First reading Acts 1: 12-14,
Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is only a Sabbath day's journey from Jerusalem. Reading the Gospel of Luke 1: 26-38
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David; The virgin's name was Mary.
When the angels went into the house of Mary, he said: "Hail, thou blessed, God is with you." Maria was surprised to hear the word, and asked in his heart, meaning of this greeting.
