First Reading Heb 11: 1-7
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For it is by faith had given testimony to our ancestors. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that what we see has happened from what we can not see. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. By which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts, and through faith he still speaks, though he is dead. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death, and he was not found, because God took him. For before he was lifted, he obtained witness that he was pleasing to God. But without faith it is impossible to please God. Because anyone who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. By faith Noah, being warned - by God about things not yet seen - with fear, prepared an ark to save his family; by the which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Every day I will bless thee, and wanted to glorify thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is not unexpected. Forces for the sake of generation shall praise thy works, and will proclaim thy might.

Gospel reading Mark 9: 2-13
One day Jesus was talking about how he will suffer. After that he took Peter, James and John, and together they went up to a high mountain. There, they were all alone. And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became very white flashing. Nobody in this world

Devotional.
Hebrew letter which was read at Mass today said that faith is of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith does make us capable of always hope because we believe that God will never leave us alone. But what is the meaning of faith as the evidence of things not seen? In the movie "Quo Vadis" early Christians demonstrated courage when facing death for their faith and serve the food of wild animals. It happened at the stadium Nero, as the spectacle of the people. Christians are already at the threshold of martyrdom does not become frightened, by contrast, they valiantly even sing songs of praise to God. Incredible scenery was stunning for many spectators. First Reading Genesis 11: 1-9
As for the whole earth, one language and the same. So they went to the east and encountered flat ground in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. They said to one another, "Let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They had brick for stone, and tar for mortar.
Then they said, "Come, let us build us a city and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make a name, lest we be scattered all over the earth." Then there came the Lord to see the city and the tower which the sons of men, and He said: "They are one people with one language for everything. It's just the beginning of their business; from now on whatever they want, no that would not be possible. Let us go down and confuse their language, so that they no longer understand each other's language. " So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth, and from there the Lord scattered them all over the earth.
Psalm Ps 33: 10-11.12-13.14-15
God thwarted plans of the nations;
He negates the draft tribes; but God's plan remain forever, the design of his heart to all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, tribes, whom he chose to be his own!
God looked down from heaven, he sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he consider all the inhabitants of the earth. He is forming their hearts all, are paying attention to their work.
Gospel reading Mark 8: 34-9: 1
On one occasion Jesus called the crowd and his disciples,
and said to them, "If any man will come after me,

In today's Gospel Jesus tells his disciples to follow Him requisite requirements. One of the requirements to follow Him is willing to carry the cross - his. This requirement is not an option for the students, but rather a necessity. As followers of Christ, we also have an obligation to bear our cross, respectively. God gave the cross to us in accordance with our respective capabilities. Then there is no one who fails to follow Christ just as his cross was too heavy and beyond his ability.

So God to confuse human language, so that people strewn across the earth and willing to learn humility of having to learn any language of his neighbor.
Gospel proclaims salvation which is exactly opposite to the sins of pride and greed. Road safety is the path to follow Jesus that the conditions actually deny themselves, take up the cross, following Jesus is the willingness to dare to lose his life for Jesus. This is what the law of the Kingdom of God. If we want all to have, we will lose the life. However, if we are willing to let go and empty ourselves for Christ's sake, we actually get the true life abundant.
Prayer.
My God, mampukanlah us to be faithful to our cross each in following the trail and road - Mu. Amen.

First Reading Genesis 9: 1-13
Then God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

Every moving thing that lives shall be food. I have given it all to you as well as greenery. Only flesh with its life, namely his blood, you shall not eat. And he ordered them to hard, not to tell anyone about him.
He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things. He will be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and rise after three days. It is said this openly. We must admit that we humans are eating everything. Try it, what we eat. Of the types of vegetables, various kinds of leaves late, various kinds of animals even cobra else, all we eat. Reading First Gen 8: 6-13.20-22
After forty days, Noah opened the window he had made in the ark. Then he sent out a raven; and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. Then Noah sent out a dove to see if the waters had receded from the earth. But the dove did not get a foothold legs and he returned back to get Noah into the ark, because of all the earth, there is still water; and Noah reached out and caught the bird and brought it into the ark. He waited seven more days and then sent out the dove from the ark; towards the evening the dove returned to get Noah, and carrying in its beak a fresh olive leaf. Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. Furthermore waited another seven days and then sent out the dove, but the bird was not returned to him. In the six hundred years, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the water was dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and look around; that the surface of the ground was dry.
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord; of every clean animal and of every clean bird took some tail, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. When the Lord smelt fragrant offering it, the Lord spake in his heart: "I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth, and I will not destroy again every living creature as I have done. While the earth still, will not cease sowing season and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night. "

How will repay to the Lord all the good things upon me?

"I see people! I see them walking around, but it seems like trees walking." He then placed his hands on the man's eyes again. Then that person seriously look and has been healed, so that he could see everything clearly. And Jesus sent him home to his house and said, "Do not go into the village!"

Devotional.
Everyone has pain, whether sick or unwell. Human healing process of the pain can also be slow or fast. Today's Gospel tells of Jesus healing the blind man at Bethsaida. How Jesus healed the blind man terkasan somewhat unique, where Jesus spat on his eyes and put his hand over it, and asked, "Do you see anything? "The blind man said," I see men, for I see them walking the street, but it seems like the trees "Then he again laid his hands on the man's eyes so he can see clearly. Why did not Jesus heal her just once? Why should two times when He has tremendous power. The answer is that Jesus wanted to teach us that everything requires a process. To achieve something that is expected, one must step over step by step.
In this life we often make mistakes or sins that make our fellow wounded hearts and keep us from God and others. But God will never abandon us, God wants to heal us from sin and guilt that we have done it. God does not directly heal the whole. God allowed us to come to Him, repented of sin and confess before him, through the Sacrament of Repentance. Everyone has pain, whether sick or unwell. Human healing process of the pain can also be slow or fast. Today's Gospel tells of Jesus healing the blind man at Bethsaida. How Jesus healed the blind man terkasan somewhat unique, where Jesus spat on his eyes and put his hand over it, and asked, "Do you see anything? "The blind man said," I see men, for I see them walking the street, but it seems like the trees "Then he again laid his hands on the man's eyes so he can see clearly. Why did not Jesus heal her just once? Why should two times when He has tremendous power. The answer is that Jesus wanted to teach us that everything requires a process. To achieve something that is expected, one must step over step by step.
In this life we often make mistakes or sins that make our fellow wounded hearts and keep us from God and others. I suggest to you, when shopping at the supermarket or supermarket should we bring a written list of groceries. We should avoid, shopping by spontaneity. Word of God today is one of Jesus' Sermon on the hill that is about the business of sanctifying life (including marriage) radical with not commit adultery.
The teaching of Jesus that does not allow divorce, except for immorality (ay32), actually shows two fundamental things about life and marriage
First, that the marriage was in fact alive and sacred. Because it is not just any holy do divorce.
Second, that adultery is a sin. That is why Jesus asked that the solution had to be radical. That is, it should start from the heart and mind of a person.
We know that the heart and mind is the center of life. Therefore, Jesus insisted that his holy, holy lakunyapun behavior, if his mind toil, yet his actions well. Jesus reveals that sin comes from the heart and mind, before it was revealed in action. For God, man can not be half-half fulfill his will .. Even to say, if there are members of the body are misleading, we should be beheaded. (Ay29). God wants our whole life is holy and righteous. Piety God wants not only looked outside, but that comes from the mind and the deepest depths of our hearts.
Devotional.
Let us get rid of things that can be dropped us to sin (sexual) that, like reading pornography, pornographic VCD, sites porn sites on the internet and so forth, because it can be a means for us to sin. Let us fill our hearts and minds, for example with spiritual reading that build our lives.
Important, too, celebrate the sacrament of penance to wash away our sins and sanctified life.
