Reading the Liturgy Tuesday, October 27, 2015

Reading 1: Rom 8: 18-25
Brothers and sisters I'm sure, that the sufferings of this present time can not be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of creation awaits when the children of God. Because the creation was subjected to futility, not by his own will, but the will of him who has conquered it, but in hope that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation is groaning-the pains of childbirth. And not only so, but we who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, we also groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
For we were saved in hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope; For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait with endurance.
Thus saith the Lord.

Psalms 126: 1-6
The Lord has done great things for us.
When the Lord restore Zion, our circumstances like those who dream.

The Lord has done great things for us, then we rejoice.
Please restore our state, O Lord, as the streams dry restore the Negev! People who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Gospel: Luke 13: 18-21
While teaching in the synagogue, Jesus said: "Supposing is the kingdom of God, and what I would compare it? Afterthought
Seeds and yeast Jesus used to teach about the kingdom of God, how God's reign. Have you ever observed the growth of a seed? The more we observe and we look forward, it seems like a long growing all.However if we stay a few days, know know already sprouted. How do we know that growth. What is clear is that the seeds turn into small plants, which had been hard, small, after sowing into plants that emit shoots and bigger.

How his work is not clear, not visible, but it definitely works.
In the silence like today, where we take the time to read and reflect on the Word of God, may God's voice will be heard by more jelas.Untuk that silence is really important in our lives, that we are not busy and exhausted by the noise of the "world", people around us, our jobs, television, mobile phones and so on.

Items to contemplation.
Are we willing to take a minute to listen to the voice of God in our hearts? Definitely seeds and yeast in us will work better.
Values ​​of the kingdom of God as love, loyalty, honesty, forgiveness, truth, justice and so on, which was originally small and insignificant, but if we are diligent and faithful to live and proclaim the values ​​of the faith in God, then it will change our lives to be better.
