller than him, and bring it to me, then then you made for yourselves and for your children. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel: The jar of flour will not run out, and oil in the jar will not be reduced until the time God sends rain upon the earth. "

The Lord loves the righteous. God keep strangers.
* Orphans and widow back, but the way of the wicked is bent him. God is King forever, your God, O Zion, from generation to generation!
Reading 2: Hebrews 9: 24-28
Brothers and sisters, Christ has entered into the sanctuary not made by human hands, which is just a picture of the true sanctuary,
but into heaven itself to appear before the presence of God in our behalf.
He was not repeated entrance to dedicate himself,
as Archpriest every year into the sanctuary's blood that is not his own blood.
Because if so, Christ had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now it turns out, in these last days, he only once declared himself to abolish sin through His sacrifice.
God's appointed unto men once to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was once sacrificed Himself
to bear the sins of many. Then he will reveal himself again, not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who wait for Him.
Thus saith the Lord.
Introduction to Gospel
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Gospel: Mark 12: 38-44
One day, in his teaching, Jesus said to the crowd,
"Beware of the scribes! They like to walk around wearing long robes and like greetings in the market. They like to occupy places in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets.
They annexed widows' houses while trick people with long-term prayer. These will receive a more severe punishment. "
On another day, while sitting opposite the treasury,
Jesus noticed how the people cast money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large amounts. Then came a poor widow. He put in two small copper coins, which is a farthing.
Then Jesus called his disciples and said to them, "I tell you, poor widow gave more than all those who put money into the treasury. For they all gave out of their abundance, but the widow gave of its shortcomings; all available to him, the whole livelihoods. "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Parents who love their children will do its utmost to support them, ranging from providing food to drink to finance education. That is the meaning of love that accomplishment in their daily lives. Love can be a wide variety of sources, family life, friendships, felt the same boat, and others. But the love that comes to faith have a strong motivation, because faith is the basis of a person's inner life. Man's relationship with God and one another that is based in love, will reverberate until kelubuk heart's deepest and sticking out in courage gave himself wholly to a loved one.
The story of the widow in Zarephath (1 Kings 17: 10-16) fragment observation echoed in Jesus as the poor widow giving alms (Mk 12: 38-44) shows the meaning of faith evident in the extraordinary action. How could a widow in Zarephath would provide water and bread which is the foundation of his own life? And how the donated money for their living day temple without worrying that his life would be threatened? This is the privilege of believing in a God who acts as the only foundation of life. Instead of water, bread and money, living day to day, but trust in God who gives life, would allow the actions of a weak person who should actually need to get the protection of a group of people, both the widow Faith may be an expression of total submission to the Operator's life

Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their own necks for my life. To whom not only do I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. Greetings also to the church in their house. Greet Epaenetus, my beloved brother, who is the first fruit of the region of Asia for Christ. Greet Mary, who has worked hard for you.
Greet Andronicus and Junia, my brothers countrymen, who once imprisoned together with me, that people who are prominent among the apostles and who have become Christians before I did.
Ampliatus greetings to the beloved in the Lord. Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and greetings to Stachys, my dear.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. Greetings to you from all the churches of Christ. Greeting you in the Lord of Tertius, that I, who wrote this letter. Greetings to you from Gaius, who gave a lift to me and to the whole congregation. Greetings to you from Erastus, treasurer, and of Quartus, our brother.
The grace of Jesus Christ our Lord, be with you all! Amen. To him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the confidential statement, which silenced for centuries, but which now has been declared and that according to the commandment of God eternal, has been reported by our books the prophets to all nations to guide them to the obedience of faith for him, the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be glory forever! Amen.
Thus saith the Lord.
Psalms: Psalm 145: 2-5,10-11
I will bless thy name for ever, O God my king.
Every day I will bless thee, and want to glorify thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is not unexpected.
Force-by force will praise thy works, and will proclaim thy strength. Lively glory of thy majesty and thy deeds that will magically sing.
Everything that you make will praise thee, O Lord, and the people you love will give you praise. They will announce the glory of thy kingdom, and will talk about your strength,
Gospel: Luke 16: 9-15
Jesus said unto Tie friendship by using dishonest Mammon, so if Mammon can not help anymore, you are accepted in the tent forever. "" Whoever-faithful in a small matter, he is faithful also in great things. And whoever is not true in the case of small-case, it is not true also in great things. So, if you have not been faithful in the dishonest Mammon, who will entrust the true riches?
And if you are not faithful in someone else's property, who will hand over their own wealth to you? A servant can not serve two masters. Because if so he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You can not serve both God and money. "
Everything was heard by the Pharisees, the servants of the money, and they ridiculed him. Then he said to them: "You justify themselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is admired man, hated by God.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.
Afterthought
God created planting plants that produce fruit, can bear fruit through the roots, stems and so forth. Thus the growth takes place.
Man was created to develop in the universe, humans maintain, develop and use in order to better their lives, thus, humanity bear responsibility for all creation. God gave us the sense to recognize and maintain the truth. God gave us the heart to
love that is spiritual, so we know that the divine and to the divine life.
However, what happens? There is a phrase that says: "Everything is good when out of the hands of God, everything is starting to damage when it comes to human hands" This expression needs to be a reflection of where we are called to be fruitful, not destructive.
Upbringing led to faith and service loyalty, evident in the experience of the Apostle Paul. Priscilla and Aquila, and another name is referred to as Paul's faithful colleagues in building the faith of the church. They not only sacrificing power, but give yourself and as a co-worker of Paul. Knowledge of the Lord to make them willing and able to do many things with sincerity. This is the fruit of friendship and knowledge of God.
What about friendship than from God? There is a saying: "There yams, taro there, there is no reply of gratitude," Friendship is thus not bad, it is something that is fair, just backfire for us when faced with a clear and decisive choice. He was one of them or one of them in life?
Gospel does not provide an option that makes us doubt or situation that positions attitude awry. Above we've been reminded that all that is good in this world when out of the hands of God, but it starts to break down when in the hands of man, why become damaged and often life before the selection dilemma?
Items to contemplation.
Let us bear in mind together. Good if handled those well-intentioned, would be both adanya.Tetapi, if handled people who intend not good, will dilemma becomes. Therefore be steadfast and always have good intentions. Hopefully, the situation is bad and tempting not drop us.

O God, you give us the ability to work and serve. Teach us to appreciate the simple things in life and faithful. Amen.

DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6, 2015
Liturgical readings Friday, November 6, 2015
Part 1: Romans 15: 14-21
Brethren, I myself am convinced about you, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able to instruct one another. However, because of the grace that God has bestowed to me, I'm here and there to have written more boldly to you to remind you, that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the nations Gentile in preaching the gospel of God, so that the nations not Jews can be accepted by God as an offering that is acceptable to him, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. So in Christ, I could boast about my ministry to God. For I will not dare to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles to the obedience, by word and deed,
by the power of signs and wonders and by the power of the Spirit. So on the way from Jerusalem to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
And in this way I regard as my honor, that I did not do it in places where Christ has not been named, so as not to build on the foundation that has been laid out to others, but as it is written: "They, who were not told about him will see him, and those who have never heard will understand. "
Psalms: Psalm 98: 1-4
The Lord declared his salvation before the nation
Sing a new song to the Lord, for he has done marvelous deeds; Safety has been done to him by his right hand, by the arm of his holiness. God has introduced safety of him, has declared his justice in the sight of the nations.
He remembers mercy and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel, all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Shout out to the Lord, all the earth, rejoice! Shout and Sing praises!
Gospel: Luke 16: 1-8
And Jesus said to the disciples to him, "There was a rich man who had a treasurer. To it delivered allegation, that the treasurer was dissipating hers. Then he called the treasurer and said to him: What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your business, because you can no longer work as treasurer, said the treasurer was in his heart: 'What should I do? My master dismissed me from my position as treasurer. hoe I'm not able, to beg I am ashamed. I know what I'm doing, so that when I fired from my position as treasurer, there are people that will hold me in their home. Then he called one by one that is indebted to his master. He said to the first: How much you owe to my lord? The man replied, 'A hundred measures of oil. And he said to him : This is the letter of your debt, sit down and make other debt instruments now: Fifty jar. Then he said to the latter: And what is your debt? The man replied, 'A hundred measures of wheat. Said to him: This is the letter of your debt, make other debt instruments: Eighty carry. The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of the world against each other more astute than the children of light.
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.
Afterthought

Handed us each a certain service work, of course we are happy if the service when we are praised for successfully developing and our work. That makes us happy and proud they should is because more and more people get to know God and experience His love, gratitude gratitude through our service it.
Prayer.

DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY NOVEMBER 4, 2015
Reading the Liturgy Thursday, November 5, 2015
Part 1: Romans 14: 7-12
Saudar sisters, none of us lives for himself, and no one dies for himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead, as well as on the living. But you, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. For it is written: "As I live, saith the Lord, every knee will bow before me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
So every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Psalms: Psalm 27: 1,4,13-14
I believe it will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom should I be afraid? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
One thing have I asked the Lord, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and enjoyed his temple. Indeed, I believe it will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait on the Lord! Be strong and courageous! And wait for the Lord!
Gospel: Luke 15: 1-10
The publicans and sinners usually come to Jesus to listen to him. Then murmured the Pharisees and scribes, saying, "He receives sinners and eats together with them." Then he told this parable to them: "Who among you has a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he put it on his shoulders, rejoicing, and on arrival at the house he calls together her friends and neighbors-tetanggan and said to them: Rejoice together with me, for my sheep that was lost has been found.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine joy of the righteous people who need no repentance. "
"Or women Which of having ten drachmas, and if he loses one of them, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when he finds it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying: Rejoice together with me, for the lost coin which I have found. I tell you, there is joy in the angels of God over one sinner who repents. "
Similarly, the Gospel of the Lord.
Afterthought
Envy presumably not only the attitude of a small child. Envy can also be attacked by an adult. Because of its already mature, already large, the response of his attitude too "big" Even up to dangerous, because the lives of people can float because of envy that makes the heart sick. People envy became ill, overwhelming feeling throughout her at the end, instead of pikiran.Iri careful also not the monopoly of people who are less educated. Everyone, no exception, school or not, high or low degree, could have contracted the "disease" envy and can be fatal.
Situation Gospel reading can you care, In the first two verses, the people who shunned society, like the publican (tax collector), sinners (including here are prostitutes) used to come to Jesus to listen to him, Terrific not, despite his questionable crowd, still took time to listen to the teachings of Jesus. Why do the Pharisees and scribes be happy? Why are they complaining tentacle?
We like who? Those who sin? Or like the scribes and Pharisees felt myself know many things, feel themselves worthy of life?
Items to contemplation.
Let us come to Jesus and listening to His word. If our hearts are still felt attracted and intrigued, means that our conscience is not dead. Perhaps the moment has not dared converted. God is waiting for us to "return to the Father" like the prodigal son. Father would always look for the lost and received with joy. How do we respond?
Prayer.
Father, may our faith in Jesus Your Son into wealth for us in the joy of life, Amen.
