Reading 1: Rom 8: 1-11.
Brothers and sisters now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. Spirit of life has set you free in Christ from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do because it was weak through the flesh, God has done. By sending his own Son in the flesh, similar to meat that is for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to God's law; it is not possible for him. Those who live in the flesh can not please God. But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. But if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalms: Psalm 24: 1-6.
Is the generation of those who seek your face, O Lord
The earth is the Lord's and everything in it, and the world and those who live in it. For he who founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. "Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?"
"The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not submit himself to the fraud, and that is not perjury. He shall receive a blessing from God and the justice of God that saved him. That is the generation of those who seek him, who seek face You, O God of Jacob. "

Gospel: Luke 13: 1-9
At that time some people came to him with the news about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mixed with the blood of their sacrifices. Jesus answered them: "Do you think people these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered these things? No, I have spoken unto you. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam, a bigger mistake than the mistake all the others who dwelt in Jerusalem? No! My word to you. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. "Then Jesus told this parable:" A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, but he did not find it. Then he said to the caretaker of the vineyard three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Chop down the tree! For what he lived on this land with useless! The man replied, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put fertilizer on it, maybe it bears fruit next year; if not, cut it down! "
Thus the Gospel of the Lord.

Afterthought.
Sometimes we have a wrong picture of the suffering of others, we often judge, if a person much suffering in the world, surely his sins are many, while people whose lives are good in this world as blessed by God himself, so it is easy to blame people who are suffering as a curse of God, obviously this view is not correct because a lot of good people suffering in this world, and a lot of bad people in this world whose lives tasty
The Jews considered the Galileans who suffered because of his sin is greater or also people who died when the tower in Siloam sin is greater than others. But Jesus answered, no. If they do not repent, they can perish in this way too. Jesus was aware of them and we are all so do not accuse innocent people because of their suffering. Jesus reminds us that good people can experience suffering and distress in this world.
We need to develop is repentance, build unity with God himself, either being good or bad, with increasingly united with God, we will be strong to face the situation of our lives, whether it is easy or difficult. With united with God, we will hold in bearing the cross of our suffering, respectively.

Reflections grain item.
First: let us be sure that as bad as bad or even evil as evil people, they are always able to repent and change for the better.
Second: all that fundamental change is possible only when moved by the Lord himself, let us implore the grace of repentance and a fundamental change for those people who might have disappointed and hurt us, who have done no good to us. Is not for God nothing is impossible?

Prayer.
Father, give us love as you give to Jesus and Stephen, his followers, so that we were able to love those who hate us, hopefully we fully apologize to them, Amen.
