The Guardian Angels

Reading 1: Exodus 23: 20-23a
This is the word of the Lord, "Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Take care of yourself in front of him and hear his words, do not rebel against him, for transgressions will not diampuninya, because my name is in him. But if you really listen to their words, and do all that I speak, then I will demolish your enemy, and win over your opponent.
For my angel will go before you. "
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalms: Psalm 91: 1-2.3-4.5-6.10-11
Angels will be commanded to guard you in all your ways.
* The person who sits in the shelter of the Most High, and lodged in the shadow of the Almighty would say to the Lord,
"The Lord is a refuge and stronghold fortress, my God, I believe in."
* Indeed, he shall deliver thee from the snare of a bird catcher,
of plague rotten. With his wing He will cover you,
under His wings you shall take refuge, His faithfulness is a shield and the wall.
* You do not have to be afraid of the terrors of the night, of the arrow that flies by day, for the pestilence that spread in the dark,
against infectious diseases raging in the evening.
* Catastrophe will befall you, and no plague will draw near to your tent; because the angels will be commanded
to guard you in all your ways.

Gospel: Matthew 18: 1-5.10 Matthew 18: 1-5.10
On one occasion, the disciples came to Jesus and asked,
"Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" And Jesus called a little child and put him in the midst of them and said, "I tell you: Indeed, if you are converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. As for who humbles himself and becomes like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one child such as this in my name welcomes me. Remember, do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you, angel they are in heaven, and always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. "

Afterthought
We often hear ceritam anyone could survive in a deadly accident. Sometimes we are surprised and grateful when a friend tells, how he had a car accident, his car rolled but our friend was hale and hearty, usually among us who say, "Brother protected by angels."
Angelic protection against ourselves indeed real and there. Today even the Church commemorates the patron angel. Gospel reading today convey the word of the Lord Jesus so that we do not look down on one of the small children, because their angels in Heaven. The angel of the children looked at the face of the Father in Heaven, meaning that the angels were always sought the safety and protection for children to God in Heaven. The part of God, the angels were sent to guard the children and deliver protection and safety that comes from God.
Not only children, we are all protected by God through His angels, good riddance if we're going to set off for a journey of at least make the sign of the cross. If it's far away and a long journey, we pray together before leaving. It could be we're in the car, train or plane, we pray together, if necessary rosary. Very good if in prayer, we invoke the protection of the angels our protectors.

Let us give thanks because God gave the angels for our benefit. How God sent anyone, using whatever roads and facilities, whose purpose is that we really truly reach salvation. We are grateful for the goodness of God, but we also sent out so that we can act as an "angel" to one another. That is, as the angels, let us be present for others to help our neighbors achieve salvation in Heaven, We expected that we each help each other, protect each other and help, so that we are equally as go to heaven.
